I was referred to ER Block Plumbing by another plumber who just does Backflow device work. I called ER Block because I had a leak in a copper pipe in a house that is over 100 years old. The shut off valve was practically rotted off as well. They came the same day and did a fantastic job. John was the plumber that did the work and he is very efficient and knows his stuff. He replaced a portion of the pipe that had a leak and replaced the shut off as well. I would have to say he did EVERYTHING that needed to be done but did not over do the job. I feel he was very competent and honest. I will be keeping their business card and sending them many referrals. Great service and great work. The receptionist who took my call was equally competent, efficient and very nice to deal with. I believe her name was Andrea !!!! I am VERY happy. read more

AMAZING! emergency service needed, ER Plumbing sent Someone out right away... Edgar showed up and was very friendly, knowledgeable and found leak right away. Edgar showed me damage and explained and what repair was needed. The water damage was so bad in my hallway and restrooms that I needed a restoration company, Edgar called into his office and ER Plumbing contacted and set up a same day quote from a restoration company! Referred to ER Block by another independent plumber. I called them to repair/replace a mixit valve in master shower and main bath. Main bath he told me we would have to cut wall and replace the valves, so was not fixed. Had to call them back two more times because the handle in master was put on too tight and could not turn, plumber blamed it on the cartridge and seemed to work ok. Less than a week later, called back for third time because the hot & cold water was coming out the wrong way (hot on right/cold on left) although it worked properly before he changed the cartridge. Plumber told me I needed a complete new faucet with valves (another hole cut). I made arrangements to buy the faucet set and he would be back on Friday to install because he had a "short day". Eight days later I still have not seen or heard from plumber. Plus side, both plumbers that were sent out were polite and personable. However I need faucets that work, so I will not call them back there are plenty of plumbers out there with excellent reviews. read more

I had some nasty plumbing issues at my new house. I don't know the first thing about plumbing so I called this company out. Ted was the technician that arrived the same day I called. He walked me through what was wrong with the pipes in my kitchen and bathrooms, and made his recommendations. The next day he can back, worked all day and got the job done perfect. I've used other plumbing companies in the past and ER Block is hands down the best one. From the nice lady answering the phones to the technician doing the work was a nice and easy process. $800 AN HOUR??? WOW!! He was listed under emergency plumbing and I needed to snake my lines. It was Sunday at midnight. I left a message and he called me back but he acted like I was crazy and bothering him. He immediately blurted out, "it's Sunday at midnight, that's gonna be like $800 an hour." LMAO!!! Are you serious? Maybe he thinks that because I'm a woman, I'm stupid. Since I probably disturbed his sleep, I politely said, Good Night and hung up!! He called me back 3 times for some reason and finally my husband told him to quit calling!! If you don't provide a service, please don't advertise that you do. read more

James and Sean came out to do some work for me three times this year and I was very happy with what they both did. On Monday and Tuesday of March 10-11 James move the water heater and installed a pipe, put in numerous bathroom fixtures, fixed a toilet and moved another toilet. Sean came out Friday, April 11 and installed a faucet in the kitchen. James came out a week later and finished off the install of the toilet downstairs. This is more to just let people know when owning a home to get a few different opinions. Although the technician was very nice, he immediately told me that it would be a large job and would need to break up the ground. I got a second opinion and the tech was able to figure out that someone previously broke a piece off their snake and it was wedged into where the two connect, he found this out in 10 minutes. I spent 100 dollars unfortunately with this company to be told incorrect information and that is unfortunate, but lesson learned. read more

We had a problem with our water pressure regulator that was leaking and causing water pressure problems. After speaking with the Owner, David Ross, he sent a plumber by the name of Ted who do an excellent job of replacing the regulator. "Five Star" Mike from E.R. Block Plumbing is the best! Only days after moving in, we had flooding in our kitchen when the washing machine drained. Mike came out and assessed the situation. In no time, he explained that the pipeline was clogged in the kitchen and washing machine area. Mike was professional, courteous, and all around great to work with. They sent James to find a water leak. Turns out it was a few small holes in my shower tile grout. What a relieif! James also replaced two old water supply lines to my toilets that were 20 years old and leaked if you turn the water up all the way. The bill way fair. He called to twll me he was on his way. Communication excellennt. Well stocked truck. No messing around he gets the job done quickly and professionally. I have been going to ER Block for almost 25 years or more. This company will not stand behind their workmanship. Will NEVER use this company again for ANYTHING! Technicians that did the work were great and very professional! However, Greg Ross is very unprofessional and rude! He even hung up on us during a conversations with him on 5/5. We had ER Block replace a section of the main sewer line in April of 2015. We discovered this past winter (2017) that they did not back fill the trench correctly. During the hard rains these past months (that never came last year) the area sunk about 12 inches in places. It also damaged a retaining wall (that we have to repair ourselves!) located near the area. We've had to argue with them on numerous occasions to fix the cave in which was obviously from them not back filling the trench correctly. Greg's son David scheduled with us to come on May 5th, 2017 to fill the trench with DG. At 10:15 a.m. Greg was called to see what time they would be at our house. We were told David was in Utah and had the only truck that could perform this work. Greg did not know why his son would have scheduled this since his trip to UT had been scheduled for 6 months. He could not give us a future date as to when this service would be performed and said he would call us back either next Monday or Tuesday. We later called Greg that day to explained this work needs to be completed and we have been very patient, waiting for 3 months. Greg told me he did not need to listen to me complain to him and that he was doing us a favor by filling in the trench area. He then hung up on me! Needless to say we were shocked that an owner of a company would hang up on a customer, again this is very unprofessional and rude. A couple weeks later David called wanting to schedule another time to come out and fix the issue. He was called back the very next day and a message was left with him saying Friday would be ok with us. Well needless to say David never called back to confirm the day and we haven't heard from them since. read more
