He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I will be using Jim and Son's for any plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I remembered the name of the other plumber that helped him out during the job, but he was awesome as well. Again, he understood the importance of customer service and making sure that customers are left with a great experience in addition to getting the work done. 6/5 stars if I could.

He showed me proof and explained it to me. It was under the cement slab in our garage. I was not happy about the possibility of tearing out concrete. He suggested running the pipe above ground where it would be accessible. He rerouted the line and used materials that saved me money. Instead of taking several days, it was done by lunch. He quickly diagnosed our water pressure issue--our main valve was sitting at a dangerous 100 PSI--and installed a new 1-inch Zurn Wilkins regulator (our old one was 24 years old!). The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

If you have plumbing needs ER Block Plumbing is the go to company. The personnel are so friendly and helpful. Their pricing is fair and they are an honest company. They are always right on time. James was a miracle worker this week in finding a main line leak and repairing it without shutting off water to all building occupants and he called me to let me know what he had done. All of the technicians, Ted, David, Paul, James and Ron are always on top of contacting our office once they arrive to a property and letting us know what issue they found. I won't use any other plumber. The best hands down. read more

This is a part that has been replaced before so I did not hire this company to replace it. So all in all I paid $195 for a wrongful diagnosis and still don't have a working water heater. Places like this can really take advantage of people. Also, to anyone out there the Rheem gas water tanks are junk and not worth the money. I have contacted this company and hopefully they can help me with this.

The plumber was not able to take the snake down to the HOA main pipe and ended up entering straight forward to my neighbor's sink pipe (the unit in front of mine) and breaking his P trap, which caused his kitchen and part of his living room to fill with sewage. Besides that, the water that came out of the drain in my neighbor's unit ended leaking into the unit below him and damaging his ceiling with sewage. The company denied responsibility and did not repair any damage.
