Good food for everyone around. Able to accommodate my Vegan Gluten free sister as well. Kind attentive staff. Hidden gem in the area.

It wasn't bad. It just was not good. I get the concept, but I don't think it's for me. First off, the drinks. We each got one at the bar while waiting for our table. I enjoyed mine, but my dining companion's (the Saturn) tasted like straight juice. With dinner, I wanted to get a draft beer and was able to sample the two IPAs. While one was tasty, I didn't order one because the beer was lukewarm. I got a burger, and companion got the black cod. The burger is $32 and a full pound and served with a heap of fries. For the price, less than impressed. The overly thick patty was just too much. It was dry and just not for me. I would rather have two well-seasoned and juicy thinner patties. The fries and sauce were good. But not $32 worth of good. The cod itself was decent but it came in a sauce that was cold and odd tasting. Ambiance is fine. It was loud and crowded, but clean. Service was friendly.

The second you walk into Good Luck you can feel the good vibes. We made a reservation for two and were seated immediately upon arrival. I loved that there's a free coat check, it was very helpful due to the rainy weather. The menu may seem short, but we wanted to try every item. We ended up trying the Ox tail ragout which was so rich and decadent and full of flavor. The bread was an excellent mode of delivery. The Burger was HUGE. Definitely made to share. The fries were crispy. The burger was juicy and melted in my mouth, a must try. We also got free champagne since we were celebrating. The drink menu itself is presented in an interesting manner with something for everyone's taste. Good Luck was an excellent experience from start to finish

We popped in for just some drinks. Service was quick. I tried the kitsune and French 75. The kitsune was actually spicy with wasabi flavor and I liked how it was served over crushed ice. The French 75 was well made. Definitely want to try food next time.

Good luck is one of your weekly-monthly go to restaurants :) Absolutely love the vibe and I always pick bar seats! I love the bartenders as they are great mixologists and make the best drink, on demand; even if I go off menu ;) I recently went for their fried chicken night which was great; crispy chicken with a side of fries hit the spot I can't say enough about the baklava cheese cake, it was so moist and delicious!! If it's not be menu it's a must have Their drinks are always amazing - I love the violently citrus and the Sunday shirt!

Nice variety of large shared plates! All orders are family style ! You've come here several times! Although it is probably on the pricey side, most of the dishes are very tasty - especially the large burger and fries! We always order the burger and fries that's been cut into fourth and the wonderful fries, the kale, Caesar salad, hummus chicken. They have new offerings, sprinkled with into the menu every now and then. The cocktails are interesting mix of items that normally would not be together. Will definitely return.

Alright I have now been to good luck twice. The first time I was very disappointed with my pasta dish because the portion was extremely small and they advertise that meals are family style. I decided to give it another chance, and I came back to get what they're known for, the burger. So as soon as they placed the burger on our table, we saw that the fries were completely burnt. They tasted totally burnt, they were just not good at all. And my friend was telling me how they are usually really good so I was really disappointed but we didnt want to be the jerks who sent something back. So my friend finally mustered up the courage to tell the guy that our fries were very burnt and didn't taste good - and the guy said "yeah I actually felt really bad giving you guys those fries, I can get you a new side of them" We were totally baffled. You knew that you placed totally burnt, basically edible fries on our table?! I'm sorry I just feel like that's totally unacceptable, especially for the prices that they charge here. The ambience is amazing. I will give it that. But the service is just really hit or miss I guess. Our waiter was really nice and the hostesses are super friendly. But that whole situation just really irked me. The crostini and orange pie were the best part of the meal imo.

    Do I need reservations?

I would seriously suggest it.. unless you are just going for cocktails. It's a busy place and I seriously would get a reservation even for two people.

Wow, so delicious with the spices, the tangy cheese, the creamy egg, and the dough which was tender and flaky. Eggplant 'steak', also a banger. So many different flavors and textures presented in one delicious dish. And the lamb shank. Holy crap, one of the best meals I've had, period. The meat itself is meltingly tender and perfectly seasoned. All of the other stuff on the plate, the dill rice, the red stuff, crispy chickpeas, fava beans, some green sauce and parsely, it might sound like too much but it works so perfectly. Each bite containing a whole odyssey of textures and intense flavors. We got the signature dessert, a nest of phyllo with cardamom mousse, saffron syrup, fresh raspberries and more I'm forgetting. An absolute show stopper, and perfect with a turkish coffee. Even the turkish delight that came with the coffee was delicious. Service was helpful, prompt, and abundantly kind. This might be the best fine dining ROC has to offer.

Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, and their kindness really stood out throughout the evening. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, and you could tell a lot of thought and care went into each plate. I tasted the Khachapuri flat bread, Wild Mushrooms, Lamb Lollipops, Kurobuta Pork Chop and the Braised Lamb Shank. Also pictured, the Duck Risotto and the Tomahawk steak. Between the exceptional service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, this was a truly memorable dining experience. I would absolutely recommend it for a special occasion or simply a great meal, and I'll definitely be back.

I've been so excited to review Cure!…read more This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in town and dare I say it - my favorite of the good luck family chain of restaurants I love the ambiance - unlike good look it is a bit more cozy. I love sitting at the bar, the bartenders are very fun to talk to! Let's talk drinks - so many options and the menu is so unique! they have a shaken, still, and bubbly option, something for everyone. I think some of them can be non alcoholic if you ask :) the drinks are always impressive, I've never been disappointed the food menu is perfect for sharing. It's French inspired cuisine so it is definitely meat heavy. My favorite dishes are below: the bahn mi is sooo good, the sauce is creamy and the bread from Flour city is perfectly crunchy The beef tartare is such a great portion and under 20 bucks!! Most places charge a lot more for it. If raw meat is not your thing then I'd avoid it but I'd give it a chance if you're adventurous. And finally the amazing steak - medium rare, juicy, perfectly salted. The fries are super addicting. Not dry at all. They have a good house sauce to dip it in (akin to good luck). Overall this is a AMAZING place with such an inspired drink and food menu. I'm already thinking about my next venture to Cure :)

After perusing Yelp reviews, I found a cozy little place called Grace and Disgraced. It was lovely inside but learned that reservations were required. I asked the owner for a recommendation and he pointed us here. This is exactly what we were looking for! Delicious, rustic French food, beautiful cocktails and a table for two in a charming, glowy dining room. I am serious when I say the charm here is forefront. But not at all second to that charm is the food! I had the merguez sausage over root vegetable and lentils and my friend had the beef bourguignon. Both of these were stand out dishes! The melted brie with chilled potatoes to start complimented these dishes beautifully! The cocktails were so well-made and I can't tell you thankfull I am that we were directed here. It was the perfect place for us to be.

I can confidently say that this is our favorite restaurant in ROC. From the menu, to the plates and dishes, you can tell that everything is very well thought out. I loved the fonts used in the menu. I also like how it's a more personalized experience as there are only a few tables in the back. Additionally, service is amazing. Cary was great - personable, helpful and funny. The food was incredible. Our favorite dish was the hamachi, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender and paired so well with the sauce. Truly such an incredible dish. The kan kan pork chop was very juicy and tender as well. It paired very well with the acidity from the pickled veggies and chimichurri sauce. The saffron risotto with lobster was also very delicious - creamy and with large pieces of lobster. Compliments to the chef! Everything was so delectable. Can't wait to come back again soon!
