St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores aren't my favorite -- I've never had particularly good luck…read morethere, the inventory never seems great, and their regular prices often seem high (perhaps to offset their 50% off storewide sales). So I hadn't gone out of my way to visit this store until I happened to be in the area... and nothing about it changed my mind. This store is off the beaten path, but it is pretty large inside. It's basically like a warehouse inside, with cement floors and not much personality. Unfortunately, like many St. Vinnie's, the store felt understocked. The wall of purses had just a few hanging up, and there were large open spaces between the underfilled racks. Maybe I'm just used to Goodwill, where the racks are filled to overflowing, but it felt somewhat sad and picked-over, especially in the housewares section. (They were having a 50% off sale that day, so I'm sure it *was* fairly depleted at that point.) The one area where I think St. Vinnie's stores DO excel is their books. They tend to have large book/media areas with surprisingly new, good titles, often hardcovers, for good prices -- and they're a bargain at 50% off. But this store's book selection was not as good as other stores, and I didn't find anything I wanted to buy, even at half off. So, overall, not one of the better St. Vinnie's in the​ area, and not one that I'd go out of my way to come back to.

Burien Goodwill does not accept donations and at their leisure. I went there today and they said…read morethey are closed for an hour. I did not have that much and it was good stuff. But they told me I have to come back later. My time and my gas money wasted. They don't care. They do this at Radom. No website notification no organization. I refuse to go back. My stuff will now go to the dump. We donate the goods that give them a paycheck, a job, job training and they refuse the the goods that employ them. Bad choice management. Not smart. It makes no sense to turn away the gold that give you a job.

Sidewalk was full of specials including buy one get one free paintings/art. I got a pair of framed prints for $4 total and they still had the $40 Fred Meyer stickers on their backs!!! Inside the store I found a gorgeous pair of Kenneth Cole black slacks that after discount were $.50. I was brave since I couldn't try them on since they don't offer dressing rooms. But tried them on at home & they're perfect. Love the fact that my purchases help animals in need.

I will say that on my particular visit today, in the month of October 2024 that when I came into the shop five of the six women who were working there spent the entire time visiting with one another and catching up, especially even I believe the manager. They just seemed a lot of chit chat going on rather than servicing the store. Several areas could use some help as far as organizing and consolidating, particularly the office supplies and bath supplies. Also the book room, and other miscellaneous areas. Perhaps volunteers could focus on serving the store by attention to organization which might help improve their sales.

Today my daughter and I went to donate clothing to Value Village and a full sized boxed truck from Treasures in Heaven was in line in front of us. Once they pulled up to the unloading area it and started to unload in became apparent this was a loaded full box truck, unloading for well over 30 minutes while cars piled up in line and the driver and passenger did very little to assist in the unloading process while the entire VV team worked their butts off. I doubt the fact people are donating to this Christian organization and simply having it turned over to Value Village is what people donating are hoping for. This is also incredibly rude behavior on behalf of Treasures as the line is nearly out of the parking lot, people are abandoning the line foregoing donating. Many of the boxes are taped shut so the VV workers have to open them prior to accepting them slowing the process further. Treasures is dumping their unwanted inventory at the Issaquah Value Village, holding up the line, hogging up the employees and inconveniencing dozens of people simply trying to do a nice thing. I'm writing this review because I find this behavior extremely unbecoming of Treasures and likely deceptive to those donating there, furthermore it is inconsiderate on multiple levels.

The sheer volume of items on the floor and shelves makes this place a bit overwhelming, and I couldn't find any organization as far as their books go so if you love a long riffling through heaps of stuff then this is your place, but if you like more of an organized and accessible experience this is definitely a place I would skip. The prices range from a couple dollars, to $7.99 for most clothing, and up depending on the item. I'd say they're asking higher end for things, similar to a current Goodwill. I went on a holiday where the parking lot was packed with street parking full as well. I didn't see people with loads of things they were buying. For instance, an older genuine leather credit card and checkbook holder (I.e. not a complete wallet) was priced at $20. Used David's Bridal formals at $60-$80. Keep in mind that any used formal will need to be cleaned before wearing, which adds to the price of buying a used dress. David's Bridal sells bridesmaids dresses with two different webpages on their website. Dresses under $100 and Dresses under $70. I drove to this store specifically because I'd heard they had quality things at good prices and my daughter was hoping to find a formal dress. While I did find most of their books reasonably priced, I won't take the time to go back.
