Let me start with this - we were very happily greeted by a girl with a great smile. Our waitress was great. My Son ordered the chicken fingers ( he wasn't very hungry - he's a man) and said he was really disappointed. Said he has never had anything bad here until tonight. I ordered a build your own pizza. They forgot a couple of items but the waitress realized it and said "I have him making a new one, why not just start with this so you have something" Loved that. Here is my only note: The pizza although tasty had a crust that needed to be cooked longer. I had everyone try a piece and they all agreed. It's not that it wasn't cooked, just not long enough. The hand tossed pickle pizza was really good, the thin crust sausage and pepperoni not as much so, the chicken strips were tender and tasty, but I definitely would not recommend the French fries. A hidden gem. This is the 2nd time we've gone. We live in Lakeville and always forget this place exists. When we stay at the Holiday Inn we venture here. It's SOOO yummy. Our server Zach was upbeat, friendly and attentive. We ordered waffle fries (yummy perfect crunch to it) and a 14in traditional crust pizza. We didn't want it to end. Ordered online said it would be 25 minutes. Arrived after 25 minutes. Sat there another 25 minutes waiting for my order to be ready. 50 minutes for a Togo order when I could have had it delivered in a hour. Then on my way home down the freeway checking my order I notice I was missing my seasoned sour cream for my appetizer waffle fries I ordered for 10 bucks that looked like there was about 15 fries in that order ( so not worth the 10 bucks) especially without season sour cream. I wasn't going to turn back and get my seasoned sour cream since the next exit is 4 miles down the road! I called the restaurant and and all I got was we cant guarantee how long your online order will take. I was more mad about me paying for my seasoned sour cream and didnt get it...needless to say, I did say a few words and hung up on the dude, next time...do better. Soooo disappointed tonight. Really almost embarrassed, as we picked up pizza to have with friends who had never had their pizza. We have been here many times in the last 6 years and have absolutely loved the pizza but the last 6 months the quality has gone way down. Ordered 2 pizzas and one had the crust hardly even cooked. This time and twice before we had requested the pizza be cut in squares and both times they ignored our request even though this time I reinerated how important this was and was promised they would do it. Tastes just like what it is supposed to be. It was $19.99 for a 14 inch pizza. It was worth the price and yummy. My husband and I both loved the gyro pizza. Our server was friendly and fast. They were out of the reuben bites, and most of the other apps sounded like something you could get any where else. I want to come back some other time to try their breakfast or fish fry because they both looked good. The menu offers pastas, burgers, sandwiches, and lots of other options. I've enjoyed a couple more visits; I tried the pizza, pretty good, I am very picky about my pizza sauce, I don't like it strong or too acidic....an Italian lady told me to mix a couple pinches of sugar in the sauce to remove the "burn." I had to give them a 2 only because whenever we go there we have OK service. The wait staff is always really pleasant, but I always feel they are understaffed . Normally the pizza is great. Not overly greasy and an abundance of flavors to suit any one persons needs. Tonight the think crust was burnt and took well over an hour to get to us. The restaurant itself is well kept. My wife and I drove down to Lakeville to meet up with some friends. Goodfellas is off 35W in a small strip mall. We entered and it is a 6 tap bar/pizza place, but we took a left and entered the more dining area. I turned on the lights. The menu is pretty extensive. Lots of sandwiches, pizzas, salads, etc. I ordered the 10" pizza with light cheese, chicken, jalapeno, and tater tots. The crust came out nice and crispy with a solid melt on the cheese. Very tasty. I really enjoyed the sliced up tater tots. They seemed twice the girth of a regular tater tot and wonderfully crispy. Good stuff. The sauce was full tomato on. My friend's kid got the corn dog bites with fries. I had a fry, nothing special at all, but the corn dog bites were yummy. I know both were probably frozen, but the corn dog bites were fantastic. I had a Summit EPA and an a rare Anchor Steam Beer, nice touch on the Anchor. My wife got a no cheese pizza with basil and carrots. The sauce really came out. I think it may be real homemade. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after a stressful day at work. Someone cranked the music so loud on a Monday evening at 7:30pm my husband and I couldn't even hear eachother. We asked the bartender if she could turn it down and she said she couldn't because the owner was the one that turned it up... ‍. Bottom line, 2 stars because the pizza was amazing, but the atmosphere wasn't enticing for a Monday evening. We had to box our pizza and leave. Goodfellas is a-ok. I'm not a fan of the chicken they use or the burgers, but the pizza is good. Not worth driving out of your way for, but worth it if you're in the area. There's usually a drink or app special every day. Service can be hit or miss. Great place to watch sports. At time of this review, they offer trivia on Tuesday nights. I frequent here on a regular basis and it isn't because I love the closest! I used to work across the street so it was convenient for me but found that that isn't the only reason I enjoy coming here! The pizza is amazing and they have so many specialty pizzas it really shows creativity, like they have a tatertot hotdish pizza, a pot roast pizza and a gyro pizza! The crust is my favorite. I also love the fried cauliflower! But hands down my favorite item on the menu is the French dip! The staff is also very friendly and it's nice to see the owners there on a regular basis too! As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster. Whatever I expected going to Goodfellas on a Friday night, Goodfellas did not deliver. Literally. When we walked in, it kind of felt like the bar scene in the movie when Henry walks in and everyone stopped talking... No one died during my visit, but you get the point. We stopped in to case the joint and I decided it would be smart to order a pizza off of their extensive pizza menu. The Wild game was on but I was so distracted by all of the drama going on with the staff, I couldn't even focus on the tv. It seemed as though all of the women working hated each other. At one point, one of them even took off through a door in the bar with another on her heels yelling for her to come back. They were picking at each other for washing the glasses wrong and putting dirty dishes in the wrong place. It was just weird. Also, it just kind of felt like an armpit to me. The walls are bright red (chipping away in some places) and there was a martini/ wine glass rack directly in front of us full of dusty glasses. To the right of where we were sitting, there is a six tier shelf full of crap. Dishes, utensils, menus. It was unsightly and very odd. We were only in the bar area so I'm not sure what the restaurant area looked like. The pizza was fine, had lots of cheese and toppings but wasn't stand out by any means. We stopped into Goodfellas today to grab some lunch before we hit the lake. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken Parmesan sandwich the marinara was fresh the chicken was crispy and the provolone was perfectly melted. It's a local place, and the food is fine. Pizza is okay, good selection of choices, and relatively fresh. The ambiance of thte place is in the lower half of the lower third of the spectrum...I prefer to carry out and reheat it at home over eating it there. It's loud, and doesn't have a clean feel to it. The service is below second rate. the staff appears untrained, uneducated, competitive, and act like somebody is "making" them work there - like work release or something.
