Very good custard. Lots of selection and everything I tried has been delicious. Service was fast enough given they are always crowded.

A nice place to stop and take a break. Goodberry's offers several different options to choose from. This includes no sugar added vanilla, chocolate and the flavor of the day. Yesterday was Pina Colada. I had the chocolate, it was creamy and soft. I would rate it a solid 4. The service was pretty fast and our server was nice and understanding. I would say a 4 again. There is only outdoor seating and there were several places to sit. It was kept up. Even though it is a more or less take out place, it has restrooms in the rear. That's always a plus! If you are craving some frozen custard, then go over to Goodberry's and stop that crave. I think you will enjoy it. read more

It was a beautiful fall day so we decided to stop and get some frozen custard at Goodberrys. I had my boys with me so I opted for something basic vanilla with sprinkles but sometimes basic is best! You walk up and order at the window and it only took a minute and then our order was up. They noticed I had young kids with me and offered me extra spoons, a cup and napkins. I am allllll about goodberrys! I've been going to this location since I was a kid. My mom comes to visit now and we always make a trip there. They mainly have vanilla and chocolate, but you can mix your toppings to make whatever you want. They have a daily flavor too that roared through. Depends on what day you get there. I love the chocolate custard! They claim to use clean ingredients and you can absolutely tell!!! I love adding brownies to mine (extra ones too). So yummy. My grandma loves the sandstorm concrete! If you're visiting Raleigh/Wake Forest you need to try Goodberry's! It's our local frozen custard place and we love it! It's so creamy and I love trying all the different flavors each day. My favorite 'flavors of the day' are raspberry, blueberry, banana pudding and choc chip cookie dough! My husband loves the regular chocolate! If you haven't been there before here's how it works: they only have chocolate, regular vanilla, no-sugar-added vanilla and the 'flavor of the day'. You can add any topping to the regular flavors and they will mix it for you. For example, if you want strawberry flavor, get the vanilla custard mixed with fresh strawberries. I like making mine with the vanilla custard and choc chip lightly mixed (their choc chip is melted chocolate that will get hard when mixed with the cold custard). I also like chocolate shake with chocolate chips and vanilla custard with brownies mixed in and hot fudge on top. Yum! To know the 'flavor of the day' you can check the calendar at the window or go online to their website. They have different cups sizes, regular cones and chocolate dipped cones with sprinkles (my favorite!). You can also choose shakes or the specialty sundaes (I recommend the Brownie sundae). - You can try some of the custard before ordering. The creation of hot chocolate isn't a very arduous or time consuming task so after 5 minutes a sense of confusion set across the group, all with the same question, Where is Matt's hot chocolate? After a considerable time of 10 minutes 48 seconds, hurrah, Matt's hot chocolate arrived. We thought our troubles ended there but we were sadly mistaken. I went for something similar to a dairy q blizzard, ice cream mashed up with essentially whatever toppings you wanted swirled all together in one amazing concoction! Both times I ended up getting a vanilla custard with peaches, almonds, Carmel swirl which was amazing! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was how fast it starts melting, it felt like within 15 minutes my frozen custard was more like custard soup!
