Nice place for drinks and food. I do like their menu! Their Nashville chicken burger was one of the best options that I tried out. Their Caesar's drink was good but their IPA beer was better. Their customer service was friendly and the patio was good area.

Christina was our server. She said she is new and did a great job at checking in with my mum and I. Food came out hot and yummy. Excellent patio with lots of fun drink options.

Nashville sandwich is super tasty and has a good kick to it spice wise. The 22 is also very good however the chicken breast was very small and didn't fill the bun (see pic). Good selection of beer and cocktails and a fun pub atmosphere. Fries and poutine were just meh as was the service- took the waitress about 10mins to acknowledge us after we were seated. Overall, decent enough food to return.

A friend told me this place has the best veggie burger around, so.... had to see for myself. Well it was pretty good, but not quite as good as A&W's Beyond burger. Was still quite good though. My partner had the rainbow bowl which he loved. There were several tasty looking vegetarian items on the menu, so we'll surely be back. The pub is very nice. Beautiful interior. Great location. Very good service. Good seating. Enough TV's for Flames games... lol. Great dinner tonight. Looking forward to our next visit.

Half the people are cut off by the post but counted 11 at this point ... 3 of them work here and all at one table

Went here for my birthday with my 2 roommates as there's not much else to do during the pandemic and sat for half an hour not being served as we watched our server make out with the boy at the table next to us, take shots with him and then agree to go smoke a joint outside with him during her shift resulting in our table only getting one drink during the hour we were there before last call. What the hell? Not sure what world this is acceptable work behaviour at but making out with the next table to us and not even coming to serve us afterwards? Not cool. Edit - 3 of the other servers just sat down and joined a table of 11 people which I didn't even think was allowed ... also have multiple other tables mingling and people walking around all over the place without masks on

I get it that this is a new restaurant and all, but the ownership group is not new to this business. They have a restaurant that fills up by 5pm daily, yet every staff member is new. They pulled no staff from other locations or business. They were overstaffed and under trained. The food came out randomly, as if they had no expediter in the kitchen sorting out chits and food that was up. A dish would come out and then 10 minutes later another would come out, and these were main courses. Trying to modify or create a dish suitable for vegetarian kids was near impossible. They wouldn't even find a way to make a small plate of nachos with cheese. We ordered the tater tots and they were cold and undercooked with easily a cup of sour cream lathered on them. So unappetizing that our table returned them. Vegans, if you're looking for something, they have a Buddha bowl you could get a better version of next door at buddhaful. Their veggie patty has egg and I'm pretty sure it's the black bean burger from Costco. The chicken fajitas were advertised as plain chicken, yet the were so covered in Cajun spice that it overpowered any other flavor and my dad simply left the chicken out of the rest of his fajitas as it was overpowering. The beers are great, the space is awesome. Give it time and they'll iron out the kinks, but wow, what a terrible experience. Our server, Teah, was great. She handled herself perfectly and professionally. The kitchen needs to sort itself out and prepare food properly and send it out at appropriate times. Even though we had a bad first experience, we were very appropriately compensated for the experience and will try again. For sure I'll be going there for après ski and post biking beers.

Finally we got a place to hang out for birthdays etc without crossing the bridge or heading towards LOLO aka Lonsdale. It took us 4 mins to get here woohoo - a major win. Colony is already a well known established place in vancouver and thank you for venturing out in north shore, having said we got invited for a birthday party and we were sat down in super uncomfortable - right in the centre of restaurant on a seating on 8 despite we had 13 people in our party. Guys had to request the servers to change a table upon which they took us to the booth area and told us WE HAVE THIS TABLE FOR 1 hour and 30 MINS; no one took her seriously as we were certain no one is going to kick us off our table once we sat down and of course 3 hours down and more people joined us instead of us standing table-less. Apart from this major sad welcome rest of the evening went pretty smooth. We ordered bunch of appetizers to be shared for the table and love love love love their wings-- lemon pepper ones were my personal fav and they were delish, a must try. And have I mention how good French fries are???? Yes they are beer battered and so yum, please try them too. It's like if you wanna cheat might as well cheat for these ones. Didn't even liked the idea of their' version of calamari, someone else might ; just wasn't my plate of calamari. I like my traditional way deep fried and tons of jalapeño and sweet peppers I guess. The place is brand new and I totally get it as it does take some time and that's why the drink' service wasn't prompt enough, else I would had had more if asked instead flagging and waving the servers everytime . Got our orders wrong and we ate our main when everyone was either done or left lol. It's being 2 times already we being to colony and will definitely going back soon as I'm hopeful for this gem. PS they dnt have pick up service yet, too bad else I wanted those chicken wings on Netflix nights.

I didn't know that the north shore had a colony bar so I was surprised when going to this location for lunch. The space is nice but smaller than I anticipated. It's has the feel of a sports bar but with high ceiling. I wasn't very hungry that time so I just ordered a basic Caesar salad. I'm not quite sure the price point was worth what was served as it was just romaine lettuce, dressing, a wedge of lemon and maybe 6 croutons. It's was a sensibly sized bowl for a main salad but even adding a couple pieces of a protein would be a more reasonable price of $12. I tried some of their fries from my friends veggie burger and they were great. Nice crunch but also fluffy on the inside aswell. Overall I would say it's a nice place you you want a simple lunch and decent priced drinks as well.

Google told me about Queens Cross Neighbourhood Pub so we made a spontaneous decision to come and check this place out for our dinner. Mom ordered Fish n Chips, my daughter ordered a Caesar Salad and I ordered a Classic Queens Mac, minus the bacon. Honestly, I wasn't very hungry. I sort of wish I'd just ordered a Caesar Salad like my daughter, or even just shared her salad with her. Originally, my intention was to order light like her. However, when I found myself in the restaurant...it just didn't feel right to order a salad. How often do we find ourselves inside a British restaurant? Caesar salad just didn't seem like the right thing to order, especially not when my daughter was already ordering it. I felt like I needed to order something different so I could try more of the menu. Hence...I ended up with Classic Queens Mac. I ate about half of it, and took the rest home. It came with two triangular pieces of bread on top. The bread was tasty but honestly...I have troubles understanding why restaurants like to serve bread with pasta dishes. Unless it's a small serving of pasta, it just doesn't make sense to me cuz pasta is a carbohydrate...it's a very filling food already. I was so thankful though that my daughter wanted to eat one of the pieces of bread, so that left me with just one piece to eat. I tried a few pieces of the "chips" from my mom's Fish n Chips. Wasn't too impressed but then again, maybe I should have tried it sooner when it was hot. The fries had cooled down already by the time I tried. My Classic Queens Mac had plenty of cheese pull to it and I loved that they put tomatoes into it. I was also happy that they were able to accommodate my request to make the Classic Queens Mac without bacon. Some of their Happy Hour eats look very appealing so maybe we'd try to come here for a Happy Hour sometime. Wish they'd add a Sticky Toffee Pudding to their Dessert section!

I was intrigued by the location even before I came here in person as I could see on the map that it was in a residential area, away from main streets and other commercial businesses. There was only one lady working here (Monika). I came here with my mom. She ordered a Chai Latte and I ordered a Matcha Latte. Our drinks came out fairly quickly but we had to wait quite awhile for our food. We had each ordered a slice of quiche with a bowl of Potato & Leek soup. Monika realized we had waited quite awhile for our food and brought us a chunk of carrot cake on the house to make up for the long wait. She said this cake was their bestseller. No room to eat the cake as tummy space was already taken up by quiche and soup, so we brought the cake home. The cake was quite good indeed and I enjoyed the quiche as well. Drinks and soup could have been better. I would have preferred my Matcha Latte to have been sweeter and my mom felt her Chai Latte was a bit too sweet for her. I think this place has potential and perhaps might do better with a bit more help. It's a charming space in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I do hope there will be more staff working here eventually. Kinda sounded like Monika had taken over this shop not too long ago so...guess it's in a bit of a transitional stage.

They only serve their hot brunch on a weekend, as during the week there is no chef available so it's the pastries and such in the window on offer. We enjoy their brunch offerings, finding them reasonably priced and overall quite tasty. I often get the big breakfast type dish with eggs, bacon etc. They had waffles at one stage that the kids loved but that doesn't seem to be available all the time. We can't go past a pancake on the side, as they're so tasty and cheap! Pancakes all round! ($2 each last time we were there). We enjoy coming here for consistent quality in a different setting. Service can be a little slow at times, though friendly, but they're a small, popular location with minimal staff covering the demand. There's also a small bodega type shop if you wanted to grab premade items or less common snacks. If you come in earlier on a weekend, getting a seat shouldn't be a problem. There's also a nice patio to enjoy the sunny days on. Pretty sure I've seen a few dogs here in the past. They do a good hot brunch which I'd recommend if you're in the area or posting through.
