There are a million places that are better to get a slice or a sub, but I also feel like I've never been really let down here too. Never again. Sub D lost a customer. I waited an hour and a half for a double order of wings tonight - a Sunday - and they appear to have been cooked twice, very little sauce, the meat was dry and on a few, the bones were showing. One was an inch and a half long, maybe a piece of a wing? read more

The food is okay, the service is fast, but in the last 5 months, we were twice overcharged for delivery orders and had to call and get the second charge refunded. They did do the refunds promptly, but I would not have known if I hadn't scrutinized my bank account carefully. The fact that it happened twice makes me wonder if this is more than just a mistake. The pizza crust is not great, and is pretty tasteless, so I can't recommend that. If you order and pay with a card, make sure you're not overcharged. read more

Hands down the best place to get a sub in the area. My favorite is the royal. Sausage, capicola, shredded lettuce, chopped (not sliced) onions and tomatoes. Everyone should try a Sub D royal sub at least once. Even a turkey is amazing from here. Gotta be their sub oil and seasoning they put on them. Tried the pizza once and it was basic. There's several better places to get pizza from in Lockport. Bonus points for the guy running the place. He's always friendly and efficient no matter how busy. My favorite place for subs in Lockport! Well, usually that is. Recently we ordered our favorite steak and cheese sound with mayo oil, lettuce , tomato lite onion and provolone cheese . When my husband bright it home no oil and the tiniest bit of mayo I keep these things on hand but still annoying, I'm not sure what happened to the teeny tiny chopped onions?? We have gone there for years and loved their subs, however tonite we had the worst pizza we have ever had anywhere !! First of all the woman who answered barely gave me time to complete my order and when it arrived the crust was so thin which would have been fine except it tasted like what you think cardboard would taste like. Was so tough Barely chew it The sauce and the toppings might as well not been on it A couple pieces of pepperoni thrown on each piece. The other 3 toppings sprinkled on just enough to see them. This is one of my favorite sub shops. Unfortunately, it is no where near where I live, so don't get to have their food often.. Therefore, anytime I am in the Lockport area and it's meal time, that's my go to. Have stopped many times over the years. My most recent visit definitely reminded me to do a review. The Chicken Souvlaki sub was outstanding. Chose this as it's not a standard sub shop choice. First, as always, the roll was perfectly toasted. The amount of chicken on the sandwich was more than adequate. And, the Greek dressing and feta were served on the side. 2 small cups of each. Being able to add separately was perfect. I split the sub with a friend, and one of us chose to use the dressing heavily and one sparingly, on the side made it perfect for each of us. I also happened to notice the pizza price as I was further perusing the menu while awaiting my food - very reasonably priced compared to most pizza joints. Can't comment on the pizza though, since never had it. All in all, I wish they were closer to me. Definitely would be a regular customer! read more

So living in Lockport I have often heard people talk about Sub D. I had never visited this place until recently, and I am glad I did! I am a huge fan of a chicken finger sub, and they do not disappoint. I am a simple sub kind of guy, but if you do it right I will come back, time and time again. I haven't eaten at the restaurant however it looks very clean, and inviting, but I prefer to be home and comfortable enjoying a good movie or show with my sub. The subs are portioned right, perfect ratio of chicken fingers to sub roll, as well as lettuce, onion and blue cheese. The rolls are toasted which is a great fact part to me. Each bite is the perfect combination of all the components with of course the usual mess from a chicken finger sub. My wife is a fan of the steak subs, and that has been her go to anytime subs comes up. Again, super tasty, filled with the right amount of ingredients. Every time we have ordered the food has been hot, fresh and ready for us when we go to pick it up. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are in Lockport and looking for a delicious sub! read more

WORST STINGER SUB EVER and more expensive than anywhere else. DONT GO HERE. More lettuce than chicken fingers and the steak was dry as shit. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. Amazingly delicious is more accurate than just sub delicious. If I could make a recommendation to anyone who is a true foodie like myself try the stinger sub, BBQ on the fingers, with Blue cheese, lettuce and tomatoes! It's to die for. The subs here are so amazing. I had a chicken finger sub (medium sauce and blue cheese) and Mom had tuna (my taste test found the tuna to be a little too fishy for my preference but it is fish after all). Both were excellent but MESSY! I love the way the lettuce is shredded and the rolls are crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. The employees here are really pleasant and friendly. Since we came in December, the entire dining room was decorated for Christmas. Sub Delicious is a locally owned gem. The food is amazing and the people are friendly. Does it get better than that?! My father in law used to eat here all the time years ago so this business is obviously doing something right. My husband and I stopped in for food after a show. It's a little more expensive than chain places, but you get fries instead of chips and a bottle of soda instead of a cup so it's a good value, if not the healthiest option. The restaurant is clean and attractive, and service is excellent. I wasn't crazy about the fries though because they were battered. Definitely be back for subs, though. read more

Always been a fan of Sub D. In my opinion some of the best pizza in Lockport. On a recent order we opted for the large pizza with 30 wings, we split the sauce between mild and BBQ lightly sauced. Pizza was delicious as always, great flavor from the sauce, just the right amount of cheese and crust cooked perfectly. Wings- mild wings were also perfect just enough sauce to coat them and cooked crisp. However the BBQ, while cooked well, were drenched in so much sauce they were practically rendered inedible. For 15 wings there must of been a half gallon of sauce, this after asking for light sauce. While a minor setback. I'm sure it was not understood lightly sauced. I'll continue to order but be sure they understand my order completely in the future. read more

My standards are not unreasonable (I mean come on - I don't expect more than I paid for). But WOW. 2 subs, both inedible. NOTHING was recognizable but the bread, open it, smell it, taste it. Unidentifiable and disgusting. Legit GROSS. Also got pizza & wings - again - not expecting too much and at least they're of 7-11 quality.
