Ordered pizza. Affordable and good. They have homemade Horchata! So so good!!! Will definitely be back!

Caution! I am not to write a bad review unless warranted, but I must warn visitors to Brigantine about this establishment. Two families staying for the week with five older teens combined. Went in on a Saturday night at 7:10pm. We saw two tables open. Great! However, before we even got to order, the waitress/server/asstmgr told us we were not welcome as a group of nine. We told her we were very much okay with splitting up as families or adults/teens. She told us we were all together and not welcome. I exclaimed "Excuse me? Can't we just split up?". She said no and was very rude about it. We walked out and went to McHugh's Primo. Again, we were very much willing to wait a few minutes or even split but she would not have it nor our business probably $100+ bill. I was very polite about it along with my wife but amazed at her unwillingness to serve two families. Very poor service!!! read more

I love Goochie :) I moved here from PA , and trust me .. we have some good pizza .. I was disappointing with the other places on the island that deliver .. UNTILL .. I met Goochie I love it. There pizza is the best on the island! I've recently ordered there penne vodka , and it's awesome. I have had their pork Italiano , and again? Awesome! Overall, not bad. Thin crust pizza, nice amount of cheese and sauce. My niece and nephew were eating the crust off everyone's plate because they like it. The portion were larger than expected. A plate of large (in size) seasoned fries was $4. We also ordered zucchini sticks that were cooked just right. Not soggy like other places send them out. Even the cups of soda were pretty big. They were busy with calls but very nice and polite. They checked in an apologize for it being busy. Only thing I would say is the could clean up a little. The table was dirty and the bathroom wasn't filthy but could've been cleaner. They also take cards and split the check. The other local pizzeria does not take cards so this is a plus! read more

First I thought they hung up on me, but they just immediately put me on hold. Then they screwed up my order. I ordered 2 cheesesteak with American cheese and 1 cheesesteak with American cheese and fried onions. I got 1 with and 1 without fried onions. Wanted me to take it outside in the cold while they made the 3rd. No thanks. The roll was good. There was no seasoning and enough steak for one split between the two. First and last time I will be going there. February definitely not peak season. read more

Went to Goochie Bros for a Friday night date and was so disappointed. This is essentially a pizza shop with tables set up. The bruschetta was nice but the rolls with dipping olive oil was so gross. The olive oil was bitter and they had dried Italian seasoning in it which had little flavor. I was thinking something simple so I ordered the turkey burger and my bf ordered the penne with sausage. He was brought a salad, which we shared. After we finished it, 10 minutes passed and they brought us another salad. We told them we already had the salad and they asked if we wanted another. No thanks. Our meal finally got to the table, but they had the wrong dish for my bf. The kitchen had screwed up I guess. The waitress had strong words with the cook. I know this because I saw the whole thing go down. Instead of copping to messing up the order she just said that the kitchen was busy and things were taking too long. Why lie to us? She was clearly upset because she kept slamming things on our table instead of taking out her frustration with the kitchen. It was very uncomfortable. I ate my burger while my boyfriend waited. My meal was so so. The burger was dry and not much flavor. After I finished, we waited for another 20 minutes and finally we got the right pasta dish. Then I sat there while watching my boyfriend eat. Not the point of date night. You would think that with such a bad experience, they would have compensated in some way, but no. Their prices for dinner were not that reasonable either. Also, their bathroom was awful. It was hot in there and there were flies. It had two doors, one to the kitchen and one to the restaurant. When I was in there, I kept worrying that someone was going to walk in on me. I have sworn to never go back here. Ordered a "Chicago style pan pizza". Not even close to a Chicago pizza. Was a little thicker than their thin crust but really just you normal pizza. Very false advertising. It tasted good but not even close to a deep dish. Stick with Primo's on the island. read more

5 star dining at a more then reasonable price. Have been there multiple times and never leave dissatisfied. Looking at this place you would think it's just another hole in the wall pizza shop but Gucci bros is way more then that. It's a byob obviously so that's a plus but the food is about is good as it gets in brigantine. Definitely would try the grilled chicken & vegetable plate pictured below. Chicken Parmesan dinner plate is slamming as well and you will no doubt be leaving with leftovers for lunch the next day with any dish you choose. Terrible service terrible attitude and overcharged me. Menu states Eggplant rollatini app comes with three. They served me two. They also charged an extra $4 to swap out for vodka sauce. So two (not three) rollatini and two meatballs cost me $21. I asked why don't they tell how much the up charge is and the response "everyone knows how much it costs". Never again. read more

Good is better than average. For those thinking fine Italian dining WRONG this is a typical pizza shop in a strip mall. Oh so slow, I called ahead ordered 1 Cheese Steak they told me 30 minutes yet an hour later there I stood waiting along with several others for our orders. While I waited I heard a couple tell the waitress it had been an hour and half and they still did not have thier good. One young man really did nothing a young girl busy on the phone taking orders and he would only put callers on hold for long waits to place orders. I suppose customers time is not important or really did not matter to him. This was a Wednesday night about 7:30 pm. This is our umpteenth trip to Goochi Brothers. We were not disappointed. Because of a spring snow fall the island and the restaurant we're nearly empty. We were greeted and seated right away. We brought our own wine which was promptly opened by our very able waitress. We recognized her from our numerous times there. We had wine, looked over the menu and then ordered. Signature bruschetta arrived at the table promptly. Dinner salads came next. We each had a different entre: there was the eggplant rollatini on linguine, ravioli with meatball and sausage, eggplant parm and chicken franchese over linguini. For some reason it appeared that our dishes were extra generous tonight. After we had finished eating our food and finished our wine there was plenty on everyone's plate for a takeout box. As usual, when the bill was presented, the total was very reasonable. We have eaten the same type of meals at the well-known Atlantic City restaurants and easily paid twice as much in the past. Their food is consistently good, seems to be very fresh and was served in a very pleasant manner. This is probably not only the best Italian restaurant on the island but one of the best restaurants on the island of Brigantine. Of course, we will go again. read more

Go here for lunch!! Greeted by the manager, friendly wait staff, very fast service. They give you a free appetizer of bruschetta, which was pretty good. Then they brought out rolls, which were nice and hot. Salad was middle of the road. My lunch compatriot and I had chicken and shrimp parmigiana respectively. Delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente, and just the right size. Only $10 each for all that! I'll be a regular here. read more

Good food, terrible service. Called to order two small trays of food and were told we needed to call 24 hours in advance. Offered to wait but were told no. Ordered individual meals instead (double the price) and told 45 minute wait. An hour and a half later the food was finally ready. The people behind the counter were chaotic and it was unclear who was in charge. Its unfortunately the customer service is so incredibly poor because the food is good. There is high demand in the area for the food but customers don't need to deal with the frustration of this service while on vacation. read more

Ordered a pizza at 11:35 a.m. I ordered a 2 pie special, with 1 pie cooked extra light. Received text informing me my order would be delivered between 11:56 a.m.-12:11 p.m. At 12:20, I called to find out how much longer. I was told "he will be there any minute". LOL What a joke!!! I called again 13 minutes later at 12:33, & they did not answer the phone. I kept calling continuously for 4 minutes, until the pizza finally arrived at 12:37 p.m. I told the delivery person " I will never order from you again, & I was going to write a review how horrible the service is". All he kept saying was "Ok, Ok", & left. ( I never should have tipped in advance on my credit card, because, obviously the delivery person doesn't care once he has his money). When we opened the pizza, the light pizza was indeed lite, but it had not been cut. The second pizza had all types of toppings which I did NOT order, or want. It had mushroom, & onions, & the pizza was cold, & the crust was hard as a rock!! Adding free toppings does not rectify the problem, as I do not like mushrooms, or onions. Live & learn. I must admit I didn't have the highest expectations because I've been disappointed by the islands food options in the past BUT I was pleasantly surprised! Oof. Tough call. Ordered twice from them this week. First time, Monday, linguine w clams, salmon on the heart healthy menu and a pizza. Everything was spot on. Delicious. Second time, Saturday, rosa spag, chick parm and a pizza. The Rosa sauce was bland, almost greasy. The chick parm was just not good. Picture chicken fingers with Ragu sauce and cheese. Heavily breaded. Sweet, cheap, jar-type sauce. So disappointed after the first good experience. The first one was easily a 5. This one was a -1 at best. I always get chick parm as my measuring stick for places. This one ranked at the bottom. Very sad because we have had consistently good meals there in the past. I saw a note elsewhere that mgmt changed a year or so back. Not for the better I'm afraid. Will give them a tie-break chance, but this last one was really bad. Oh, and the pizza was decent both time. Not awesome, but decent. The crust is bland cracker-like but the rest of the pie is decent Boardwalk style. Monday special was 8.99 for a large and worth it. Today, Sat, regular price, 9.99 for a medium, less so. I'd still do pizza again. The rest was sketchy - hoping it was just a bad day. read more

Not very good. Pizza is very dry, and crust is difficult to bite into. Order was also messed up as a Mexican dish was included with my order instead of the correct Italian salad. If I call an Italian restaurant I would expect the person answering the phone to be able to not confuse the word insalata and enchilada. read more

I love the pizza here. Out of the other pizza spots in Brigantine, this is, by far the best. The staff is always super sweet. We ordered a Sicilian pie. Admittedly I am a bit of a pizza snob having grown up in Brooklyn ny but this was bad. I live in pa now and this was worse then anything i have had there. There was a strange taste to the pie that i could not identify. Worse then that was a Ragu like after taste that lingered in you're mouth long after you were finished eating. Our go to place in Brigantine. Great food, super people and a menu that makes you smile. Not just a pizza joint (although in my opinion, the best pizza on the island) but a legit Italian restaurant. Don't let the small strip mall location fool you, this place makes some seriously good food. Where else can you have lasagna one night and a cheeseburger with pork roll on top the next. Whether on vacation or not, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

My family has ordered pizza from here before and it has been pretty good. I tried the chicken parm sandwich tonight and I could not believe what I bit into....a soggy roll with cheese and sauce...When I opened my sandwich I noticed there wasn't even a whole chicken tender spread throughout the sandwich. I called goochie brothers immediately and the young lady said the manager was too busy to handle this right now and asked for my name and phone number. I said that is unacceptable and I returned my sandwich immediately demanding my money. They obviously didn't care when I showed them the sandwich. I went to Andre's on Brigantine Boulevard and got a well toasted chicken parm sandwich that actually had chicken in it! Shame on you Goochie Brothers!! read more

Their pizza is good and over the years dining in has been a overall good experience. It's been a few years since ordering anything but pizza. After all there are lots of good Italian restaurants in South Jersey. Today I went in to order lunch for my daughter to drop off at work for her. I got fajitas. ( yes they have a Mexican Menu). There were 0 customers at 11: 52 when I placed my order and put a buck n the tip jar. I waited patiently for 25 minutes before my order was ready. One couple came in during that time period to sit down. Several people ordered pizza to go. The delivery guy was just sitting at a table I guess waiting for HIS delivery food to be ready. So I asked what happened that it took so long after I paid as no apology or explanation was offered. The waitress/cashier gave a lame excuse that the Mexican food takes longer. No apology still. Then blank stare and walked away when I asked if I could speak to someone in the back. I was not happy and let that be known. Then the apology was I'm sorry if you had to wait too long, they are backed up in the kitchen. Terrible customer service. Girls who really couldn't care about their bosses business or the customers. Btw the fajitas were good according to my daughter. It's a shame we won't order lunch there ever again. read more

Reading some of these reviews is insane... Goochie's is one of my favorite places to get food on the island! The penne a la vodka is to die for. The salads are DELICIOUS. Not to mention the portions are super generous. I have eaten IN once or twice (typically do take out) and it is typically super packed and I do agree with someone else's post saying it's a glorified pizza place with tables inside. For some reason, I'm in love with their buffalo chicken. That's all I order here, buffalo wrap or salad. My mom usually gets the prime rib, try this if you want to go to heaven. My grandma orders their stromboli every time and swears its the best thing ever; she's even a picky eater. I've never had their pizza, so I can't be of help for that. But if you like any of the three foods listed above, you should try it. read more
