I love how you walk in and you go up to the counter to order then you have a number you bring to a table. They have a sign that says you have to order first, and cannot save tables. I had never seen this concept before. The lady working at the register was very friendly and welcoming! I got the eggs Benedict which was one of the best eggs Benedicts I have had. I loved how it was a twist on a tasty classic. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito which he really enjoyed. As soon as our food was delivered to our table I was in awe at how good it all looked. I even made a comment about how it looked so beautiful on the plate that I didn't want to cut into it. But my hunger won as I devoured it. Also, my caramel latte with oatmilk was SO good! Efficient | Coffee | Fruit Efficient - We rolled into their establishment 45 minutes before close, made our order, sat down at our table, and got our coffee and meals within 7 minutes. So given everything is made to order it was very efficient. They have stations for cutlery, water, and condiments. So, overall it is a very efficient operation. Coffee - we had a specialty latte, which was very delicious. It was as good as any other coffee shop in town. We would gladly get it again. Fruit - I was not feeling super hungry, so I just had their side of potatoes and a fresh cup of fruit. Both were great. The Potatoes were delicious, and I will gladly get them again. I recently visited Good Lookin' in Dundee based on a friend's recommendation. I went on a Sunday around 11AM, and the restaurant was packed! Here, you order at the window before taking an order number and finding a place to sit. Fortunately, I was able to sit down at the last vacant table. I ended up ordering the Chicken Fried Steak.   Chicken Fried Steak -This is my favorite dish to order at American Diners. Overall, I was rather impressed! The Chicken Fried Steak was phenomenally seasoned and exceptionally crispy. Served with the sauce on top, it made for a wonderful mixture of flavors. In addition, I thought the potatoes were cooked well and had the right ratio of crunchy outer with a tender inner texture. The eggs, cooked over medium, were also cooked how I like them! Berry Latte -I was somewhat disappointed with the flavors. Described to be a spring berry-like latte, my drink lacked any resemblance of a fruity component and tasted like your typical coffee house lattes. While I enjoyed my drink, I expected something different than what I had ordered.   One caveat to mention is that I was hoping to have tried their Churro Waffle and was disappointed as they were already sold out by the time I arrived. Overall, Good Lookin' was a fun place to grab a bite to eat with friends. Their Chicken Fried Steam was definitely some of the best I've ever had. One of my favorite places in Omaha! It's a fun, casual spot where you order at the counter and they bring your food at your table. If the line is long, don't worry it'll go quickly. I really enjoyed everything to be honest- the prices were reasonable, the food was super flavorful, and the service was good. Good: Ricotta pancakes- were great but I didn't taste too much of the ricotta. Loved the extra fruit. Chicken Fried Steak- 1 of the best in the city and probably the best price relatively speaking. Breading was just right and I personally liked the chorizo gravy (others may not, though). $11 for a CFS and eggs, this is a great deal. Potatoes: I really liked the crispy potatoes and they were well seasoned. Bad/Meh: Breakfast burrito was ok, not the best I've had. The egg to everything else ratio was off and I felt like I was just eating a ton of eggs. Salsa was nice but a bit thick. Good lookin bowl- Didn't really work for me, the ratios seemed off. Kind of ended as a mess with the eggs and not much rice. Wasn't a fan of this. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely return. Ordered the Double Standard and would be a hard choice deciding whether the thick cut bacon or the potatoes were the best and an honorable mention to the toast. I know that may sound odd but when most bread is skinny or a dry crunchy, it's hard not to mention when you don't want to leave any of the toast behind. We also had the chorizo biscuits. I usually don't have biscuits and gravy due to the lack of protein and this was close to the reason why. Don't get me wrong, the biscuits were really good but the gravy was just okay. Hello and welcome to Good Lookin'. A breakfast place, that serves breakfast. I'm not really sure why it's called "Good Lookin'", but if I had to guess, it would be because all of their food looks really good. I stopped in on a weekday around lunchtime, so I wasn't too concerned with seating or a wait. Apparently it can get pretty hectic on the weekends, and they do not allow reservations or saved tables. I came in for a lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday while during my workday, so unfortunately I was unable to test out the numerous flavors of mimosas that everyone else at my tae tried. But from their reactions, they were all awesome. I did get the opportunity to try one of the muffins they have up at the register, and it was a really good muffin. I would recommend snagging one, if they are still there when you visit The menu is fun and diverse, my only complaint would be a lack of more unhealthy, sweet, and sticky options. I tend to enjoy ordering waffles, pastries, and just about anything else in that category I can get my hands on and I just didn't feel there were enough of these on the menu. I actually ordered the breakfast burrito for this visit, and boy let me tell you, it was incredible. It was, as their name promised, very good looking, and also very flavorful. Everything on the plate balanced out very well with each other, it wasn't overly spicy, and it was wrapped up tight enough I could make handle it however I desired on it's to my mouth. This place was hard hard to find !! Even with GPS, there wasn't a clear sign on the outside of the building to know where it was located. But it is WORTH the find, once you enter you can order at the cash register and they have all your standard breakfast options to the more interesting bowls (like the one I got). It is definitely a very casual brunch spot and can get kind of loud in there since it's one large room. Finding tables might be tricky depending on how busy it is but my friends and I were a party of 6 and were just fine. The food itself is excellent! I liked my bowl because it was filling but also felt light and healthy at the same time. Bowl was reasonably priced too. Food came out pretty quick and we enjoyed the atmosphere to hang out and talk. Amazing brunch place! Highly recommend! The food is quality and the coffee is as well. You order when you first come in (no holding tables till you order). There is a bar if you just want to order drinks only. The breakfast burrito come with fresh salsa and is super savory. The chicken fried steak is sauced with chorizo gravy. So bomb! And the potatoes are perfect. We love La Colombe coffee and so happy we finally found a place that drips it here in Omaha! We highly recommend this place. If there is an option to add bacon jam to the breakfast potatoes- you must. I could have eaten an entire plate full! That was easily my favorite part of the meal. The way it works is you stand in line to order, you get a number to bring to your table, and the food is brought out to you. The seats and tables are first come first serve and there is no table saving, so you need to order before grabbing a table. Parking is all street parking, so please plan accordingly. My new favorite breakfast / brunch spot in Omaha!! These awesome new Dundee find needs to be plastered on billboards, we loved it!! FOOD : I ordered the good lookin grain bowl (with no grain LOL, anticlimactic I know), sweet potato, pickled red onion (YUM), arugula with a balsamic dressing , avocado, apple slices, and I added chicken. My bowl was really good however I'm not a huge fan of generic gala apples and the sweet potato was a bit soggy, however both things that didn't really bug me or throw off the rest of the plate. The chicken was super fresh and lean, arugula also very fresh and all of the flavors of my plate paired really nicely. I love that this place has a lot of healthy options, but also a lot of comfort food options. I got an over hard egg on the side because it was FARM FRESH! How. Cool. You know you can trust a place with good, fresh ingredients! My mom and sister ordered two mochas, the chilaquiles, and the avocado toast with a side of bacon. My mom liked her chilaquiles however did feel like they added a little too much cheese for her taste, but again nothing major enough to throw the plate off. My sister LOVED her avocado toast and said it was the best she's had!! ATMOSPHERE / SERVICE : You order up front when you walk in, and then go pick your own seat. I actually quite liked this approach and they really balanced it well with staff coming around to ask how the food is, mingle, and take plates.
