    Planet Burger
    Malik S.

This place had a lot of vegan options and various other fresh and healthy options. I got the good planet Earth burger and it was very good and well put together along with the trio assorted kettle baked chips that were delicious. The service was awesome. They told me at 10:15 minute wait but it took me five minutes to get there from my other destination and the food was ready when I got there The place was set up nice and it was inside of a shopping mall plaza place. I would recommend this and get this again

I came by with my boyfriend for a date night and we loved our meal! It was both of our first time and we had made a reservation but did not really need one since it was quieter. There is also plenty of parking in the street. I got the go green lemonade and absolutely loved it! It was so refreshing and had a very fresh taste as well. I also got the vegan banh mi without tofu which was delicious. My only complaint was that I ordered the banh mi without jalapeños and then it came with them on, so I had to remove them myself before eating. Our waitress was very nice as well but didn't notice the accidental jalapeños as well. Overall great visit here though!

I picked up a quick lunch and ordered the house-made veggie burger with beans, sunflower & sesame seeds, cashews, & veggies on a GF bun! It was flavorful, filling, and loved the texture.

This review is from the perspective of a hungry vegetarian. I just arrived to my hotel and there was not much options at the restaurant and the front desk manager recommended me to go to this place even though I had to take a $25 Uber to come here, after arriving to the mall, I finally found this place and like the little takeout. But steps away so that there was a sit down. Place is spacious and decent menu. Fortunately, I was able to find options for me, including a asparagus soup, good tea and some delicious stirfry with vegetables and tofu. Is it pricey yes it's the only place around here other than sweet green for a hungry vegetarian . This place has a lot of people which is a good sign. I am glad the manager recommended me to come here.

Did not have the greatest meal. The burger did not taste too good, it was too sweet. Not sure what made it sweet, but it was on the sweeter side then the savory side. The fiberry smoothie was bland and the strawberry lemonade was not the best. It just looks like they added strawberry syrup to the lemonade. The tuna sandwich was good and simple. The salad was ok, what can go wrong with a salad.

    Delicious Cashew Chicken Salad Sandwich

Wow!!! This place was incredible and we didn't feel overly stuffed when we left after lunch. My hubby had the Mediterranean Vegetable soup and shared my cashew chicken salad sandwich, it was all deliciously fresh. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive. She was amazing, Cleanliness in a restaurant is crucial to use and Good Earth was meticulously clean. It had a great vibe. It was a rainy day but I hope next time we can enjoy their gorgeous patio area for dining.

I met a colleague here for a meeting and it was perfect. We had a reservation which was a good call as it was very busy over lunch on a weekday. We were immediately seated at a nice booth. I chose the Greek salad and I loved it. I did not add meat. I liked the olive spread and hummus I could pair with the pita bread. It was a perfect amount for lunch. Very happy with my choice. There were many items I wanted to try on the menu. So many healthy options. Have to come back again. Service was good. I found a parking space right on the front. All good.

I have been coming here for many years and I always crave the chicken salad sandwich! The service is always quick and everyone is very kind. It's usually busy but not overtly loud. Highly recommend if your craving a good sandwich and salad!

The Hilltop, somewhat west of the 50th and France downtown vibe, is the epitome of what a bar and grill should be. There are multiple TVs to watch games, the staff is fun, and the food is fantastic. My Tuna Melt was one of the best, and my wife's chopped salad was great. When I spied pecan pie on the menu, it was pig-out time. That pie was delicious. Everything at the Hilltop is homemade. We sat at the bar, and everyone was friendly. Conversations flowed from us to other patrons to the servers. Wow, that's what a local bar and grill should be about. Boxed holindaise sauce mix. Come on. $20 for eggs Benedict and you can't take 30 seconds to make real holindaise? And it wasn't a great mix. $50 for breakfast for two (with tip), you get held to a higher standard. 4 stars, not 5

Back to Pink Ivy. The service is quality. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The reservation policy may seem "strict", but if you can live with needing to provide a 24 cancel notice, I think you will find the service is good because the business doesn't get slammed by unexpected high demand. Wait person timing was off a tad when we first sat down. It felt a little rushed as we order our drinks and considered a starter. In fairness, a table of 16-20 followed us in so the wait person may have been doing us a favor. But it did influence my four star rating. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. Great care was taken when wait person checked for allergies. Not just asked, but noted and went to the kitchen to confirm. During the meal, flatware was changed out between courses, water refilled without disruption and the order arrived on time and all at one time. Our group enjoyed the halibut, salmon, and chicken bacon meatball items. Everyone loved their meals. A few of us ordered and split salads. We passed on desserts. The menu range may not be pages long, but all the usual suspects are there; salads, fish, poultry, beef, and pasta. And I know the chef rotates items on the menu. I encourage you to plan ahead. Reservations fill up days in advance. I think you'll find it worth the extra planning. PS my ratings are adjusted for the type of venue. These are not Michelin stars.

We know Mexican food, having traveled extensively throughout Mexico since the 1980s. Mexico City is a frequent destination now that we're older, and hopping around the country isn't as easy. Service was cold and perfunctory. We sat at the bar on this Sunday evening in August, and the female server was decidedly corporate, casting humanity aside for a robotic affect, half listening and half uninterested. Fun was vacuumed out of the room. Colita was not designed for laughter and frivolity. The place was crowded, but this was a restrained crowd on a Sunday night. Colita was more Linden Hills than Kingfield, if you know what I mean. Our favorite dish was the carnitas tacos. They had the flavors of Mexico. Our check was Minneapolis high, usually worth it, but maybe not at Colita. It was our last night living in the lakes area before we move to the North Loop. Colita was a good choice to remind us why we're moving. However, it was the wrong choice for a celebratory evening.

There were still some things we really enjoyed, though, and I'm glad we gave it a try. We started with the French Onion Soup, which was one of my favorite parts of the meal. I loved that they used croutons instead of one giant piece of bread. Much easier to eat--no fighting with a giant bread raft to get to my soup! The flavor was really nice too. I had the Bolognese Pappardelle, which was good, and my partner really enjoyed his Hanger Steak. He also tried the Garlic Herb Mushrooms, but those weren't really his thing. I ordered the N.A. Lela Punch, and that one surprised me. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it grew on me as I drank it. Apparently we just needed a little time to get acquainted. Dessert was an adventure. I decided to try the White Chocolate Panna Cotta because I'd never had panna cotta before. It was beautifully plated, but this is also how I learned panna cotta has a Jell-O-like texture... and I do not like Jell-O. That's definitely a me problem rather than a criticism of how it was prepared. At least I can officially say I've tried panna cotta! I ended up trying the Crème Brûlée as well. Unfortunately, that wasn't my favorite either. I usually love crème brûlée, but I prefer the custard very smooth and creamy, and this one was thicker than I personally like. My partner had the Chocolate Molten Cake and thought it was okay, but it wasn't a favorite for him either. Overall, Lela had some definite highlights--the French Onion Soup, Bolognese Pappardelle, and Hanger Steak especially--but we also had a few misses. I can understand why other people really enjoy it; it just wasn't quite the restaurant for us. And hey, every restaurant adventure can't end with a new favorite. That's half the fun of trying them all!
