So cute & aesthetic inside, HOWEVER, the drinks r so bad. The matcha latte tastes like straight up milk. It doesn't help that i got oat milk either, all i taste is a strong oat milk. I got mine hot but I looked over those who got it iced & it doesn't look very redeeming. I'd pass. Location is cool though, right across from erewhon. I'll probably take myself over there after. An aesthetic café located in Fairfax! I visited this coffee shop on a Sunday morning and my experience here was pretty good. For drinks I had the Andante Signature and it was relatively good. It was a solid coffee drink, but I wish the coffee was stronger. It was a bit too icy as well. I did like how it was not too sweet though. My favorite part was the cream top which was so soft and smooth. The interior is gorgeous and I love the vibes. They have Wi-Fi, but no outlets. They have tables and seating areas, but they're not too comfortable for longer periods of time. They also have a bathroom. For parking, it's street parking. Overall, a good experience here and I would come back to try their food and other drink options. read more

Second time trying their signature drink which is the Andante. It's a cold brew which is sweetened with maple syrup. It also had a cold cream top which makes it extra delicious. This drink is sooo good that it literally replaces a dessert. I want to try their other drinks but I just love this one so much. Highly recommend. read more

I've been to Andante Coffee Roaster a couple of times now and been happy with everything I've had there. It's a cute simplistic shop with minimalistic aesthetics and seriously the coolest clientele. I wore a red sweatshirt in once and was like....girl you do not fit in with all these beiges, army greens and neutral cool people shades. Noted for my next visits, lol! This was their OG location, with more now in Echo Park and DTLA, they brew good stuff. I love this Beverly Grove/Fairfax location because they open at 7am on weekdays! A rarity in this city but it may be because they are near the CBS Studios, Erewhon and the Grove ~ a busy morning hub of activity. Well, all day activity so just now if you are driving here, parking will be difficult. With that being said, it does get busy here! I went at 730 this morning and every table was already full with people hanging out, doing work, etc. There's a good amount of indoor seating though, and the rotation of seating seemed to be happening smoothly. I highly recommend trying their seasonal specials they have listed when you're in. They're all so well crafted with unique and fun flavor combinations. I had the Peppermint Mocha today and it was adorbs served with a marshmallow on top! I'm in the holiday spirit haha but it was legit so tasty. I came here yesterday and got the andante, half-sweet with regular milk. It was very good and not too sweet! It is pricey, though, $7.50. Parking can be tough in this area, and some of the residential areas have permit parking. Overall, I would still come back. read more

A short review as this was just a takeout order: Decent coffee but nothing special. The andante cold brew & sweet cold brew tastes almost the same. One just had cold foam but it didn't really have a big impact. As someone who's always seeking specialty/unique flavors, this didn't satisfy. I really like this coffee shop. Today I got the flat white and it was excellent. I find the people who work there to be professional and warm especially the guy with the glasses working this morning he often greets people with the smile he's personable and professional and knowledgeable. Constantly busy throughout the day, but I loved the spot and the ambiance. As always, nothing beat free flow of natural lighting, and despite the fact that I couldn't spot any power plug, there are tables suitable for working. Prolly also for the best so people don't stay for too long! I got their Andante, which was their house specialty cold brew sweetened with maple syrup and got its creaminess from the cream top. I discovered this coffee shop last Saturday after my hairdresser recommended it, and I'm so glad I tried it! I met a friend there who brought her young son, and even though it's not specifically kid-friendly, we still felt comfortable, and the baby was calm and relaxed. I ordered a hot, dirty chai, which was excellent--smooth, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The space isn't huge, but it feels open, has a bathroom, and has 10/10 customer service. It's also a great spot to bring a laptop and work, though seating is limited. It's worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for a place to chill and escape the busy street. read more

I brought my husky dog in & they still have dog treats out. I ordered their most popular drink the andante drink & IT WAS SO GOOD. It's basically cold brew with maple syrup & THIS AMAZING foam on top. I typically can't handle the bitterness of cold brew but I drank this whole drink so fast. Also the customer service was so great, the front guy I talked to wanted me to try it just in case. There also a ton of people working/studying too, so good vibes! read more

One of my favorite local spots. It's our weekend morning routine to come here after taking our dog to pan pacific to play. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a lot of regulars you get used to seeing around! I love that they have the little "take a book, leave a book" library and they're always stocked up on dog treats, which naturally my dog loves. Highly recommend the andante or a cream top matcha (or the Harry's bb during the fall/winter -- caffeinated butterbeer for the win) read more

I come here regularly, the coffee is amazing and so I say this with love: please do a better job with your bathroom cleanliness and upkeep. The state of the bathroom (accumulated filth, grime, little to no soap or very watered down soap) makes me question the overall cleanliness of your establishment. read more

I've come here a couple times and I really like this spot! While I wish there were more seating & outlets, this is still a quiet place to get some work done. My boyfriend got a Genmaicha Tea, which is poured warm and then ice is added into it. It has a little honey in it to make it sweet, and it reminds me of a seaweed-y, barley-y, taste. Musubis were the first thing I thought of at first sip. It's not bad and something I would definitely like to drink at home. Their signature drink the Andante -- IT. IS. SO. GOOD. Its smooth, and creamy, and while I was looking for a chocolate-y drink and this ISN'T a chocolate-y drink, it fulfills that taste that I was looking for. Does that make sense? LOL. Street parking only, so you might have to do a little driving to find the right spot, but it's not terrible. Large windows, small & limited tables and chairs, no outlets. If I'm in the area, I've absolutely stopped by for the Andante drink and recommend this spot! Whether you're working solo or meeting a friend, I definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

We stopped for our morning coffee during a recent trip to LA. The shop has an airy, laid-down vibe with a few tables placed along the wall, and a lot of space. In the back, a small roaster attests to the effort put into the bean production. We ordered an espresso and a cortado and both were quite tasty. Super cute inside, very trendy. But that's all this coffee shop has going for itself! My best friend and I tried the dirty horchata, and it honestly missed the mark--by a lot. It was basically 99% milk with a single shot of espresso, extremely boring and bland! For $8, it just didn't deliver. I'd much rather go to La La Land or Series A, and actually feel like I'm getting what I paid for. I don't mind spending $12 on an iced coffee, as I am an iced coffee snob, but it needs to have some flavor and personality. Wouldn't recommend! read more

Great coffee...terrible manager. The woman who runs the counter there should not be in any service industry. Don't have exact change? She won't break a $20. Show up 10 minutes before closing? She won't bother with your measly two drinks because she'll have to take 30 seconds to wash a dish after. It's always something, every time. It's a damn shame because the coffee is great. But they don't deserve the patronage with that attitude. read more

On the hunt for the best matcha lattes in LA, I came across Andante. Store wasn't too busy when I went on a weekend morning, and I found the seating inside really beautiful with plenty of natural lighting. I opted for a matcha latte (sweetened), and it came out fairly quickly. Personally, I found the matcha latte a bit overly sweet and wished I could've either made it unsweetened or had it adjusted in sweetness. Not the most-amazing matcha latte I've had, but it did the trick. Ambiance inside was lovely, though, and I'd return to stay a bit longer! read more

Came here in the late morning on a Saturday. Seemed like there was a lot of parking in the surrounding areas. Short and sweet menu. I got a Vanilla Latte and it was delicious. They also are dog friendly and has little treats at the front. Very aesthetically pleasing with a minimalistic style. The two people working were very friendly and helpful as well. Made sure the coffee was to my liking before I left. Overall 5/5. I plan on coming back as the coffee was exceptionally good... the two handsome baristas are a plus as well. hah! A large open space on the corner. Serves a thoughtful assortment of perfectly calibrated signature coffee drinks. Frank Sinatra & Stan Getz adds a bit of romance. First i had their Sweet Cold Brew which i finished in 5 minutes. Then I had their Andante. All i can say is their coffee is the best and i'll be back every hour for more. If I'm ever in the mood for coffee while in the Fairfax District/near the Grove, Andante is my go-to. They serve great coffee and have ample seating, with a sunlight-filled and airy interior. The service is efficient, and during my last visit, I though the employee was helpful in explaining the different pastries available. Most recently, I tried a raspberry pastry that was flaky and lightly studded with fruit inside. The Spanish latte was not overly sweet despite the addition of condensed milk, and I've never left Andante with a bad coffee purchase. If I lived in the neighborhood, I could see this being a great place to read or get some writing done. read more

Almond milk and oat milk are very similarly priced to dairy milk at the grocery store. I'm at the point now where if you're charging me an extra dollar for a splash, I'm not coming back on principle. There was just a couple of people inside when we arrived. The evenings are usually busier with several people inside and on the outdoor courtyard which has a few tables. We both ordered cheesecake and we loved them. Very fresh, flavorful, and creamy in texture. I had the Oreo Cheesecake and my friend had the Mocha Cheesecake. My friend also had a Fusion Mocha Shake which he said tasted great with the right amount of mocha flavoring for his taste. We spoke to the owner/baker after we ate to compliment his desserts. I asked how business was and he said unfortunately slow. He mentioned how restaurants in general were having a hard time in the current uncertain economy. It has nothing to do with his products. The desserts and treats are great. If you can, give this spot a try. And the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the desserts. There's a promotion for new customers. Whatever amount you spend on your first visit, you earn that amount in credits towards your next purchase. It's all automated through your phone number. Open everyday until midnight.
