Easy to make reservations and they have a bigger sized parking lot on Alexandra Road. They have you scan for the menu but you cannot order online, you need to order with the staff. Every table gets some lettuce/garlic/jalapeno and a salad but they forgot about ours and didn't give it until we realized and asked for it. Meats are good quality and they have a variety of sauces to dip. They will stand at the table and cook for you but if you prefer to cook it yourself you can let them know. Fried chicken was great and piping hot. They also let you have unlimited banchan. If you have more than 3 people they only give you little sharing plates rather than bowls.

Korean BBQ place on Alexandra Rd aka restaurant street in Richmond. There's parking at the plaza but it's busy on a Friday night. Went there on a Friday at 6pm-ish and the place was busy but not completely full, so no wait for a table. Mid-sized space that looks fairly new and clean inside. The tables are circular with the grill in the center, and its an elevated grill top rather than the recessed one at most other KBBQ places. The low-back chairs open up into a storage basket that you can put your jacket inside. Menu is available via scanning QR code, but you still have to order from the staff. We got the spicy pork belly (with lettuce for wraps), the salt and oil beef rib fingers, and the fried rice which is cooked on the grill top. The staff cooks the meat for you on the grill. The rib fingers are tender, while the spicy pork belly make for a good lettuce wrap with the kimchi and bean sprouts they also put on the grill. To wrap it up, the fried rice is cooked after all of the meat, so the rice can soak up the flavors and grease from meat left on the grill. Pretty tasty overall. Also you get 8 banchans for table. Overall bill was little under $80, which was a little lower than I expected.

We had always received great service at good nine up until yesterday. Our group was seated in the private room and were scolded by the waitress Rachel for maybe not meeting"minimum spend" even though we did. She was passive aggressive and made comments about us ordering dishes staggered rather than all at once. She did not smile the whole time and made us feel unwelcome. We will be going elsewhere for our group dinners unless we get an apology from management.

I think this is the most competitive Korean barbecue restaurant in Vancouver at present. As soon as I entered the house, I came to Seoul. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The food is even better quality. The store's food is full of good quality ingredients. It's a very happy experience. I will come again.

Korean BBQ but this spot does it different! They cook your meat for you on the grill and all the fat renders down so no accidental grease fires! Service was a little slow but it was a busy night. Overall food was pretty good and I liked how open the space was!

First time here for lunch. The food was very good and they cooked at the table for us. We got the combo A and B, that was enough to share for 3 ppl. There was only two of us so my friend had lots of leftovers to take home. Some of the banchans they served was different and tasted really good. The beef tofu soups that came with the combo were really good. This place was a 4.5 if based on food alone. I would definitely come back to try the other meat items with a larger group of people. I just didn't like the fact that we had to request for the rice and lettuce when it comes with the combo and the wait staff weren't crazy busy when we were there. They have free parking, you just have to scan the code by the door.

OMG this is the best Korean BBQ restaurant that I've ever been to!!! This place is fair priced for the quality and the food here is soooo good. The meat quality here is amazing and all the sides paired super well as well!! You have to get the fried rice at the end to complete the meal!!! Vibes here are immaculate and super aesthetically pleasing. This place does get super busy though so come early especially on the weekends

Really good quality meat and highly recommend ordering at least 3 plates to get the jjigae and soup. However, you do not get any refills on the lettuce. The atmosphere was very nice and had lots of space. Good for a night out with friends and family.

Some of the best Korean BBQ I've everrrr had. Truly felt like I was teleported back to Seoul upon entering this massive restaurant. All the cuts of meat we ordered were such high quality and of course, our server took the liberty of regularly returning to our table to fulfill requests and cook our meat so we could keep the soju shots going with ease. Anyone who knows me knows I hate managing the grill during KBBQ, I'm simply too busy crafting the perfect bite. Thankfully, I didn't have to lift a finger while dining here. Good Nine will see me and my friends again. Cannot wait to come back.

Nice environment and good service. This is a first grilling experience for us where the staff actually grills all your meat for you. They constantly come back around to flip your meats. Fun ambience.

It can be hard to find but as someone who walks, even taking transit then having a stroll to get there makes it even a greater experience. The Ambiance is very lively and upscale family oriented. Will always recommend it here.

Man, this local place hit the SPOT! After a day of traveling and working? I needed a place to wind…read moredown and eat some comfort food! I grew up in Seattle- a short drive to the south- and was missing me some seafood! I ordered up a couple local brews (IPA's if anyone is asking) and checked out the menu! I quickly focused on the fish and chips! 2pcs just to be safe! As I started to drink the beer, the fish and chips showed up! With a nice little tub of tartar sauce, and a nice little tub of ketchup for the fries- the way God intended! The fish was lightly breaded nicely fried and tasted absolutely fantastic! Especially with that great tartar sauce! Even the coleslaw tasted pretty epic! Now let me tell you this place was definitely a sports bar because tonight the USA was playing Belgium in the FIFA. World Cup and the place was lively as hell! So did I enjoy it? Heck yeah! I will be back and you should go and try it once too, and I'll bet you would agree. This place is where you want to be!

Cozy restaurant offering up tasty skewers and side dishes…read more Unlike the majority of Chinese skewer places where they cook your order in the kitchen, Golden Time has a rotating skewer grill at each table so the skewers cook in front of you. It's a cool twist since you can cook the beef and lamb to your liking. Some points to keep in mind with this table grill system... The heat from the table grill isn't as hot compared to many kitchens at other skewer restaurants (they're trying their best not to sear your face while you eat, after all). Because of this, there can be a pretty substantial wait time for your skewers to properly cook, depending on what type you order (chicken and pork especially). This wait time can be a major negative if you're really hungry because you have to sit there while the delectable items are slowly rotating right in front of your face... it's almost torturous. The table grill also doesn't hold that many skewers at once, so if you're eating with a group, the wait can be even longer before you're able to consume enough of the tasty morsels to satiate your inner hunger demon. Just be sure to order enough side dishes to fill the void between skewers. On the flip side, the downtime between skewers allows for quality conversation with friends and family; although, this can also be a negative if you're there with people you don't have much to say to since the meal would then be filled with a lot of awkward silence. But assuming you're there with people whose company you enjoy, this is where Golden Time really shines--it's a great place to meet with others to catch up over some tasty grub + drinks. I've never seen the staff rush any table due to the limits of the cooking system, so you can eat and drink comfortably throughout the night (they're open late). Also, be aware that the seats in front of the grill at some tables can get pretty hot, almost unbearably so. I would place the group members who are the most heat-resistant in those spots. Service has always been friendly and prompt whenever we stop by. The meat and other ingredients are seasoned well and seem to be high quality. I start craving their food again really soon after every visit (usually the next day)... always a good sign!

Tasty but somewhat pricy skewer place on Alexandra…read more Parking is pretty awful in this area. Best of luck. The place is pretty modern and trendy. The gimmick for this place is the conveyor grill system in each table that automatically rotates (rotisserie style) the skewers. More on this later. Service is decent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Maybe a bit too helpful. More on this later as well. The ordering is all done by QR code. Load up on the items, and someone eventually brings out a tray. Good: Selection is pretty decent. Prices are a bit high but still reasonable. Skewers are tasty. The grill thing is pretty novel. Makes for some good photos. Bad: The grill system frankly isn't very good. It's chain driven to automatically spin the skewers, but a) it's way too easy to place the skewers "wrong" such that the "gears" miss the chain, and b) the gaps between the skewer "grooves" are too close together, so adjacent skewers keep smacking into each other which stops the spinning. Friends and I basically had to babysit the thing. If we used every other groove, now we can only cook half as quickly. Knock 0.5 stars off. Oh yeah, the Oh yeah, my friends and I also ordered 1 of each skewer type to try, but the staff decided to come by and start swapping the order skewers randomly when placing the skewers despite our protests. This became a problem especially with the wings, where the different flavours started to look the same after grilling. To this day I don't know if I doubled up on a flavour. Definitely was not happy about this. Knock another 0.5 stars off. The other tip would be to order the individual hot pot to help keep costs down. The skewers honestly aren't that big. Overall we were mostly satisfied, but the aforementioned stuff honestly put a damper on the entire experience.
