Having been through many services that work in Arlington and ending up with broken things, marks on furniture from vacuum cleaner, and only rudimentary cleaning, I am so satisfied with Good Earth Cleaning. They show up right at or even slightly before the scheduled time, clean efficiently, and are out the door. I have 3 pets and you wouldn't be able to tell after they have visited. Review from a Pet Owner!! So as someone who has a pet, she's my everything - and I wanted to find a cleaning company that understands what that means to own a pet. Which also meant, they understood what it means to clean a house with a pet and they use non-toxic cleaning chemicals. With this company - they just get it. And I'm finally writing today because of what happened at my home today. The cleaners arrived as normally scheduled, on time, and all that jazz - and I'm at work about 20 minutes away when I get a call from Shawn. He told me that the cleaners were concerned about my cat because she was in the bathtub and seemed very stressed out. She's normally very friendly and calm, so this unusual behavior prompted them to call Shawn (I guess he runs the office) who called me immediately. I told them to ignore her if she didn't look like she was in any danger, and just ignore the tub for now. I left work and drove 20 minutes home, to find her in the bathtub. Apparenlty she got spooked at something, jumped in the tub, and because it was wet from my shower, couldn't get out. They were willing to get her out, but I told them to leave her if she was stressed because I would be home soon - and a stressed cat is not one you want to pick up as a "stranger". I feel most cleaners would have ignored her, and wouldn't have recognized her unusual behavior. Had I not been called, my poor baby would have been sitting in that tub, wet, all day long. SHe was so happy to see me home, she was totally fine, she wasn't in any sort of actual danger - and now she's in my lap dry and happy as a clam :) Now, in terms of the cleaning service itself! they are fantastic. Especially as someone who has some serious cat hair everywhere, they do an amazing job getting it all. Coming home to a cat hair free apartment is a god send. They use green, pet friendly products - everything is spotless, and they really take care of everything. This is a class act service!!!! I have a regular cleaning person who's out for a couple of months, so I called Good Earth in the interim. They did a great job! They sent Ana, who was very professional and warm (and kind to our cats!), and left things sparkling clean. The house smells great and everything looks polished. I have multiple chemical sensitivity, so I cannot use just any product or have it used in my home. Sean, the owner of this business, came to my house and really took time to understand my needs. With this service, I do not have to worry about some awful product being used in my house, I know they will use the ones we agreed to. The same ladies come each time as well, so they know exactly what to do and do it. One even sings while she works, which my husband adores. Good Earth was tremendously thorough for our move-out apartment cleaning. The team of three they sent over scrubbed the place from top to bottom, leaving it spotless for the next tenants. Two days before we moved, our cat threw up on the carpet, leaving a troublesome stain that we thought would require professional carpet cleaning services. We expected Good Earth to vacuum, but they also gave some TLC to the carpet stain and made it look so much better. Good Earth Cleaning did an excellent job! I must admit it's been awhile since I had a regular cleaning service as I usually do this myself. However, I'm so please with the service from the moment I walked into my apartment that evening from a trip. My place smelled wonderful, things were in order and shining. Ana does a great job! She is very thorough and really leaves our home sparkling and fresh. They specialize in using "green" products so I appreciated it when Ana asked me ahead of time if she could use bleach in the bathroom. Wish they had an option to pay and schedule services online. read more

Wonderful service. We had them clean our home for a year or a year and a half. Very professional, very nice ladies who always did a fantastic job. I was frankly amazed at what they could get done in the time they had. The owner was always easy to work with in terms of changing appointments and other issues. Requested a one time cleaning (mom was visiting!). A crew of 2 used green products (Dr. Bonners, etc.) and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Great service! We've occasionally used other cleaning services in the past, and with GECS you can easily see a difference in how the cleaners conduct themselves. You can find cheaper cleaners via Groupon, etc. but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I began using Good Earth cleaning in March 2014, and initially planned to just have a one-time deep clean. However, after the great job the Ana did, we opted to begin service every four weeks and it has been great! We have a young son and a cat, and Ana works well with both in the house. We recently moved to a new home, and Good Earth sent Ana and another team member for our move-out inspection cleaning. They did a wonderful job, and we had no issues with the walk-through of by the property managers. We've continued service at our new home and are just as pleased with Ana's work. She is completely trustworthy, and we feel comfortable with her being in the home while we are away. The cost may be slightly higher, but we're comfortable with that because the products she uses are environmentally responsible, and there is no overpowering chemical smell after she cleans.
