She didn't love the chicken croquette appetizer but I thought it was quite toothsome. We both LOVED our entrees - one was a chicken sandwich and the other a pasta dish. Both were just fantastic. This was our first visit and just so happened to be on Thanksgiving Day. Having never eaten out on a holiday, our expectations were low, We were totally blown away by a meal better than we could have ever cooked ourselves. The turkey was moist with a yummy creamy gravy. The stuffing was full of flavor and full of veggies. The sweet potatoes were light, fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. We decided to give GLB a shot since it's close to where we live. The service was good. We sat inside, and the noise level was consistent with what you'd expect from a sports bar. It was busy but not full, and they did a good job of keeping it clean and turning the tables. The food needs a lot of help. I ordered a burger, and it came out very, very dry and overcooked. It seemed like they used beef that had 10% or less fat. I can't recommend the burger to anyone. My wife and son ordered a pizza and shared a Caesar salad. One side of the pizza crust was burned and had to be cut off. The salad was basic but decent. We likely won't be back given the poor food quality. read more

Food and drinks are always good. The service the last few times I've been here have been absolutely terrible and I always sit at the bar. Bartenders just ignoring you, leaving dirty glasses and plates on the bar for a long time after people leave, and getting the wrong food orders. The key is to make a reservation and be there on time ..... your seating will be ready and everyone is so friendly. The menus of both food and beverages is both expansive and very desirable. Our group and 6 different entree's and several appetizers and each was fresh, delicious and rewarding Great prices and the biggest surprise is all food is made from scratch so the flavors, temperature and presentation were AWESOME. Good service and good environment however soon after lunch I was ill with stomach ache and symptoms of food poisoning. I had the salmon appetizer which may have been the issue. The meal overall was not good. The fish and chips consisted of smaller chunks of fish and not filets. So I would not recommend this establishment until they rework some of their issues. read more

We usually stop here on Sunday during the Farmer's Market and we have always had great food and drinks. Their beers are really very good and true to style, and they have developed a great menu. Their staff works hard in a location that is often bustling. Today we stopped in for a late lunch, which is unusual for us. I ordered a tasting flight of three IPA's and a Hefeweizen and they were all great. My wife really enjoyed her shrimp and kale salad. I ordered fish and chips and was very disappointed. The fish was literally like rubber, I had to use my knife to cut it! The taste was okay and we were in sort of a hurry so I ate it, but as we departed I nicely mentioned to the manager that the service was great but the fish was literally like rubber and I had to use my knife to cut it. He just told me he'd look into it, which is not the response I expect - maybe something like "I'm sorry" or "Thank you for letting me know" or "we'll get you a free beer next time you are in." So while the service and the drinks and most of the food was great, I was surprised by the unconcerned response about my concern with the food quality. read more

We went for a late lunch, four of us. We sat outside which was perfect on a sunny breezy day. I had a delicious Mocktail, another had a flight of their beers, another had a blonde beer and the other had a citrus punch. All were wonderful. We had a pizza (aptly called the kitchen sink), black bean burger, fish (chilian sea bass!) and a burger (black n bleu). Each one of us raved over our selections. Ileana was our service, she was delightful. She was so friendly and engaging. In fact, every employee was so nice. Clean bathrooms, great atmosphere~ we will be back. read more

Was a beautiful location on the water. Had a very good Southwest salad with steak which was very tender. Salad was so big I brought home leftovers and ate 2 more times. A friend was very disappointed with her kale salad that looked like nothing more than a huge head of kale with very tiny bits of apple, bacon and Brussels sprouts that she could hardly find. We went to this location on a whim this evening. We are so glad we made the trip! Just a warning if you're not familiar with the area; this is way down a road that looks like it's residential (we wondered if Maps was taking us to someone's apartment!) but it's on street with other businesses. We each had a different drink (blonde stout, mojito sour, and an old fashioned) and they were all excellent. I like that they have other options in addition to beer at this location. We ordered the fried mac and cheese because why not and it, too was excellent. We could get beer and apps anywhere else BUT the staff and atmosphere set this place apart from others. Food and atmosphere were great. Can't say the same about the service - which is a make or break for me. Our dirty dishes sat on the table, drinks went unfilled and food took forever to get to the table. I asked for my salad to be tossed in dressing and it came out dry. Asked for more dressing and the server forgot. We asked to split the check and he charged one credit card for the entire amount. Yes, I will go back but will make sure to sit with another server. Food is good here and atmosphere is great. They are to busy to answer the phone however so don't waste your time trying to get on the call ahead list. Tonight they finally answered, put me on hold only to hang up on me. When I tried to call back they simply don't answer. This isn't the first time they just don't answer the phone. Wouldn't waste your time. They tried to give me a nice glass of wine in a plastic Dixie cup while I was waiting for my table even though I was inside on a couch and said "that was only option." Then after an hour of waiting they put us at a table right by the bar crowd and next to the door to the outside seating. The worst place for a table.
