We love this place because it's so close to our house & has a great space in the back for kids to run around and play! We've taken many guests to this spot because all the food is fried food that's easy to please and yummy!

Me and the Mrs decided to stop in here again for an evening meal. I got the double cheeseburger which was almost more than I could handle and her grilled chicken salad was fresh and tasty. Dbl Cheeseburger, salad, onion rings, and two craft beers came to $45 without tip. Read the previous review for more information.

I was craving for a fried chicken burger so I decided to try this from Good Luck Grill. Mỹ go to is always their burgers because they make it consistently exceptional and welled seasoned. My fried chicken burger was drier than this Texas summer heat. It was rough and under seasoned. The chicken breast have been pounded out too thin. Their chili cheese fries however is the best chili cheese fries I've had in a while! That chili was delicious and I will order that again when I return! Cheese was gooey and melted with the chili. The fries cheese pull was awesome. We devour that chili cheese fries! The chili was not spicy which is great for a nonspicy eater like myself. Just thinking of the chili cheese fries is making me crave for it. I will be stop by soon to get a burger and chili cheese fries!!

This is one of those places to which I immediately start planning a return visit. It sounded like a good place for lunch when I was in the area, so I came hungry. There's a walk up counter for placing your order, so don't make the embarrassing mistake I made and assume the customer leaning against what looks like a hostess stand will seat you. The lady who took actually my order was helpful and friendly, and got my Fried Catfish basket to me so quickly that I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh-from-the-fryer my food tasted. The catfish was among the best I've had anywhere, and the four fillets were more than I could finish. The one I took home tasted nearly as good after I popped it in the air fryer hours later. The fries and hush puppies were also good, and I enjoyed it all on a really nice covered patio overlooking a big yard. The rest of the menu also looked good. I'll be back for CFS, burgers, or chicken.

This is my second review of this restaurant, one not too long following my first! My wife and I came for lunch to try another menu option--we went with sandwiches this time around--the "Southwest Grilled Chicken Sandwich" sounded amazing to us. Fried Green Tomatoes, bacon, provolone cheese, Chipotle Aioli on Texas Toast, sounds amazing right???? The good news is that it was!!! Ugh. So good. We loved it. The chicken was juicy, the bacon was crispy and the green tomatoes and aioli were a great touch. We will likely be coming back on a regular basis for it. It was served with a side of fries which also have been consistently good. Just needed to share the experience with others. I hear the burgers are pretty good as well, those might be next for us to try.

Not worth the price. $30 for a premade frozen burger patty and some fried catfish is way too much. Low quality food with a hefty price tag

It feels like you are sitting in your home kitchen, the staff are very nice, and the atmosphere is typical Texas Diner, and there is nothing wrong with that! Few pictures, and good ole classic cheeseburger! 1lb of meat... good luck, taste great but sheesh, it's hefty, the quesadilla is 10/10 with chicken, idk why it just bangs every time! Glad it did. The menu isn't huge, but honestly that's usually a good sign -- focus on doing a smaller menu really well instead of serving 94 mediocre things and a sad waffle. I ordered the Bad Ass Bacon & Eggs plate. It came with thick-cut bacon, 2 eggs, hash brown casserole, wheat toast, and smoked salsa. Bacon - 9/10 This wasn't your average thin breakfast bacon. Thick-cut, almost pork belly style, with killer flavor and very meaty. Eggs - 9/10 Cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Simple, but done right. Hash Brown Casserole - 8/10 Different than what I expected, but in a good way. Unique flavor and a great addition to the plate. Salsa - 7/10 Very homemade style salsa with a smoky flavor. Different, but really good. Atmosphere - 9/10 Loved the vibe. Cozy atmosphere, great music, and just an overall comfortable place to sit and enjoy breakfast. If this place was closer to home, I'd eat here often. Service - 10/10 Excellent service. Christy H. was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Overall - 9/10 Definitely a must-try breakfast spot in Austin. They currently have four locations, and after eating here, it's easy to see why.

Crispy on the outside, golden and crunchy, with a cheesy, gooey center that tasted like true homemade mac & cheese. Already off to a strong start. Then came the chicken and waffles... and let me just say: the chicken is a 1000/5. Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned breading with juicy, tender meat inside. Every bite was packed with flavor. The waffle was soft, fluffy, buttery, and cooked just right--paired perfectly with the chicken. I also tried the gumbo (added shrimp). The flavor was definitely there, rich and well-developed with a great consistency on the roux. For me personally, it was just a tad on the salty side--but honestly, not enough to take away from the overall experience. Even the cabbage was seasoned perfectly and cooked just right--nothing on the table was bland. This is one of those spots where you can taste the care in every dish. Flavor everywhere, no shortcuts. Server was attentive and my coffee stayed filled (with a small caveat I'll speak to below). Atmosphere was simple. "Modern" diner experience. Music was low and not obnoxious, bell ringing behind the counter, the low hum of conversations. Lighting was nice. Food for the most part was also excellent (one caveat to this will be listed below). I had the Counter Benedict, wife had the biscuits and gravy, son had the breakfast taco. Breakfast potatoes were very good. Crisp, pillowy, and properly seasoned. Pastrami on the Benedict was very good. Poached eggs were well cooked and silky as expected. Flour tortilla in the breakfast taco was also good. Sausage in the gravy was slightly spicy and delicious. Now, the negatives: Coffee was lukewarm after my first cup. Coffee needs to be hot. One of the biscuits in my Benedict was overcooked and dry as a bone. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy is sweet for some reason. Normally I want more gravy, but when my wife couldn't finish her breakfast, I had 0 desire to eat it. Not sure why it's sweet but it's weird. Overall we liked it so we will be back. The prices are very reasonable for Austin, and they have Valentina as a hot sauce option (which is excellent).

Only negative has nothing to do with the business, just this being Austin, there are LPGOs (Loud Professionals Gassing On), setting up the laptop and conducting business meetings LOUDLY while us country hicks are just trying to have a relaxing breakfast.
