She was super friendly and good with Stella, who is wary of of strangers. All was well taken care of while I was away and I was pleased to see that in all the pics that the sitter sent, Stella was just chilling on her bed or on the couch, not hiding as she often is while I'm away. I think sometimes the people working for other services just aren't well suited to cats. Not the case with Kat's service. Very happy and will definitely seek them out when I am next in need of a sitter.

They use an app that is easy to navigate, and they provide clear updates during their visits (you get notifications when the walker arrives and departs, photos and a written note about how it went, a map showing their walk route, and a checklist of the tasks that the walker completed). Their prices are also reasonable. It's a relief to have such a wonderful option for my dog when I'm out of the house for a longer period of time; I recommend!

The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

After some research I contacted Sitter4Paws with a few questions and to set up a meet and greet. They were (and continue to be) so responsive, kind and flexible - I knew we had made the right decision from the start. The daily updates/pictures we receive from the walks always put a smile on our faces, and we have never once been concerned that our dog wasn't being taken care of.
