The place was packed as it always is, not a problem we only waited 10 minutes for a table. The food was very good and the menu is quite varied from apps, pizzas, sushi, pasta. We sampled them all. Drinks were good and well prepared. For being so large the sound level was high but not too bad. The only negative was that several of our dinners came out 10-15 minutes late. Our waitress was superb even though she was very busy she made a point to check on us. Not a bad experience if you know what to expect

What a delightful, comfortable, breezy place by the beach. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Eating outdoors we had our drinks in plastic glasses. It that's alright. Definitely would eat here again and again

Loved it. Service was amazing. Arrived at 5:30 on Friday and got seated right away. SO fast, we ordered and then the food came out so fast. Everything was delicious. Outside was a great spot- lots of shade and awesome live music. Really cool vibe. There were so many people here for dinner but it still was so fast. Drinks are expensive but a cute spot. Would go again.

Wow! Absolutely loved everything about this place. Our server was amazing (Sophia) and was so attentive and funny! Our food was so good, drinks came quickly and were good. Coming back all summer, what, a, vibe.

Alicia Poke was absolutely delicious, but I would ask for no roasted red peppers next time.

The portions were huge, the staff and service were fantastic and the value was there. I loved the ambiance too.

Looked for a nice place for a quick dinner in Brigantine, NJ. Found LaScalas which had some good reviews so we tried there. The restaurant looked recently remodeled with white granite countertops and tables, nice looking. Our waitress was very friendly. She took our drink order and brought them back quickly. I ordered a double gin and tonic, which is my summer drink of choice. Then ordered an app of Calamari and a Margarita pizza. The calamari was excellently prepared and delicious. The pizza was over cooked and served cold. I had one slice and that was it. Then the bill came, I was charged $21 for the drink. Wow, very disappointed. Not recommending this place or coming back.

Only went for drinks while taking a break from the beach. I will definitely ho back to check out the food. Service was slow, it was crowded. They had a nice band playing. I ordered the loretta lemonade which is like a limoncello spritz. I ordered a club soda, it never came and I was charged for it ‍‍‍

I'm thinking maybe this place is better in the summer than in the winter? The food was really disappointing. I got the Italian boil. The pasta was rewarmed and didn't taste fresh. The tomato sauce it came in was very basic and disappointing. The boil my wife got was equally disappointing... My kids disliked the Mac and cheese ( this is rare). The best part of the meal was definitely the corn bread. It was delicious. The atmosphere is tiny and cramped for a party of 5 and we were the only people there. This is more of a takeout place I guess. But, I've never been so let down by following ratings on Yelp. I feel kind giving them 2 stars.... Even the crab Rangoon appetizer wasn't good. Geez....

The place was beautiful but it does get crazy right at open for happy hour at the bar so make sure youre there early if you want that. There's literally a line waiting... We started off with the Shrimp Ceviche. It was super flavorful and tasted very fresh. Then we got the Grilled Octopus and it was FABULOUS! The flavor just encased your mouth when you take a bite. Its not overly chewy and the beans underneath made a great addition to each bite you took. I had NEVER tried oysters before and I finally mustered up the courage and tried one and im glad i did. It was delicious and im so glad they allow you to try just one so you don't waste money if its not your thing. The server was so nice to offer because I told her id never tried one. After that we tried the Maine and Manhattan Chowders. Both were super yummy and had a great taste and a good amount of clams.... another thing I had never tried before... WORTH IT. Then came the main course. I got the Flounder and Crab while my boyfriend got the Brazino. Both were so delicious and so light and yummy. I honestly can't say one thing i did not like about the food at this place. It was all so good. To finish off dinner, we got the Creme Brulee and an English Coffee to share. Again AMAZING. If you're ever down in Atlantic City, this place is a MUST GO!

For starters- this place easily had one of the best blue cheese dirty martinis I have had in a while- my husband ordered an old fashion and it was also perfectly made. My favorite thing on the menu had to be the octopus- just wow, I could easily order two of those- make a meal out of it and be completely satisfied- phenomenal. Oysters were fresh and the calamari was also delicious. My husband ordered the lamb and I would say it was also top tier. I ordered the steak and lobster- the lobster was fantastic but the steak tasted very gamey for me- as much as I love gamey I wasn't in the mood for that taste right there and then. Overall I would go back again in a heartbeat- great service, great food and a lovely experience.

I appreciated that they had large platform games for families to enjoy, but unfortunately, the noise became distracting. Whenever the Connect 4 game ended, the pieces would come crashing down, creating loud noises that took away from the overall dining experience. We were given complimentary bread, but it was cold, and the butter was so frozen that none of us felt inclined to eat it. The food itself was mediocre overall. They do offer a $28 prime rib special on Fridays, which, to our family's surprise, was actually better than expected. I probably wouldn't return unless it was simply for convenience. One thing worth noting, though, is that they sell beer, wine, and seltzers inside the restaurant, so if you're in the area and need to pick up some drinks, that's an added convenience.

He entered our card manually and mistyped the expiration date. Threw the card to my husband and walked away saying something under his breath. We didn't even know what happened until my husband got a message from his bank saying that recent transaction was declined because expiration date did not match.
