Just hearing the name Goodnight Auto on Easy street makes you feel at ease. Trusting people with your car can be a little nerve-wracking, but how can you go wrong on Easy Street? I have come year over the years and have never been let down. I will cut to the point and declare I don't know enough about automobile repair or mechanic vernacular to ramble on about how well they treated my engine, brakes or steering wheel. BUT I do know that every time I call they remember who I am, which probably speaks to my awesome driving :), or they just have great customer service. Being a small, family run business they are so personable and tell you to come in immediately. No appointment required. I might realize that other auto repair places might do the same, but they actually check your car out upon arrival. It doesn't just sit in a garage for a week until they tell you it will be another few weeks as they are 'waiting on a piece.' I have always wondered if they just say that sometimes to cover the tracks of their procrastination? After your car is repaired in a timely fashion you leave Easy Street even more happy because their prices are so reasonable. They repair what is necessary and don't try to talk you into purchasing or repairing something that is probably not a priority. I went in to get my brakes fixed and asked them to give me an estimate on my power steering pump that had been giving me problems, Not only was the brake job reasonable but they drained and cleaned up my pump to new condition again @ no charge ! Worst experience ever. I went up there to have my throttle cleaned. When I called first they called me a sir since my voice is deep I'm a woman. Don tells me to come to only be told come back at lunch,something he could of told me before I drove to the office. I then leave come back he ask why I want it clean I said my light came on because of throttle I would to clean it and see if that works. He takes my keys doesn't introduce his self RUDE,I walk outside ask him his name give him mine. I told him why I want the throttle clean he said he can clean it but that won't fix my problem. I told him that was suggested and he said" I'm a honest guy sounds like people are taking your money I don't need your money. You had it checked so go back to the same people to check it again". Don was very rude for my first time meeting him. If I had someone to check it I would of never came to them. Don is very egotistical doesn't matter who first checked it what matters is I asked you for a service regardless of you want my money or not you should of provided the service. My first experience with them was when I was told by another repair shop my SUV needed $3,000 worth of repairs, then when I took it over to Goodnight Automotive for a 2nd opinion, I found I only needed $300 worth of repairs. A friend suggested them, so I went, they gave a quote and WOW. I have to say they are honest, efficient, friendly, reliable and will always fix ONLY what needs repaired. Unlike other repair shops, they repair my SUV and nothing else goes wrong with it like other shops. I was referred to Goodnight's Automotive by a co-worker. I was told that they were honest and fair so I decided to give them a call to see about getting my AC recharged. Not only did they help in servicing the AC but they did it at a cost much lower than many of the other places I've called. Skipping forward to the part where I was able to pay over the phone so I could pick up the car after hours....I told them to go ahead and lock the key in the car and I would use my spare. Long story short, I remembered I had the spare in the car already. Oops. I was going to call a locksmith but called them first the next day to let them know what I've done. They tried to get into the car for me but when they couldn't, they gave me some great advice on how to save some money by checking with the car dealer to get a key to just unlock the door vs. having to pay someone$70-$100 to open it for me. I didn't realize you can do this...so i went down to the dealership and paid $17.50 for a key to unlock my door. Pat, one of the owners, called me to check up on me to see if they were able to help. Bottom line, I really felt like they work hard to do a good job, are honest to their customers and go beyond what they really need to. I will definitely be going back to them when my car needs some TLC. read more

I have used Don Goodnight for over 20 years. Numerous times other garages have quoted prices to repair my car. Once a quote of $420 to repair my air conditioner. Don fixed it for $9.00. I was quoted $1650.00 to repair ball joints and front end problems. Don inspected everything and charged me $275.00 for total repairs. He said I did not need 75% of the parts the other garage had listed. I thought I had a water pump that had gone out. Took my car to three garages who confirmed my water pump was out. Got quotes of $225 to $310 to replace the water pump. When Don inspected my car, he told me it was the idler pulley making all of the noise, repaired it for $15.00 and I drove the car for two more years. Don Goodnight is a very honest man, stands behind his work, and I would not think of using a different mechanic. read more
