Unfortunately, there was an uncomfortable situation outside in the parking lot involving an older woman approaching customers to purchase their newly purchased NeeDohs and taking pictures of people waiting in line without permission. This was not related to the shop itself, but I wanted to mention it so others attending future squishy drops can be aware. Kids need to understand that when you walk into someone's place of business--or even their home--you should be respectful and ask for permission or assistance before touching things. Again, thank you both for all the great recommendations and for being so kind about my pup, who was on a leash and wearing a diaper to ensure there were zero accident possibilities. Our pup loved you guys! She's usually a little shy at first, but she walked right up to both of you. Dogs know. But a while back they had a HUGE selection of IDW Transformers back issues. I went crazy and got a bunch of them whenever I stopped by to pick up the current Skybound run. All the staff is super nice and genuinely super kind! I've had no bad experiences here and they're all super knowledgeable about the things I'm interested in buying. He took the time to walk with us around the store, answering questions, opening cases and getting to know us. My son walked out with his first Mighty Ducks figure and my Dad started a new collection of Street Sharks. I am very on edge when taking a kid (9 years old) into a store like this as it can be overwhelming, but as soon as Mike interacted with my son, the stress went right away. We ended up buying the Turtle Team Up bundle and several boosters. They let us stick around and sleeve up our new cards after hours (there was a tournament wrapping up) and we got to hang out and observe the staff's shenanigans. Genuinely funny and generous people! Oh yeah, they had some extra goodies from celebrating a birthday and sent us home with some cookies and treats. Totally unplanned and stumbled on this local gem and we are so happy we did. For one, I felt the staff here was the nicest and most helpful, and unlike the other two, this one actually had 3 staff members helping people, while the other locations usually only have 1-2 staff members around, which makes it really difficult to ask questions since these places can get really busy. Also, like the other locations, we went to try and sell our used Legos. What I liked about this location is that you have make an appointment if you're selling a fair number of Legos, so you're not waiting around since it's not uncommon for others to come in and also trying to sell their used Legos. When we got there, we were greeted and were even taken a little earlier than our appointment. Also, we went to another Bricks and Minifigs and got substantially more than what was offered at the other location. This will definitely be our "go-to" Bricks and Minfigs from here on!
