Comforting Italian-style deli vibes with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The chicken pesto pizza was definitely the highlight--great flavor and a solid choice if you're craving something hearty. The fettuccine Alfredo, however, fell a bit short; the sauce seemed to be missing that rich, creamy depth, and while the noodles were decent, it's not a dish I'd recommend. On the bright side, the service was excellent and the employees were incredibly friendly. Plenty of clean, open seating made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a good spot with a few standout items and great hospitality.

Basic food slow service, after pandemic it's all down hill from here folks. Pizza is ok crust always gets burned. Better off at other Italian restaurants

1 star for dry pastrami on dry crunchy bread only. I wouldn't even call it a hot pastrami cuz it's warm. Other sandwiches are better. If you want a hot juicy pastrami loaded on a soft French roll with pepper corn. Go to tams down the street. Delicious

Whenever I'm in town, got to grab something at Lascaris. Their website makes it easy to order pick up too. Food is always great and service friendly. Can't really ask for anything more. Large sandwich can definitely feed two, so really good value too.

Ive been coming here since I was born. The sandwiches are especially good. I love the roast beef, the meatball, and chicken parm subs. I also love the pasta salad! Its the best. I got to try some pesto pasta woth sausage and tiramisu at the Booktoberfest. It was delicious, but only made me want to go back and enjoy my favorite sandwiches. I will be back soon. Its a casual little deli that offers beer and wine.

Ask the Community - Lascari's Deli & Bakery

Is this the same family that owned a restaurant in Alhambra during the 80's?

    How many slices for large?

Do you have gluten-free options available?

Yes the have gluten free pizza dough and cauliflower pizza crust as well as pasta! The cauliflower pizza is very very good!!

How many servings does the party pan pizza have?

There are 40 square slices of pizza in each party pan!

    Do they sell pizza dough?

Yes!! But I recommend using it the same day you buy it!

Is there anything even vegan here?

Not really but they do have vegetarian options

How is the pastrami pizza compared to the Downey pizza company?

I didn't know they had pastrami pizza, but all of the meats on their sandwiches and pizzas are on point, so i'm guessing they make a pretty mean pastrami pizza.

What do the sell at the deli? I'm wondering if they sell meatballs, marinara sauce and parmesan cheese all individually to use at home?

They sell everything you mention and also various salads (pasta, potato, etc), several types of fresh olives, sliced meats, sliced cheeses, pizza, sandwiches, gelato, etc

    Do they have lunch special?

    Yes. They vary and change.

I've eyeballed this beautifully nestled restaurant several times over the last few months…read more Time and time again I said "I've really got to check that place out". Well, that time FINALLY came! My sister and I were hanging out reminiscing over our late mother together, on her birthday and decided to get Italian food (her favorite). We both agreed Four Bricks would be THE SPOT! Needless to say, we were so right! We were greeted and sat with no reservation at around 4:30pm, thankfully there was no wait at that time. However, the restaurant quickly filled up. Our server was very attentive but not over bearing. For our appetizer, we chose bruschetta. 12/10 The perfectly dressed tomatoes and basil sat on a pillowy burrata cloud and melted in your mouth. YUMMMM!! I opted for the penne ala vodka, while she chose the bolognese. 10/10 The penne w/vodka sauce had a surprising hint of spice that was decadent and savory. The bolognese had a slightly creamier taste without the spice and was equally as flavorful. Finally, we ordered the lemon butter cake. 10/10 When I tell you this cake was delicious ... woahhh!! It was a nice crisp butter cake but the lemon zest paired with the coulis and fruit gave the perfect balance. We were told the restaurant would be closing and that it was the final day of service. Made us both bummed to hear since the hospitality and true Italian food with homemade pasta was such a delight. Impeccable place overall! Side note: There's a fast food style concept this place operates at also in Whittier, I hope they remain in business so I can get my pizza and panini fix there!

Yooooooooooooooooo! I had NEVER heard of this place before, but my family ended up coming here…read moreafter my uncle's funeral, and honestly, what a great find! We were specifically looking for somewhere with a great price, good food, and a private room where our family could sit together and spend some time after the service. This place checked all the boxes! The Pollo Al Limone was easily one of my favorites. It's chicken breast with capers, shallots, and a lemon sauce, and the chicken was cooked PERFECTLY--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The lemon sauce had that perfect balance of tanginess without overpowering the chicken, and the capers added a nice little salty kick. Definitely a dish I'd order again. The Tortellini Di Ricotta E Spinaci Alla Panna was another favorite at the table. The tortellini was filled with ricotta cheese and paired with mushrooms, spinach, and a creamy sauce. Super comforting and rich without being too heavy, and the combination of the mushrooms and spinach worked really well with the cream sauce. This was one of those dishes where everyone kept taking "just one more bite." We also tried the Rigatoni Bolognese, which came with rigatoni and a meat sauce. The only thing I noticed was that there weren't any protein in the dish. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just something worth mentioning. The service was honestly amazing. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which made a big difference considering we were there with a large family after a funeral. The staff made us feel comfortable and never rushed us, and the private room was a HUGE plus for our group. The restrooms were also clean, which is always something I pay attention to when reviewing a restaurant. As far as the ambiance goes, the private room itself was pretty simple--there wasn't really any music or entertainment playing--but honestly, that worked perfectly for our situation. We were able to sit together, talk, laugh, reminisce, and spend time with each other without having to compete with loud music or a crowded dining room. We basically set the tone ourselves. Overall, I'm really glad my family discovered this place. What started as a restaurant we chose because of the private room and reasonable pricing turned into a surprisingly great meal with some really delicious dishes. The Pollo Al Limone and Tortellini were definitely the standouts for me, and the friendly service made the entire experience even better. Definitely a place I'd consider coming back to, especially for a family gathering or special occasion where having a private space is important. Sometimes the best restaurant discoveries are the ones you never even knew existed!

This is a tough review to write because it appears to be a family-run business, but hopefully the criticism is taken constructively. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt unwelcoming. There didn't seem to be a host or anyone greeting customers. We stood there somewhat aimlessly while employees behind the counter looked over at us without really acknowledging us or explaining where to go. One particularly strange thing we noticed was customers being turned away at the door and told there would be a wait, despite several tables appearing to be open. Then, about five minutes later, another couple walked in and was seated without any issue. Maybe there was an explanation for it, but from a customer's perspective, it was confusing and came across as very inconsistent. Unfortunately, the meal didn't improve things. The food was very bland and lacked the flavor I would expect from a good Italian restaurant. The bread we received tasted stale and was noticeably burnt. For comparison, I would honestly put the overall food quality below what you would expect from Olive Garden. Table service was almost nonexistent. Getting assistance throughout the meal was difficult, and even trying to pay the bill and leave felt like a journey. What concerned me even more was seeing several other customers spoken to in a way that came across as unnecessarily rude. I really wanted to understand why this place has such strong reviews, but based on our experience, I simply can't recommend it. Better hospitality, more consistent treatment of customers, more attentive service, and improvements to the food would go a long way.
