    WILL ABSOLUTELY use Good Events again. Daniel and Otto were both very communicative, patient (we had sooo many questions and changes) and extremely responsive. Our company's ERG had an event with about 100 attendees and we needed everything from chairs, linens, umbrellas, tables (seated & cocktail) AV equipment (speakers, mics, power source etc.) and they we quick to set up + tear down (extra fee - and well worth it) and helpful and easy to talk to while they were on site. I was in the hospitality industry in a previous role, and thoroughly and enjoyed and appreciated Daniels customer service, attention and suggestions throughout the planning process. Thank you all at GE!

    My husband and I celebrated our daughter's sweet 16, and we had a very positive experience! I communicated with Daniel and Otto. They answered all my questions. The day of the event I provided a layout of our set up, they followed up and set up 200 chairs. The chairs looked beautiful! Thank you Good Events!

    Good Events is awesome! From Ana, at the office who helped secure a last minute 20x20 tent to the team who came and set up our tent at 8AM and then tore down at 6PM as scheduled. We needed a last minute tent for my daughter party and, Ana did a great job with communicating with us and checking to see what they had available. She gave a good tip about making sure to check in with the park to confirm what's the approved size we can have at the park. Thanks again, Good Events for the last minute rental!

    I needed a cool water slide jumper for my dtr's 7th birthday. Stumbled upon GE after contacting a few in the area. I chose to hire GE bc of their quick response time, transparent fees and professional set up and delivery. My dtr and her cousins had a blast. We ordered the lava slide and the basketball game. I'm definitely going to order again from GE!!

    Needed to rent chairs and linens for a backyard wedding. Good events had really good prices. They also had the chairs and color linens I wanted. Placing an order and payment was very easy. Contract was easy to read the price breakdown wasn't confusing. I changed the color linens because my decor wouldn't have stood out and it was very easy to adjust that. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is there was 2 oil stains on the linens. I was able to cover it with my decor so that was ok. Also I picked delivery time slot 8 am to 12 pm and they literally came at 12 pm to deliver. Which is fine but I was like are they coming? I had to call to make sure. Also on pick up day our time frame again was 8am to 12pm but this time it was already 12:39pm and no one came. I had to call to found out the status. Its just a courtesy to let the customer know if your running late or etc. I had an appointment at 1pm to be at. Also some chairs were pretty banged up and scratched but overall not bad in the photos.

    This family owned party rental company is my go-to one stop shop. I rent their jumpers for every single one of my events. They have a wide selection and they are very clean. As a matter of fact, they clean and sanitize them upon delivery and during pick up. The quality of their jumpers are different than others I have rented in the past. Their delivery and pick up times are always at exact time. Extremely friendly workers. Their chairs and tables are clean and have no dirt or grass stains. Their rental process is super easy and they even give additional discounts for returning customers. I highly recommend them.

    Outstanding business and customer service. Since the very beginning of my wedding planning process, Good Event rentals has been so amazing. They responded to all of my questions quickly, the communication was super professional and friendly, and they accommodated all of my request and have over exceeded my expectations. For my wedding, we rented their arch, photo mirror, and up lighting. All of which was delivered on time, and set up to perfection. The owner Ana, was a pleaser to speak to and responded quickly to my questions. Otto is an employee and was there the day of the wedding to set up and to attend our photo mirror. Super nice and professional man who took the time to customize our picture layout. Thank you Good Events for being so unbelievably amazing to work with and for making my wedding so beautiful!!

    I needed to rent a tent and some tables for my Christmas party. I found Good Events on yelp. I decided to give them a try based of their reviews. I was very happy that I was able to do everything online it made the process easy and stress free. I liked the fact that I could see what I was going to be getting. I placed and paid for my order online I called a few days later just to make sure that my order had gone through and that I was scheduled for the date needed. The person on the phone did confirm my order and delivery time frame. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phoneas well as the crew members that came to do the set up were very polite and professional. I will definitely be using this company for any future events. March 24th 2018 I hired Good Events for another party I was having and honestly I am such a happy customer Both occasions have been a great experience with this company!

Based on this experience, we will not be collaborating with her on future events. On the last project we did together the court ruled in her favor, largely because we were the ones who drafted the contract (rookies) that's exactly what the judge said. However, there is plenty of evidence showing that the terms of the contract were not fully completed. It is also true that several of our vendors expressed difficulty working with you, along with others involved in the project. If you would like any proof to support this, there's plenty.

My husband and I had already found a venue prior to hiring Justina. After we found the venue, we were completely at a loss with where to start with the planning as it was overwhelming. But Justina removed this burden completely and she was so patient with us. One trait of Justina that we greatly appreciate is her transparency. Before we signed a contract with her, she was straightforward with us about her giving birth in the middle of the wedding planning process. Despite having to give labor in the middle of planning, Justina's continued to impress us with her clear communication on timelines and expectations. She only stepped away from about 2 weeks after labor and resumed with us; just WOW, we wanted to tell her that she should rest more. During the planing process, Justina handles all of the timelines, organization, and paperwork; which saved my husband and I so much time! Justina was especially a godsend for me, as I was working full-time and wrapping up my master's degree in the same year. We loved how she is prepared with templates for us to follow and takes notes of our every meeting. She is also extremely efficient and was conscious of our budget, and tries her best to help us stay within the budget range we specified. Justina has a lot of connections, so her recommendations were helpful and often helped us save time on researching more vendors. Furthermore, Justina is always willing to come out to meet in person when necessary, and she enjoys choosing fabrics and equipment for the wedding with you -- which we thought was so nice. One thing we also noticed is that all the vendors we worked with also had endless praises for Justina. When it came to actual wedding day, we were surprised by how smooth our wedding event ran. We were prepared to yolo things if things got out of handle, since we have heard a lot of stories from friends about how some of their weddings did not go as planned. Our wedding was a more complicated one as we crammed a lot of events during reception. As the bride, I had one outfit change, we had 7 toast speeches from family/friends, we played the shoe game, and had 3 musical performances prior to opening up the dance floor. Honestly, we did not expect to be able to go through with everything, but Justina made sure we were good on time and we were able to do everything we planned! We were so happy with our wedding and it was everything we expected. Thanks to Justina, we did not feel nearly as stressed out as we initially thought. Due to Justina's immense experience and professionalism, a daunting planning turned into a piece of cake. I would HIGHLY recommend Justina to everyone to plan their events. This review is seriously long overdue as our wedding was way back in October 2022 at Casa Real (my apologies for the delay!) Early on in our engagement, my husband and I were ambivalent on the idea of hiring a wedding planner. We had already chosen several of our main vendors and thought we could save money and handle planning our wedding on our own but we were mistaken.  We were soon overwhelmed with all the details and started to have decision-making fatigue so we decided to look for a wedding planner. After quite a bit of research we chose Justina/JL Events and we are so grateful we did! Her services were definitely worth the investment. We highly recommend Justina for wedding planning and coordination. She is professional but personable, trustworthy, and very easy to work with. She had great communication from the start and all throughout the preparation for our big day; her responsiveness was amazing. During our first meeting, Justina quickly identified our needs and vision and created a detailed timeline for our wedding planning. She helped us narrow down design choices and accompanied us to meetings with vendors. We were impressed by her organization and proactive approach! Having Justina as our planner helped alleviate much of the stress that comes with planning a large wedding (we had about 260 guests.) There were several instances in which we were frustrated dealing with unresponsive vendors but Justina was great at facilitating communication and even helped us find better companies to work with. Justina helped us stay on track during rehearsal day and was an expert problem-solver. She coordinated with our vendors and the staff at Casa Real with ease and was patient with us and our large wedding entourage. On the day of our wedding, Justina and her assistant Dana took such great care of us and we were able to enjoy our wedding celebration! Justina truly demonstrated her expertise with event coordination. We really appreciated her taking so many behind-the-scenes photos and videos, too!     Great addition to downtown Hayward. Perfect for kids - it a smaller version of chuck e cheese…read more I love this place and want it to succeed. Hayward is an underdog city - and this is such a unique space. If I was the mayor of Hayward I would shine a light on this place as I think its an important piece of the city. I live just 2 blocks away and have never gotten any note on my front door or advertisement or coupon. I think that is a shame. If I was head of marketing for this business I would place a flyer under every door mat in a 5 or 10 block radius. This is a missed opportunity for core customers. There are new high rise buildings also popping up - a huge senior building - why not a special flyer offering seniors discounts if they show up for an early bird dinner? Often times you can also tell if kids live in any given home in the neighborhood. There are kiddie pools, tiny shoes left out front, bikes thrown around in the front yard - these homes should be targeted even more aggressively with fliers and some sort of incentive to come in. Another huge problem with this place is the lack of emphasis on ease of 'searchability' of the place. I had lived so close since 2016 and had not known about the place until maybe 2020 during the pandemic. How is that possible? It's all about not knowing this is an arcade. Sector 19 doesn't mean anything to me. It should be called 'Sector 19 Arcade' so that people can find it with a Google or Waze search. The arcade is clean and bright and fun for little kids. Its a safe place too - where parents can hang outside more in the restaurant part and not worry they wandered off - there is only one way out. The arcade needs to be front and center - this is why people come. Pizza House or Susie Qs have no competition in this arena.... so lean in on this. I will say that a Susie Qs has an edge with food quality - so again, more reason to make the family friendly atmosphere the center of attention.
