    1. The smoothie tasted delicious! The donuts were fluffy! The breakfast croissant was heavy and cheesy! 2. The spot has fast casual vibes as you can only order and go! No dine-in! 3. The staff were friendly and quick with my drink! Note: There is a 4% additional charge for all credit card transaction! Cash is preferred! Photo: Green Tea Smoothie, Donuts, Breakfast Croissant

Nothing like ordering a breakfast croissant and getting one that was pre made hours ago with soggy bread...

    - in short: delicious food and most friendly customer service I ordered one glazed donut today and was given four extra with it for free! The donut was super fluffy and also thick. Even though I walked in at 4:30pm just before closing time, the donut was still fresh and the man who served me was very quick to serve and helpful. I went back for more the next morning for donuts for a class party. I ordered a dozen and they threw in one extra! I also ordered a bagel sandwich which was good. They also offered a sample of Vietnamese iced coffee which was delicious! I like this place.

What was surprising was their banner said, Grand Opening Dec 29, 2025 and the store sign was Fresh Bagels and Cafe, so I was a bit confused. Well, it was bagels I was looking for so I gave them a try. Upon going in, the place felt brand new, the smell of fresh bagels, and a very eager and helpful staff. I got the spinach and Parmesan bagel, jalapeño Cheese and a plain cheese bagel and of course some cream cheese to go with my bagels. The place is very nice and spacious and next time I'm in the area, I might have to eat in. As for the name, apparently the Blue Mountain Bagels permanently closed and Fresh Bagels and Cafe opened here. Now they have a location in Buena Park, but I'm not sure if that's still open or not, however their Yelp page is still here. So hoping they create a new one for this GG location or update it.

Unfortunately, I really regret ordering the iced latte--it didn't taste good at all, and I felt like I wasted $7 on it. I honestly wish I had just gone to the nearby Starbucks for better quality at a similar or even better price. I might come back for the bagels, but I would definitely avoid ordering coffee here again.

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

It gives a great caffeine boost, keeps me going, and is honestly just enjoyable to drink. The shop has a simple, casual vibe and it was nice and quiet when I went because of the time of day. I've passed by before during the early morning hours though, and it can get pretty busy, which says a lot about the place. Parking is convenient, and it's easy to get in and out. Service was prompt, and my drink was made pretty quickly after ordering. I also love that they seal the cup with the vacuum-style top so you can pop the straw through. It really helps prevent spills when you're on the go. This is officially my favorite spot for Vietnamese iced coffee, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend checking them out!
