I've been tragically nearsighted since 3rd grade, and since then I've seen at least 5 different optometrists. I've been Dr. Gozini's patient for 3 years and she's the best optometrist I've ever had. Now, what makes a good optometrist? Expertise: this is a big one. My previous optometrists kept upping my prescription. I guess that makes sense, because a higher prescription means a sharper image, but the consequence is that the eye gets lazy (and therefore more nearsighted) Dr. Gozini took the opposite approach - periodically dialing down the prescription to train my eyes out of their laziness. It's been working - less eye strain, fewer headaches, and better ability to focus. Responsiveness: Dr. Gozini always made a point of explaining what she was doing, and why. Even my dumbest questions ("what's that shiny doohicky for?") were met with thorough and clear answers. Staff: Her staff is always bright and friendly. They're easy to work with to coordinate appointment times, contact lens/glasses orders, insurance, and payments. A lot of medical offices feel kind of stiff an impersonal, especially when it comes to handling payments and insurance, but the folks here really put in extra effort to help you out and explain things clearly. Matteo in particular is just an awesome dude. Environment: this place is classy as hell. Like, just look at the pictures. Every thing is shiny and smells nice (even the bathroom!). Love, just love these folks! We took our dad's eyeglasses in because one of the nose pads was missing. They kindly replaced both nose pads in a timely manner. And, even though they were busy with customers, they did not want to charge us for helping us. If you want a great customer service experience, this is the place to go. They are nice to everyone. After reading all the good reviews, I was shocked at how unprofessional, dismissive, and unknowledgeable Dr. Janszyan was. Her medical knowledge and understanding of the basic contacts her office offers was superficial at best, and her manner swung from bored to extremely short and interrogative. Dr. Gozini spends as much time as required to make sure everything is perfect. When I first saw her a year ago she found that my prescription was significantly too high. My previous doctor had left it unchanged for 7 years. The office is a bit small but they have a large selection of frames, including the latest high-end. The free parking is limited to a few spaces but if you call 15 mins before they will try to reserve a space for you. read more

I needed a new optometrist when I moved to Brentwood. So, of course, I checked Yelp. I was so glad I found this place. Right up the street and the doctor is so so very nice. I have some weird stuff with my vision and she took a lot of time figuring out what would work best for me. She gave me a number of lens to try while I was there, too. I ordered glasses, which was one of my main reasons for needing to go. The staff is super friendly and they helped me pick out frames, processed the order and I was good to go. I was worried the prices would be off the charts, being Brentwood and all, but they were reasonable and took my insurance. You can spend a lot or a little, just like anywhere. There is parking in the lot there, but I walked this time. While she wasn't a fan of monthly lenses, the doctor did go with them for me in the end. She gave me some dailies to try as well. read more

She explained everything thoroughly and i like that she is conservative in her prescription - she let me keep my contact prescription so that my eyes do not become too stressed. My insurance sent me a list of providers, and Good Eye Optometry's Yelp reviews stood out to me. I chose to make an appointment and am so thrilled that I did. Dr. Gozini is lovely and helpful. I was lucky enough to not have much change in my vision since I had last gone to visit an eye doctor (about 2-3 years prior), and she aided me in finding the perfect lens enhancements for my lifestyle. I had gone in with the intention of getting a new pair of Skaga frames and was a little disappointed they did not carry the brand - but the disappointment lasted maybe 5 minutes at most, because Matteo went above and beyond to find the perfect glasses for me. He was so patient with me while I tried on frame after frame. Then, he plucked a pair I would've never even thought about trying on. And they were PERFECT. I'm so in love with my new Garrett Leight eyeglasses frames. But the fun didn't stop there. I was in a "treat yo self" mood and decided- I need new prescription sunglasses too. Dr. Farah is one of the best optometrist in LA by far. I was convinced of that when she refracted my partner's eyes which are very difficult as he has very heavy and complicated correction. I visited Good Eye for the first time 8 months ago, January 2017. Dr. Gozini is the best optometrist I've ever had. She is very current in all aspects of health care as well as optometry. A short visit with her has improved many aspects of my health as well as sporting the best glasses I've ever owned. I haven't been able to see this well since my eyesight started to fade 10 years ago. I was impressed by how up to date the equipment was in their office. It made the exam process fast and painless and mine was quite accurate. Everyone is wonderful. I would not call it moderately priced. It's expensive to me. But it's worth what you pay. I got the frames I wanted and got very high quality lenses. Those things cost money no matter where you buy them. I know, I did my research. Even if I bought the same glasses online and ordered lenses through an online source, I would not have saved much. I would have had a lot to lose, though. When the sunglasses I ordered weren't exactly perfect to me, Good Eye did the lenses over for no cost in two days. Online it would have meant living with what I ordered or paying twice to get it right. Don't risk it if you are getting transitional lenses. Two pairs of glasses later, I love this place more the longer I wear them. It's so hard to find dedicated committed doctors these days. I'm grateful. Thanks to all of you at Good Eye. read more

I just got done with my appointment with Dr. Ani Janszyan. She was very personable and talked out everything that was happening with my routine eye exam. I used imaging technology to see behind my eyes rather than dilate them, which is technology i've never experienced before. Dr. Janszyan walked me through those results and taught me about seeing the clear veins, which is the only part of the body where you can do that. I went to see Dr. Gozini this morning and it was one of the best Optometry experiences I have had! I have worn glasses and contacts for 9 years and have seen several optometrists. Dr. Gozini really cares about your eye health and well being over all. She took the time to figure out my habits related to eye correction and how often I wear my contacts. She also explained the issues with my eyes very well and how we were going to correct them. I really appreciated getting this extra information. She also is told me I dont need Lasik while other doctors have said I should consider it and what she said made sense! She isnt looking to make extra money off you she is looking out for you. I have worn eyeglasses for 50 years,all day and never had a problem with the frames. On 3/30/16, I bought Alain Mikli [very expensive] frames and progressive lens [very expensive] On 5/13/17, I took back these glasses [which I need to see] because the frames broke at a seam [they are 2 different colors]. I asked to have replacement frames but was told they were no longer available. I asked to receive comparable frames. After endless phone calls I was advised by Sarah Brown, office coordinator, the 1 year warranty expired. I was offered to "come in and meet with the owner to discuss a possible discount.". Otherwise they offered to "repair the frames". I did not feel I should have to spend money on new frames when the product was faulty. I agreed to get my glasses "repaired". When I called to find out when I could have my glasses back, I was advised "we have sent your glasses for new lenses at no cost because they have a scratch". They did not have a scratch when I took them in, I didn't ask for this, and now I had to wait longer to get my glasses back that I need to see. On 7/8/17 I got my glasses back. read more
