The Bad Apple Matcha tastes very sweet & like cinnamon. The drink is super unique so i'm glad I got to try it. So far, this is the only apple matcha i've ever had! I enjoyed it very much, however it does not have that classic strong earthy taste that matchas usually have. The LA Latte is GREAT! I ordered mine with Almond milk, which I think is super important to make it taste good. It also has a taste of cinnamon, but it does not over power the coffee. Both times I have walked over from my sister's apartment, I have gotten the Damn Good Latte. Inspired by Dale Cooper of Twin Peaks, this delicious -- and well balanced -- beverage tastes like cherry pie. It even comes with crumble on top! Decided I needed a little pick me up after having an all day meeting close by and came across this super cute local coffee shop! I went back and forth with wha I wanted to order but eventually decided to go with the Bad Apple Matcha. I asked for half sweetener so the taste was a bit mild for my liking, but I was pleasantly surprised with the few apple bits that were in my drink. Yum! It was a cute shop with some items for sale, their menu is pretty simple, some areas for sitting, but it came to me like a cute grab n go, hang out with the community and go on your way kind of shop. Super cute! I wow the drink wasn't as expensive as it was, but I'm happy to support local business. Getting oat milk also added to the cost a bit. The staff was friendly and the drink came out extra hot just as I liked it, and wasn't too long of a wait either. I think they were getting ready to close up for the day. Small, cozy, local coffee shop with some good coffee! In just a couple of visits, I noticed the staff easily recognized regulars and knew their orders. Always a nice flex. As a newbie, I tried their LA latte with almond milk and it was perfect. Paired it with one of their croissants, which they kindly heat up for you, for both visits. First time trying Good Intentions Coffee on Wilshire in LA and it definitely won't be my last. The moment I walked in, I was enveloped in the most wonderful, earthy aroma that was so much more than just a coffee shop smell. It was complex and full of flavor, and I immediately knew I was in for a treat. I was honestly a bit overwhelmed trying to decide what to order, as everything on the menu sounded amazing. I finally settled on a chai latte, and it was the perfect choice. It was brewed fresh and smelled incredible, with chai flavors that were absolutely spot on. Drinking it felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day, it was smooth, comforting, and had the most delightful light kick. I was so impressed that I even looked up the ingredients for a chai latte, only to realize that while the ingredients might be simple, the frothy and smooth texture of this drink could only be achieved by a truly masterful hand. Stayed nearby for a work trip so this was the nearest coffee shop to me each morning and I was not disappointed. Firstly, the staff was so friendly each day and made it a great first stop for my morning. On top of that, the inside is decorated really cute and I loved the friendly ambiance. Good Intentions is a very small coffee shop but they roast their own coffee (off site) and make the best espresso-based drinks in the area hands down (and I've tried most of the coffee shops in the area). Prices are reasonable for LA - about $8 for an iced oat latte and about the same for a matcha latte. Staff are super friendly and of course the shop is very dog friendly as well, snapping pics of your canine friends that come and visit. Only downside is limited hot food options (no kitchen as far as I can tell), and many of the pastries were sold out by 8:30. They also sell their own coffee (about $20/12oz bag) and had some that were freshly roasted the day before - can't get coffee that fresh anywhere else! read more

I got their Pandan matcha latte (8/10) and it did not disappoint. Such a cute little coffee shop with cute decor. There's a good amount of space inside to do work, but the tables aren't too big. The matcha I bought was priced like any other LA matcha latte, but I'd say it's worth the price! It's just the right amount of sweetness. Stumbled upon this boutique coffee spot after an appointment nearby. I had ordered the almond croissant and PS5 (which is their version of PSL). The almond croissant, warmed up, was outstanding 5/5 -- it was flaky and not too sweet. PS5 was good 3/5 -- loved the spice, also not too sweet. Even though the coffee was only good, the service and overall friendliness of the staff made the food & drink taste much better. Love this cute place. They just opened on September 9, 2024. I came to pick up an order. Sara was super sweet and gave me an extra bag of pastries and offered me a FREE coffee. It was a cold brew which was delicious. I got home and I really like their coffee strudel slice loaf. The pumpkin cake square to me was way too cinnamon-ie. Parking is street but I did find. Lot and used it. Not sure if it's ok to park there. It was after hours. Didn't want to be like A-holes who think they are privileged to park on the red or double park. Bad Apple Matcha (5/5): brainchild of barista Maitlyn, this matcha with apple cider is a unique mix that I would've never thought to try but glad we did. Upon entry you'll be greeted well and in addition get to start off your morning with cool vibes and good tunes. I really like the wall of vinyls and paintings/pictures on the adjacent walls that complement the simplistic, yet engaging atmosphere. All of this combined translates extensively well to the coffee and enhances the experience of each cup. I'd recommend the Americano and their pour over, which oftentimes is a rotating selection of beans from South American countries. If you feel like brewing your own Good Intentions at home, I'd recommend the Dark Side Blend which was reasonably priced. read more

I'm not even one to leave reviews, but Good Intentions deserves all the accolades. My favorite coffee shop of all time (yea no, how about of all time??). The coffee is incredible, flavors are DELICIOUS, the vibe is impeccable. No other coffee shop hits the spot the same anymore. Their lavender latte is the GOAT. While many lavender flavored drinks can have that overly floral taste.... they REALLY nailed this one and it's so perfectly balanced. Also we are oat milk stan's and they have it so W. On top of incredible coffee and treats, the staff is 10/10. I can't describe how warm and welcoming every single person who works there is. They provide such a feeling of community that they've actually got two severe introverts consistently coming in to socialize while meeting our caffeine needs.
