I was so excited to try this place and I was very disappointed. Pros: The service is great. The cashier was very nice and even offered me a drink for my longer than expected wait. I really appreciated that. It was also very clean and I loved the pictures inside. Cons: The food wasn't as good as it looked. The mozzarella sticks don't really taste like regular mozzarella sticks. The batter is different and not what I expected. The pizza was a 5/10 if I'm being honest. Honestly, every item tasted sweet in a way and I'm not sure why. Also it was so hot in there. I understand we're going through a heatwave but why was it hotter inside than outside?? There's no way that's ok for those guys to work in this kind of environment. If I could I'd give their pizza 6 stars!! I'm just amazed at how delicious their pizza is and just happy it's so close to home. As a West Whittier local I'm all about supporting small businesses, eating local and boosting our local economy but this place would have my business even if it was the next city over. The pizza is that good! I tried their pepperoni with mushroom since it's my wife's favorite and it's honestly the best pizza I've had in years. I'm a fan of pepperoni and mushroom pizzas so getting a pizza which has tons of toppings, robust flavors and delicious from the first to last bite I'm very pleased. I found the sauce to be perfectly seasoned and the crust was moist and crunchy in all the right places and still hot by the time i got home. A few things I found interesting was their local specials on Instagram, their wide variety but not complex menu and decent space for dining in. I can honestly say this place fills that pizza void I've had in my heart for a while since I'm very picky when it comes to quality and ingredients. Alrighty, brutal honesty time. When this spot opened up to replace the burger place, I was stoked. Who doesn't love pizza? Especially so close to where I live? We're really lacking in a reliably good pizza joint. Well, I'll be up front and say I'm a loyalist to a certain spot in Montebello and have been for the past sixteen or so years, so I am a tough audience to please. My mom picked up and order to go and she said that service was good and the people working there were kind, which I always a appreciate and when she arrived home and I took the boxes and bags from her and opened everything up, I could sort of tell something was off. The pizza seemed to have a lot of crust to pie ratio, and it was burnt black. I know some people like that, but I'm not one of them. The toppings looked good and the sauce looked promising (I'd read that they have a good recipe for their dough and their sauce), but first bite in, there wasn't much to write home about. It was bland and the dough really didn't have anything different aside from places like dominos. We also ordered some wings, which didn't have much meat on them and the sauce was pretty standard. The sampler, which came with French fries, zucchini fries, and cheese sticks was surprising because I could instantly tell that the zucchini fries were frozen and the cheese sticks just crumbled in my hand. I'd say that there is potential here, given the brand and imaging. I think it is a great concept, but as far as the culinary component, there is much room for improvement. I really hope that some improvements can be made, because it would be so exciting to have a great neighborhood pizza joint. read more

We were so excited to try this place as it's right down the street from our house. I went directly to the website and called the phone number listed on that menu. No one answered, and we tried a few times, but kept getting the automated message saying the voice mailbox hadn't been set up. So we tried the number on Yelp (it's a different number) and got that same message. Tried again a few minutes later and someone answered. He wasn't super friendly, but whatever, we were still excited to try it. We went to pickup our order expecting it to be really busy due to the unanswered phones, but it didn't seem to be. Unfortunately, we ordered a pepperoni sausage and not only didn't get the sausage, but hardly any pepperoni (see photo). We looked at the receipt upon pick up which showed we'd been charged for the sausage, but didn't actually open the box to double check. Pizza was just ok. Mozzarella sticks were just ok too. As someone mentioned before, not typical breading but more of a fried fish type batter, just fyi. read more
