I had high hopes for this place based off the reviews I saw and boy was I not disappointed!! I ordered a Chicago dog and one of their specials named the Junk Yard dog. Both absolutely blew my socks off! The toppings on the Chicago dog were very fresh and piled on high all held together by a robust yet very soft bun. The Junk Yard was my personally favorite. It was a rendition of a chili cheese dog with the addition of fritos and fresh jalapeños. The spice from the peppers was just right and the crunch from the chips wasn't something I knew that I needed. The best part was the homemade chili which was very flavorful and not too runny. The kindness Philip showed me touched my heart and made my day after never meeting him before. If you're ever considering stopping by here it's an absolute must! I know I'll be back. read more

Such a cool place. The owner is very rad and you can tell he has major heart for his business and for the flavor and quality of food he puts out. The Mac and cheese dog was next level. He mentioned it was homemade - in addition all the ingredients are sourced from local farms and the bread is from a bakery in San Francisco. I'll just be straight forward - this is the best hot dog spot I have ever tried. I strongly believe most people will love this spot too! Amazing hot dogs- sadly the were out of the Mac and cheese since it was near the end of the day- but the chile was amazing Also the buns were like sourdough and tasted so amazing I will say the hot dog dosent taste like your store bought hot dogs at all- I got the polish sausage but my sister got the regular hot dog and I got to finish it and I was like flabbergasted that it tasted so good- especially with the bun and it only had ketchup and mustard on it 10/10 would reccomend read more

Nothing but Five Stars for this guy! I ordered a Hot Link Chili Cheese dog. It was so good! Thick soft bun, perfect spice, fresh graded cheddar, and chopped onions! It's definitely a meal! This is the food truck where Phil Mansfield serves up great hot dogs, Polish dogs and hamburgers with a lot of care and attention to detail. I was super impressed by the Chicago Dog and the Chili Dog, so I decided to feature this business as the inaugural review of this new group! Phil built a kitchen into his custom Airstream trailer nine years ago and has been getting rave reviews - not only for the quality and craft of his menu items, but also for his kindness and commitment to great service. He's driving to San Francisco for his breads, going to farmers markets for fresh produce, and spending three hours to prepare his chili. He also offers a homemade Mac and cheese. You can get a soda and chips if you're so inclined. These were the best hot dogs I've had in the area so far, and I'm giving Good Dogs a rating of 5 stars.
