One thing I'd say is that it's often either empty-empty, or someone's in there already. It really matters whether you make an appointment or not, so don't be a bad planner and guarantee a spot for yourself. Walk-ins are either told to come back the next day, or are told to come back at a later time. Another important thing to be aware of is that Mike takes one day off a week, so (and I can't emphasize this enough) make an appointment. Overall, absolutely amazing service, experience, and quality. Every time I walk out of there, I feel like a brand new person. 11/10, have been coming here for ages and recommend you do the same

(I've added photos so you can see for yourself) For a place that charges a premium for a shave this was the worst shave of my life. I left with irritated skin and many cuts. I also had a fresh nose piercing that I told the barber beforehand and multiple times throughout to avoid touching. He ended up bumping into it three times and dragged a towel over it. I've been taking my brother to get his hair cut by Ryan for over a year now! My brother is the pickiest kid ever, but is always happy with his hair after seeing Ryan. He used to work at OB Barbershop and we followed him here after he opened up. He can do any style hair you want and can even do designs too. The barbershop has complimentary beer and water for while you're waiting and while you're getting your cut, and he even has lollipops for the kids! (Although I will always have one too lol). He plays fun music, is a great conversationalist, and the whole shop just has great vibes. When you find a barber you like, you'll follow him anywhere and for us, that's Ryan! I had a great experience at Good Vibes with Ryan as my barber. He was professional, detailed, and really made sure I left happy. This was my first time getting a steam shave and it was amazing. My neck is usually very sensitive and I often end up with cuts, but Ryan took his time and left it completely smooth and irritation free. The haircut was also exactly what I was hoping for. My wife loved how it looked and I'm very satisfied with it too. The whole service felt a step above any other barbershop I've been to. Awesome new Barbershop in OB! Got a full service cut with a straight razor finish. Probably the best haircut I've ever got. The barber is super chill and also the owner. The shop is brand new, has free parking (free parking by the beach! Whatttt?!), and there's even cold beer for you while you wait! If your still going to places like Supercuts, it's time to upgrade to a real barbershop. Check this place out and leave feeling 'so fresh and so clean'. read more

Went to check out Ryan's new digs. They were installing the kegerator as i arrived, so he skated to the liquor store and grabbed me an IPA so I wouldnt be thirsty for my cut. Great service, GREAT prices, and Ryan always makes me laugh.
