I'm a very old guy, and Robert (business owner)/Good News Plumbing, is by far the best plumber we have EVER hired. He and his assistant are extremely qualified/knowledgable. Also very clean and neat...they were careful to cover our travertine floors so as not to scratch or damage them. Also, they carefully cleaned up when they were ready to leave. Robert had to cut a hole in one wall to gain access under our bathtub and he did it masterfully and neatly...he will return to install an access panel in the next week. He will also return to remove 2 bathroom sinks that are epoxy-glued underneath marble countertops once the right sized new sinks arrive...some time back I called at least 5 plumbing companies and none of them were willing to touch it. I had Good News Plumbing come to my house to re-locate a gas line as well as electrical due to removing a wall from the kitchen which required the gas line and electric to be ran under the concrete flooring. These guys were on time and was able to complete the job and left no mess behind. Robert is very knowledgeable and knew to vent the gas line in case of a leak. Had Good News install the plumbing in my new home and very happy with the install. Inspections passed the first time with no corrections.

The slogan on the business card reads, "No bad news with Good News Plumbing". However, after they incorrectly installed my water softener, the repair bill to fix their mistake was very bad news. They were supplied with installation instructions, but common sense would have prevented the problem. Additionally, they installed an RO system under my kitchen sink in the center island. When they attached a bracket under my sink, the screws pierced the outer wall of the island and noticeable plus they are a sharp hazard to anyone who sits at the island counter. I gave these guys a good review at first because they were nice, professional and on time. Too bad they are incompetent plumbers. read more

WATCH OUT, THESE GUYS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE CLEANERS. They will never give you a fixed price for the job, only a range with a difference of 300-500 dollars. The final bill will always be the high price because of extra work involved. ( as if they can't tell you when they first arrive) This happened to myself and several of my friends. I gave them a dispose all to be installed, after doing that, the owner told me that the unit did not come with an electrical wire. I told him to use the old one, he said he broke it. ( how can you break an electrical wire) He replaced it and charged me 50 dollars. The same thing at Home Depot is 10 dollars. This is not a trustworthy company. They are recommended by a large appliance dealer...but I would use other plumbers who are more honest and competent. read more
