Perfect way to start to my day. I ordered a flat white with oat milk. The espresso was so smooth and perfect, no bitterness at all. It felt like a hug in a cup. I also tried their good stuff bagel, which has eggs, cream cheese, avocado and turkey meat on an everything bagel. I was satisfied with the sandwich, but I would try something else next time. Service was amazing. The barista, Bridget, was super friendly and makes excellent coffee! The cafe is tucked away in a big shopping plaza, where there's lots of parking. There is some seating inside and outside. The seats don't look comfy enough to sit down for extended periods of time. More of a place to chat for a bit and go on. So... I never really go out of my way to complain or give a bad ratting to a business because we all have bad days! However, if I go out of my way to pay extra for something to be added to my meal I expect it to be in my meal. I called ahead to place the order around 1pm (they close at 2pm). I get there to get my order & the individual making my order seemed a little rushed, the place was pretty empty when I arrived! Anyways, I get my Bagels & head out to my car. I open a bagel to eat it, only to find NO AVOCADO & NO CHEESE, Yellow romaine lettuce, & an oversized egg white, making the bagel appear bigger than expected. I then head back over to request for avocado, only to find the individual rushing while making my Bagel sitting down chitchatting with an individual who was waiting in the lobby while I waited for my order. I actually found this place a couple years back and was supposed to go to Starbucks, but came here instead because the vibe was cute. Pleasantly surprised by the matcha, it was so good! Really bad service. And a bad attitude to go with the bad service. I NEVER leave bad reviews, and I have gone out of my way to leave good reviews. I wish I could take back the tip we pay on the front end, which is somehow supposed to help with service and quality of product on the back end. I guess? Anyway, there was no one here, hardly any customers, so there wasn't even an excuse. EDIT to address the response: My complaint at the time was that my *$7.50 coffee was served cold, and I politely asked if it could be microwaved as a solution, since all I wanted was a hot coffee, and I wasn't trying to be difficult. I waited at least 15 minutes, and I didn't mind the wait. I checked in twice to see if it was ready. The third time was the charm. It was sitting on the counter with no lid, and they said they called it 5 times. It must have been 5 times in 30 seconds because I'd literally just checked in a minute before. Also the other drink I was waiting for still wasn't ready, so there's that, as well. I think it's reasonable to expect a gourmet coffee to be served hot. What I got back from the barista (?) manager (?) was rude attitude. That's when I mentioned that the tip I gave at purchase was with the expectation that I would be provided good service, and that I wished I could take it back. I didn't actually request my tip back, but I'm not mad that *you say* it's been refunded, that's for sure. As of now, I don't see it reflected on my card, but if you say it's true, I'll take you at your word. Still not coming back. I can get good coffee almost anywhere else, and I can't remember ever having anything close to this horrible experience anywhere else. read more

Meh it was ok. Interior has a nice color schematic but cheap furniture. The staff are standoffish and act kind of snooty. They don't give a warm welcoming atmosphere. The coffee doesn't taste high quality. When asking questions about their food and coffee the guy ringing us up either didn't know much or didn't want to continue talking to us because he would give short answers. I've been to MANY coffee shops all over different states and the quality is nowhere near coffee in Portland or Seattle. I don't mind paying for fancy lattes but the quality is just not there so our visit will be one and done. Also we ordered a gluten free banana loaf and without asking if we wanted it warmed, they automatically warmed it using the same appliance they use for their non-gluten free pastries. My boyfriend couldn't eat it, we threw it away.... So be careful if you have celiac. read more

My wife's iced chai was watered down with their use of crushed ice and my Ethiopian coffee was served lukewarm... My iced latte was an EXPERIENCE! I don't say this lightly. I am known for finding and sharing all of the best coffee spots. Goodfellows is now on the list! I live nowhere near this coffee shop and discovered it while switching freeways on a road trip. You have to try the Iced Vanilla latte with Salted Cream. We ordered the morning bagel and the croissant sandwich. The service does take sometimes because it was pretty crowded. It looks like people come here for coffee and hang out with pals. What I like about the bagel was that they used egg white. The croissant has ham and cheese inside so probably easy for kids to eat. Moved to the Cypress area just over 2 years ago, been coming to this spot consistently since then. Never had a bad drink, and always find exceptional service from staff and management. I rotate between getting cortados, flat whites, and the occasional iced flavored latte, each of which always delicious. Wasn't sure what to order but the nicest barista, Abril, helped me out. I am a big fan of matcha but I have never tried it with Yuzu Lemonade. I ordered the red velvet latte which tasted just like a mocha latte no real difference to me. I didn't like that there cup sizes for a large is the size of a medium at every other coffee ahop. I got the food morning bagel. The bagel is not toasted at all. The bagel is very chewy to eat. The egg was egg whites only with no yolk for some reason. 5 STARS. The Iced Cookie Butter Latte was delicious! In my opinion, the sweetness level was perfect and the drink had just the right amount of ice so that the coffee wasn't watered down over time. I also ordered the Rooster Bacon Burrito which came with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and (I think) avocado. This was amazing and there was a great balance between all ingredients, unlike other places that add way too many potatoes and nothing else. Goodfellows also offers a vegetarian option of the breakfast burritos for those who don't eat meat. HELPFUL TIP- You NEED to try the burrito with the green sauce that they give you. It's not spicy but is packed with flavor. Trust me, just try it. There's a modest amount of seating and the cafe is overall pretty clean. Such an awesome experience from the ordering to the pickup. I called in to order a salted cream matcha with oat milk. They were able to take my card information over the phone, and when I walked in, my order was ready. It couldn't have been more perfect timing. I was scared at first because at first glance I thought it was whipped cream on top, but after tasting I realized it was the most delicious salted cream foam! It was perfectly salty and the matcha wasn't overly sweet or grassy, which I appreciated. The workers were so kind, and the coffee shop was super cute too! I definitely want to try more of their drinks. They had such a big variety of food too, including vegan options which was awesome. Both were absolutely phenomenal! $6 for the bagel was a steal, and $10 for the burrito was respectable. My girlfriend and I got a vanilla latte with oat milk and a hot chocolate. The vanilla latte was great, but the hot chocolate tasted pretty bland. The atmosphere was pretty cool, and the service was pretty fast. Over all, I highly recommend it Good Fellows! read more

I love finding new coffee spots when I visit home, and Goodfellows definitely made that list. I ordered the Mexican Mocha with Oatmilk and it was so good! Not too milky or overly sweet, and you can tell they use really great espresso. My niece had the chocolate chocolate muffin, which of course she loved! They also had Chocolate Oatmilk for kids which I thought was awesome -- lactose intolerant 6 year old me would've appreciated that (if only they had it when I was a kid)! I also had the bacon, egg and cheese bagel aka the Morning Sandwich and it definitely checked all the boxes. I'm a tough grader when it comes to a bacon, egg, and cheese after living in NYC for a bit. Not only did this bagel come out piping hot and the egg to cheese to bacon ratio was spot on, the price was great ($5.75). I'm so used to over priced bagels that are just okay, but this was worth every penny. They have some nice indoor and outdoor seating too, but I do wish they had some more cafe tables inside and not just the bar seating/lounge seating. The lavendar and honey latte was good, but I was pretty disappointed by the cookie butter latte. I love cookie butter so any time I see that flavor on any menu - whether for cakes, drinks, or other desserts - I have to get it. Unfortunately I could hardly taste the cookie butter flavor in my latte, which tasted mainly of oat milk. Our new favorite is actually the brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk from Starbucks and they were able to replicate it with less sugar.
