I've been going to Goodfellas for a long time, but this morning the service was absolutely ridiculous. Something I've noticed over the last couple of months. Several staff members were too busy chatting with one another and there doesn't seem to be any supervision. I ordered a simple burrito with hashbrowns and I finished my burrito before the hashbrowns were delivered. The person I was with got cold hashbrowns and cold eggs. When we told the server about the issue, she just said sorry. The place also needs some remodeling. The boot seats are breaking down and the place could definitely need some serious cleaning. read more

Our party of 2 had a hankering for pancakes at 2:30 in the afternoon, so we decided to give Goodfella's a try. I'm sure we'll be back. :) The service was especially friendly and fast, and we genuinely appreciated our server's good humor. The ambience was quiet, eclectic and funny; comfy booths available. We ordered a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, and of course, pancakes. The bacon was actually the star of the show, so good I'd go back just for that. I like supporting small businesses and Goodfellas seemed like a good start today. Diner atmosphere which I like. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. They even have take-home pies and oversized cinnamon rolls. MeTV was playing 1950s sitcoms and the music was from the 50s - 70s. Goodfella's is a solid diner and a good place for breakfast. I love diners. Yelp led me here and it was a good recommendation. I get the feeling that very few tourists come here. The crowd seemed local and the staff knew all of them. There was a slight wait to be seated but in less than 15 minutes, we had a table and were ordering. Service was very friendly and surprisingly prompt based on how busy they were. There were funny dad-style jokes written in each booth which I greatly appreciated. Now I have new material to make people groan at my cheesiness. The Denver omelet was perfectly done and had a great filling-to-egg ratio. That is key in omelets and if there is too much egg they are no good. You have the option of a chili-style sauce which I recommend. It is very common out west but uncommon back home. I don't even know what it is but it is good. Pricing was comparable to other breakfast joints. If you find yourself in Longmont, you should eat here. read more

Diner food done right! If you are looking for an elevated, snooty brunch, don't come here. However, service is always fast. Food is yummy. Omelettes and home fries good with toast and jam from those little plastic single serve containers. Last time I was there I noticed that the half and half was a pseudo milk, but I can deal with that. Placed order online for pickup through their website- 1:16pm. Email said pickup at 1:36pm. I got stuck in traffic. Arrived at 1:45pm. Hostess said my order just came through it would be, about 15 minutes. At 2:19pm got another email said food was ready. So I patiently waited. At 2:29 I was finally given my food. After I asked for a 2nd time. Don't recommend using their website. Also staff was rude and no one inquiried, why I was sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes. read more

I was in the area and a bit hungry. This place, though in the out lot of a strip mall, looked inviting. The entrance is covered with community notices, an eating challenge victory (and failure) wall, and other stuff. Seems like they are inviting to the locals which is great! I was greeted and seated quickly. A person brought over water and the waitress, Brandy, came over shortly after. I ordered what I thought I could eat - a 4 egg omelet and a side of pancakes. It didn't take a long time to get the food. It looked and smelled wonderful. I then tried to pace myself but since I LOVE breakfast any time of the day it was tough. Brandy checked on me now and then without being pushy. I was never left wanting water refill or extra napkins. Locals started wandering in and I felt like I was in Cheers (ie "Norm!"). I think it speaks highly of a place when they get a loyal following. I, too, might make this a regular stop if I lived in the area. read more

I love the diner atmosphere at Goodfella's The staff is well trained and considerate,. The vegetable beef soup is delicious , c I have a couple of favorites, chicken fried chicken with real mashed potatoes! Yummy! I love the Rueben too! Tender corned beef on swirled rye,wow! But last week the chicken pot pie was so disappointing, mostly peas and carrots with lots of gravy. It was recommended by our waitress, I was going to have the Rueben, but thought I'd give the chicken pot pie a try. I've never left hungry from good fellas but did last week. I visited Goodfella's for breakfast one morning - it's a greasy spoon diner - and apparently a bakery. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy, and a sausage patty. Plus coffee and water. The sausage gravy was rather disappointing - it had very little flavor. The gravy could have been anything. It needed a major sausage infusion. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage patty was tasty. Coffee was good enough. Service was good. I'd come back and try something else on the menu. #GoodfellasDiner read more

So impressed with this little diner! We accidentally came upon in it after coming from a different place and never getting waited on. We were seated instantly and waited on by the sweetest waitress! We got a delicious HUGE warm cinnamon roll for $4.99 it was so awesome! Then shared a club sandwich and fries. My mother and I came in and ordered a cake to go from this restaurant on sunday and before I start to eat it i call them to make sure there are no tree-nuts in this cake because I am deathly allergic. The man I was speaking to (who I later found out was the general manager) assured me there were no nuts. I ate the cake and later on I start to feel my throat start to swell up and I begin having an allergic reaction to tree-nuts and have to use my epipen. My dad looks at the cake I was eating and further examines to find a whole bunch of nuts in the frosting and in the middle of the cake. We then called back to let them know what had happened and when the manager spoke to me he said "You asked about the cake, not the frosting" , I then told him once again he could have killed me in which he replied "You're being redundant" and hung up on me. Around 3am the next morning I started having a grand mal seizure and was throwing up until 10 that morning. I normally enjoy this place. The service is good, but last night I ordered eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was awful. It was not creamy at all. I just picked the egg and meat aside and ate that. The hash browns were overdone also- way too crunchy. read more
