When I came in I was standing slightly crooked. My muscles were tight and stretching was not helping very much. I booked with Lisa L. and had 80 minute deep tissue massage. After my massage my back was finally able to release all the tension it was holding and my back even popped because it was finally able to relax. I am so happy I found this place and I will definitely return anytime I am in need to a therapeutic massage. I was walking straight after I left here and I can't put a price tag on that! Lisa was amazing and receptive to my needs. She kept checking in about the pressure and worked with whatever I was needing in the moment. I highly recommend this place! They have a lot of therapists and extended hours.

I don't live in the area anymore but when I visit I will occasionally get my toes done here. I used to do gel on my toes but switched to regular polish in the last year for the health of nails. The nail tech did a neat job but as always at this place everything was so rushed. There was no waiting in between coats, and they actually kicked me out of the pedicure chair before the service was done because a bunch of people had walked in and they didn't want to lose the sales. The top coat ended up getting applied by the door of the shop and there was quite literally no wait time in between coats. This was 2 hours ago now, I had the ac in my car running on my feet the entire drive home and the polish is still gummy and wet because there was no time to dry between coats. What happened to the little fans to help dry coats faster? Or just allowing a little bit of time between coats as you're supposed to? I do respect these women as they pretty much all work 9-6 7 days a week. But I just can't justify the money spent here anymore when they're rushing your service to turn out as many people as possible and not taking pride in their work.

I decided to leave because they obviously didn't care to help me, after telling me I could come in. Don't waste your time. In the past I have had them, pass me to multiple people during manicure/pedicure. I'd rather just have one person.

If there is anything I wish they could change it would be to have more UV lay down Tanning Beds.

By far the best tattoo shop in Santa Cruz and that I have ever been to in the bay area. I get all my work done by Tim, however Aaron and Felipe are great artists and better yet just good all around people. Good Omen makes you feel welcome and is a great all around experience from when you first enter the door, to conversation, to movies, music, price and most of all the art!! I take the pieces I put on my body very seriously and they are all extremely meaningful to me. You can see that all three of these artists understand the magnitude of putting something on your body for life and they give it 110% to make sure they make it a piece you will be proud of. Its almost as if it's as meaningful to them as it is to me and for that reason I trust them with anything I bring in knowing I will walk away the happiest customer around. I will never go anywhere else ever again for as long as I continue to ink my body!! I can honestly say that I have made friends with all three artists in this shop and Tim is more than my tattoo artist. After reading all the wonderful reviews here, we decided to stop in at this shop. We met with Aaron about our tattoos we were thinking of getting. He was super friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home without judgement or any "cool guy" vibe, complete acceptance. I returned to the shop a few days prior to my scheduled appointment as I was super nervous and anxious about the tattoo process etc. Aaron once again greeted me with a great smile and friendly welcome, providing comfort around the whole process. He even showed me the tools that they use and explained the whole thing, which was super duper nice and beyond what I expected!! We (a friend and myself) returned a few days later to get our tattoos. I was very nervous, but again Aaron was so comforting and fun. He made me laugh so hard that I had to make myself not laugh during the tattooing. The other employees were hilarious as well, and they all fed off each other, cracking jokes, singing, being so happy doing what they love! 100% guarantee-no better tattoo shop or artists than Good Omen Tattoo. Very reasonable priced. I live an hour away and well worth the time and drive. Tim did a cover up on my wrist. When I went in to see Tim my original tattooo was raised and scarred from an alllergic reaction from over a year ago. Tim was able to cover it up and not only can you not tell it's a cover up, but it no longer looks raised or scarred. It's absolutely beautiful. They use organic ink which is completely safe with no worries of having any other reactions to ink. Both Tim and Aaron are talented artists and they both do amazing work. The quality and detail to their art brings your tattoo to life. The shop is clean, uncluttered, with beautiful antique decor. It's not like your typical tattoo parlor. Both Tim and Aaron are full of humor, and they keep you laughing the whole time your there. Definately the BEST artists and tattoo parlor around. Let me start off by saying, this is an excellent tattoo establishment that I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Back in May I visited Good Omen Tattoo on recommendation from a friend who had just gotten some beautiful ink done there a few months prior. I made my appointment over the phone in advance and started speaking with Aaron about my ideas. Aaron is a super friendly guy and drew up a great design of what I had envisioned and described via email ahead of time. When the day of my tattoo came, I got to the shop a bit early, and everyone was very friendly and helpful, and got me going with my paperwork. Aaron showed me what he drew up, and it was perfect. He copied the design onto some transfer paper, we figured out a good placement, and it was game on from there. Aaron is a funny dude, and chatting with him made the 2.5hour session fly by. He was great company, and a fantastic artist. I could not be happier with how my tattoo turned out, and I have been planning my next one ever since. read more

I just went to the new shop. I followed Aaron over from Staircase. These guys (Tim and Aaron) are doing things right over in the new shop. It is clean and they have awesome chairs. You might think that is a small thing, but when you are getting a tattoo how you are sitting makes a huge difference. I feel very comfortable with Aaron; he always uses new and clean tools and listens to my ideas to give me exactly what I want. He works quickly but he does not take any shortcuts in producing very high quality tattoos. He has been more than fair in his charges and he usually rounds down on the time I was in the chair. I did a lot of research before I got a tattoo and that led me to Aaron. I come over the hill from San Jose to get work down here. I am stoked that he has his own shop now. I is/was a first timer getting a tattoo. Went in on a whim after seeing all the positive reviews, and the Yelpers did not disappoint, nor did the place! Great attitude, clean, and easy going! My wife, who has ten tattoos, was also very impressed with the disposable equipment and the courtesy Aaron, who did my tattoo. Initially, I didn't think I was going to be able to get it done, because both Aaron and Tim were booked all day and we were only in town for the day--but Aaron's appt was only a consultation and he was able to fit me in and came up with a great design based on the idea I had. My wife watched what he was doing and said it looked like he had a light touch, which I guess he did because there wasn't nearly as much pain as I thought. If there is any tattoo shop I would recommend with no doubts about it, it's good omen! Every artist in the shop is very welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere is very fun and inviting. From our first tattoo to our 4th, we have had the most positive and amazing experience here. We've had the pleasure of being tattooed by Tim; but every artist here is incredibly talented. Each time we come for a tattoo it's amazing, and the care and time that goes into figuring out exactly what we want and the ideas to improve our pieces from the artists makes the experience a thousand times better. Awesome, professional, and personable. This is so ironic. My husband and I are from Sacramento and we were planning our wedding in Santa Cruz. We knew we wanted to get wedding tattoos to celebrate our big commitment to each other but being tourists, we had no clue where to go to get "good" work. The Good Omen had great reviews with pictures that wowed us. Now here I am writing a review. When we first arrived, their studio was amazing. The artwork around the shop was somewhat mesmerizing. There were three guys at the shop when we first arrived and every single one of them acknowledged us. Felipe helped my husband and Tim helped me. I adore Tim. He is kind, friendly, kooky, talented and willing to work with you. I give him crap because I feel like he doesn't have enough pictures showing his broad scope of artistic ability. He loves the black and white and portrait work, but personally, I don't like that stuff. He has done some killer work on me in color and is able to think outside the box. There was a reviewer on here that talked about clean and non-smoking artists. Tim is both and he doesn't waste your time with trying to be cool...no trying there, he just is. In a scene where folks think it's cool to be dicks, Tim is friendly and just the right amount of snarky and just basically kicks ass. He is worth your money and your time. :) read more

Loved the collaboration. I had an idea....it was unrealistic (no tattoos on palms of hands, or rings going all round a finger). Rather than put me off, Aaron described the dermatology of it, the chemistry of it, and options for getting the same idea across. All this because Aaron wants to get a quality tattoo on you, not something that will be short-lived and quickly fade/bleed into obscurity. In the end I had a much more informed sense of what I was getting and why. The end art was exactly what I initially didn't know I wanted, but was so happy to have. Thank you so much, Aaron. Dianne is one of the most talented tattoo artists in all of California! She did an incredible job creating and placing my largest tattoo. On top of all that, she went above and beyond to do additional follow-up with me to ensure the piece healed well. I will definitely be booking with her again at Good Omen. I got my second tattoo at this place, the first one was done by Aaron, he did a great job! Yesterday my hubby got his first tattoo by Tim and he also did an awesome job!, Mine was done by Felipe which, he was so detailed on the color and lines that it came out just plain beautiful! This place is really clean and the guys are so professional and have a great attitude. I will definitely recommend this place for those who are new on tattoing, the guys there take their time to understand what you want and they can give you ideas. Just went vacationing in Santa Cruz to celebrate our momma beth's birthday and the four of us decided to get tattoos. We found these guys on yelp, called and got an appointment the same day for all for of us. Right away you could tell these guys (Tim and Aaron) were really nice people. I've been thinking for a week how to write a review that can do justice to Tim and Aaron. Honestly, I can't. They are fantastic, friendly, talented, and entertaining. To put it in perspective, a year ago I had no tattoos, now I've got 50 hours under Tim's needle, and they have been some of the most enjoyable, and rewarding, days of the past year. It is obvious that it isn't really "work" for them, tattooing is something they love, and it comes out in their art, and their attitude. Beautiful new studio. Aaron Cooper has done amazing work for me over the years and is absolutely the most talented artist I know. The new diggs are amazing and I don't know any place you can relax in a comfortable recliner watching the movie of your choice on a huge flat screen. Love! Love! Just finished 4+ hours with Tim! My first time with him and he is talented friendly and a unique, clean shop! Tim quickly came up with a drawing and fit me in his schedule (after another artist canceled the morning of my appointment, I had waited almost 1 year). I'll post pics when finished! The only difficult thing here was trying to sit still when they had me rolling with laughter )) I can't wait for it to heal so I can go back to get it finished!! Tim has done all my portrait tattoos and everywhere I go, I'm constantly being told how good they look and asked who did my tattoos. Tim makes my portrait tattoos come to life. They look exactly like the photos and there is no question who I have tattoo'd on my arm. Tim's shop is spacious, clean, with amazing art and architectual design. One of the best shop experiences I've had . Brought my cousin for her first tattoo - and Aaron gave us AMAZING matching tattoos . The whole shop has a great vibe , and everyone is friendly . Aaron took us as a walk in , helped us finalize our decision, and we had great conversation while he did amazing work . I drove five hours for this appointment, only to be told an hour beforehand that I needed to come to his house instead of the shop -- no explanation, no prior notice. When I arrived, I was directed to a bedroom in someone else's house. It felt uncomfortable, but since I had trusted him before, I went along with it. He hadn't drawn up the design yet (despite it being a large, detailed piece), and after three hours, he had me sit in awkward, painful positions because he "didn't want to get the tattoo bed out." During the session, the conversation turned disturbingly inappropriate -- he bragged about hooking up with clients, talked explicitly about anal sex, and even shared a story about doing it in the room we were in. He also stated that he refuses to tattoo men because he finds them gross, which felt like a major red flag. He appeared to be under the influence -- red nose, constant sniffing, dilated pupils -- and what should've been a 4-hour session dragged into 9. After all that, over half of the tattoo fell out and had to be completely redone by another artist. I've been hesitant to speak up, but I feel a responsibility to warn others. I hope no one else ends up in a similarly unsafe and unprofessional situation.
