The vibe of this place is an 11/10. So glad I finally made a trip here to check out their happy hour and will definitely be back to try more items from the menu. I loved the eggplant dip so much! The mint & pomegranate were nice touches to go along with the dip and they provided plenty of bread. My friend ordered the sardines which isnt really my jam, but I did try a bite and I didnt hate it (which is a compliment I promise!) I actually didnt love either of the cocktails I ordered (Elephant Never Forgets & Spiced Pear Spritz), but I can tell the TLC they put into their drinks, so I just need to explore the menu further I'm sure. Will be back!

I'm soooo happy I finally made it to No Ordinary Rabbit! We told them it was our anniversary and they greeted us with a champagne toast when we were seated. We started with the red pepper dip and it was so good I could have licked the bowl. I ordered the gnocchi as my main course and it had so much flavor I loved it. I can't wait to come back again and would love to enjoy some beautiful weather on their patio.

Amazing food and incredible cocktails. An elevated but still approachable vibe. Olia and Zoe are the GOATs!

Cozy restaurant with indoor and outdoor patio seating that is dog friendly. Got a few dips, a salad, and some tinned fish to share. Absolutely loved the homemade flatbreads that came with the red pepper-walnut and eggplant baba dips, would go again just for those! Delicious.

I first tried No Ordinary Rabbit at the Great Taste. Their red pepper walnut dip made me want to try the restaurant and it did not disappoint! I of course had to get the dip again and opted for a dirty martini and asked if I could do their pickle brine instead of olive brine and I loved it. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. I can't wait to try more of their food and drinks in the future

Came here on a Tuesday evening. Made a reservation, but when we walked in, it was not packed. The waitstaff were nice, and quickly led us to our table. The place was small, and the ambience was cozy. The menu was nice and tight, and our waiter was very informative about options on the menu. We ended up ordering the following: zaatar onion rings, burratam gnocchi, mac and cheese, braised short rib, and 2 gooey butter cakes. This was a meal that fed four people comfortably. The onion rings had the wow factor when they were first brought in given their size, but it rapidly dwindled. While they were crispy, it was definitely underseasoned. It had flavored, and tasted better with the caramelized onion labneh, but more salt would've definitely sent it over the edge. The burrata was good; definitely a dish to get if you like beets. The gnocchi and the mac & cheese were both really good. Both were exceedingly creamy, rich and full of flavor. Very satisfying sense of umami with each bite. The braised short ribs and potatoes were also good, but not as flavorful nor as tender as I know that braised ribs can be. Finally, the gooey butter cake with ice cream left a satisfying sweetness to end the night. The ice cream was delicious and the gooey butter was good, although not the best gooey butter that I've had. Overall, it is a decent place for a nice date night service was relatively fast and I was satisfied. 4/5 stars.

UM WOW. This place is amazing. It's been on the list and I'm so glad we gave it a try. We will absolutely be back. My husband made a reservation for my birthday and I'm glad he did, it was packed for a week day!! Luckily, they had a table saved and we were seated immediately. Service was great all night. Our only complaint was there was nothing said about my birthday. We never expect anything free but it is a special occasion and he told them it was a special occasion and they didn't even say anything, which was a little disappointing. Luckily we had another reservation for dessert somewhere else after and they made up for it! My point is - this place is awesome and give it a try but not for a special night because it won't be "special". Since it was my birthday we did go all out and got whatever we wanted off the menu, we warned the waitress so she was awesome and boxed things as we ate, which was perfect. I don't think we had anything we didn't like. My husband said the onion rings were the best he's ever had. The fish dip was fantastic and I'm not a fish eater. The Mac n cheese was super unique and flavorful. The ricotta dumplings were bomb. The pork was so tender and perfect, we are sous vide our own pork chops now it was so good. The food is top notch. We eat out a lot in the area and this place competes with the best. Highly recommend for a great meal.

Sexy, vibey, cozy, intimate. No ordinary rabbit is home to all the vibes and some dang good eats. This spot is the perfect addition to the grove. A clean, sharp space full of good drinks, and amazing service. All of the workers are awesome. Attentive, respectful, and on point. A dang cold martini began my night to act as dinner's predecessor. Crisp, clean, bright. As a martini should be. The whipped feta is superb. A bit tangy, amazing texture, and a bit of sweetness from the honey. Burnt rosemary adds a touch herbiness. The chicken gnocchi was amazing. It was reminiscent of a chicken pot pie in gnocchi form. Super rich with fluffy pillows of potato pasta! So much umami packed in with the mushrooms, slight acidity and spice from the peppers, and some wilted greens to top it off in a light broth/sauce! So amazing. This place will be a go to for myself and the rest of the neighborhood for years to come

I really enjoyed my first visit to No Ordinary Rabbit. The decor was bright, nature-inspired, with a bit of a Tulum vibe. The cocktails were creative, and the menu had a bunch of unique dishes and a lot of the ingredients I had no idea what they were but really enjoyed. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly cooked, and still felt healthy at the same time. I really enjoyed my duck dish and I was surprised how much I liked the smashed beans with the sun-dried tomatoes, and the whipped feta app was textured and really good. Our server was friendly, attentive, and l helpful. Overall, an enjoyable first experience.

UNbelievable! Food is rotating chef's small plate menus! Staff has worked together for years! Best of a vibrant food scene in STL! Extraordinarily knowledgeable & personable server Olia!! Bartender produced perfectly Sazerac! As good as NOLA!

We got recommended NOR by a family friend and we were not disappointed! The concept of having all shareable plates was a great way to try multiple different items on the menu. The Corn Hummus and Sable plate were our favorites. The Hummus had great flavor and the fried bread it was served with was soft, perfect for the dish. The Sable was flaky and crispy on the outside, cooked perfectly. The pistachio gooey butter cake was the highlight of our meal!! Our server was a great help with deciding what to get. We tried two of his recs (the sable and pistachio cake) and were impressed. Great knowledge of the menu. We'll be coming back!!

This place was amazing! You have to call to make a reservation and I highly recommend it especially on busy weekend evenings. During our visit, there was still a slight chill in the air but we were seated indoors which was lovely. We started with their za'atar onion rings. So good! We immediately knew why they are one of their most popular starters. We also ordered their charred eggplant baba served with (2) grilled loafers bread with smoked sea salt. It was perfect. We asked for more bread as there was still about half of the baba. You can tell they make it fresh as it took a little while and they came out hot. We did get charged for the extra bread but worth it. For my entrée, I ordered the pan seared monk fish and my husband had the spinach ricotta gnudi that had some fennel chicken sausage. He let me have a bite of the chicken sausage and it was delicious. Of course, I couldn't finish my plate so I took the rest home but saved room for dessert. I ordered a cigar baklava. Flaky pastry but due to the configuration (cigar form) it was convenient to pick up and eat without needing any silverware or making a huge mess of the flaky filo. What an excellent concept! Service was great. Our waitress had the right amount of attentiveness and made sure we were not waiting too long for our food and drinks. Their cocktails were excellent as well. I am so happy to have had a wonderful experience during our first visit. I cannot wait to return!

Of course it didn't help that the kitchen was closed, so we had no food to go with it. I opted for the bar. Later I did see other guests arrive that were not fancy either, so I felt better. You could be fancy and fit right in, though. Angela was my server at the bar and she was top notch! Giving me time to review the menu but also jumping in to answer questions. I wanted to try a drink and the cocktails look amazing so I will have to come back to try a couple, they had a list of Spirit Free and I went with the Stappi Spritz. It was bright and refreshing with a bit of bitter and I really enjoyed it. So many food options looked good, I took a bit to decide and then went with the Starter of Oeufs et Mayo and would go from there. When it arrived I felt it looked like a dish on a cooking competition show - it was so pretty. Angela indicated a great way to eat it was to get a scoop of everything and put it on the LF grilled bread and that is what I did! So very good! All the flavors went well together, the burst of salty goodness from the trout roe and the grilled bread, fantastic. Even with so many other Plates to try, I will have a hard time not ordering those jammy eggs again. Extras included Crispy Fingerling Potatoes fried with rosemary and served with romesco aioli, they were good and a large enough serving to share. The rosemary is definitely part of the dish but I ordered with the knowledge that I now like rosemary. I also wanted to try the Sage and Fennel Sausage, they were in patty form and the order came with 2 and they were large. It was decent, I wanted more sage and fennel for my taste. Angela set me up with go boxes so I could enjoy my meal again as leftovers! Great food, great service. Can't wait to go back again!
