My husband and I ate at the Selinsgrove location on Sunday, June 26, 2016. The chili he ordered looked and tasted as if it was the last of the pot and had been reheated for days. My quesadilla was tasteless, even with sour cream and salsa. The restaurant stated it closed at 8 p.m. We went in at 7:00 and ordered a small meal. At 7:30, approximately 15 minutes or less after being served, the waitress was pushing the check on us --obviously because she wanted to close. The man who took our money at the register asked quickly if everything was alright and then became disinterested talking to someone else. This place was absolutely disgusting. By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. First, they gave us a broken high chair upside down to put our three month old in, then they gave us sprites that tasted like straight plastic. I thought I would get sick. My daughter went to the bathroom and said it smelled horrible and I didn't think anything of it until I went in. That bathroom has not been cleaned in months and smelled of old period and feces. The food was so disgusting that we couldn't even eat it. I got a baked potatoe and it was black and soggy and a roll that wa so hard I couldn't bite it. My husband got a burger and refused to eat it after one bite bc he thought he would get food poisoning it was so bad and believe me, we were starving and not picky people when it comes to food but this was so bad we couldn't bare it. Our bill was $40 which I couldn't believe bc we serve better food to residents in a nursing home and when we gave them a $4 tip bc it was HORRIBLE they actually gave us dirty looks and scoffed at my husband. Worst service I've ever had!!!! My husband and I arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Upon entering Good Wil's we noticed a sign that said "Seat Yourself"...so we did. A waitress came to the table and said "What do you want to drink" so we asked for water. A few minutes later, she came back holding her pad to take an order and literally just stood there--didn't say a word. We ordered breakfast and my husband asked to substitute French fries for the homefries. The waitress said "I don't know if we can do that"...took a moment before she just walked away (I assume to check on it), came back a few minutes later and said "we'll try but I'm not sure it's gonna work ". When our food finally arrived, the order was completely screwed up...wrong food on wrong plates. I stumbled around and said "ummm...he got my eggs...could we have another plate". My husband said we'll just switch things around and she (once again no help) just turned around and walked away from us. NO APOLOGY, NO OFFER TO HELP, NOTHING!!!! She made great efforts to check on the tables around us, filled their drinks, etc. We got NOTHING. The waitress was obviously NOT having a bad day since other customers were being treated so well. Not quite sure what her problem was with us. I can assure you that we were great customers--easy going and polite. The food was actually good, but the service was horrible. had lunch today. the liver & onions very good. the hamburger was a frozen patty. why? if it's a mom and pop place. should be fresh. all in all not a bad place. very clean . donna's rest. in williamsport ,pa should come here and teach the help at her place how to have a clean place. donna's is a dirty rest. compared to good will's. read more

I am not impressed by the Selinsgrove location. There is no atmosphere. No music. Decor isn't warm and welcoming either. Lots of senior citizens. I guess for the cheap bland food. I have eaten at the Northumberland location before it was torn down and it was ok and at the Montandon location and the food was good but that was years ago. Wish I wouldn't have tried the new location. The service is horrible. They should have the hostess take your drink order because it took the waitress forever. Hostess did not smile at all and she barely spoke to us. Waitress never checked back on us or refilled our drinks. She was ok as far as pleasantness. Some random other person did ask if everything was ok at one point. My food was ok but my daughter's food was terrible. Her cheese fries had a thick Cheese-wiz type sauce that wasn't even good and the fries tasted like the cheapest you could buy frozen in bulk. Half her wrap she couldn't even eat because she said it didn't taste good. I got the club and it was ok but the fried were not. I felt sick after I got home. Not sure if it was from the bad food or horrible dining experience or what. Maybe a combo of everything. Some guy checked us out. Not a smile given either. He was too busy talking to all the waitresses but he did ask if everything was ok. I didn't complain but I should have. I just wanted out of there. Lots of better places to choose from to eat.
