Wanted to purchase this jacket but I had found a rip inside of the jacket so I had asked this old black lady if there was any way we can knock a few dollars off the item. It was 12.99 which is outrageous for than item they most likely got for free. But the old lady asked "how much is it?" And I said 12.99 and then she continued to say "well I'm pretty sure they took that price into consideration." In a rude manner and didnt even try to talk to a manger for me. I adore shopping at this store. I've found some pretty cool treasures here over the years. But the pricing is a bit insane. Raggy stained shirts for $5.99, over-priced tiny ceramics. Broken things that are still $8. It's the only thrift store in the area though, so I continue to go. read more

First time going to this GW and last! Grabbed a cart was looking around saw that there was a little boutique went inside and this short older black lady proceeds to speak to me like I was a child! "NO CARTS ALLOWED DIDN'T YOU SEE THE SIGN IF YOU BREAK YOU BUY!! She caught me off guard! Did not know carts were not allowed A simple mam no carts allowed and I would have apologized and taken my cart out! The rudest experience I will never go there again CSR suck!!!! read more

I have had really good experiences with this location. The store is always clean and as organized as a Goodwill can be. The staff has always been friendly. The thing about Goodwill is that you can never go in with the expectation that you are going to find something you need. Go as a fun treasure hunt or as a process of looking for something you don't necessarily need today. I have used the donation center many times. They make it really easy with the drive through. There is always someone there to help unload your things. It is very quick and easy. read more

It is actually obscene how outrageous the prices are at this goodwill. I feel like they are taking advantage of their customers. This is more of a low income area and again the prices at this store are astronomical compared to other goodwills. This is supposed to be a discount resale store. Any customer would be better off going to the dollar tree next door or any other store and buying new items full price. This isn't what a goodwill should be. And again anyone coming here to look for a good deal won't find one. I feel sorry for anyone who actually purchases an item here, being that they're grossly overcharged. Id you want to pay $15 for a pair of worn shoes or 5.99 for a broken ceramic or 8.99 for a used sheet come here. read more

Today I visited the Goodwill at 18355 E 35th Place, Aurora CO 80011. I bought a few things that totally $23.07, tax $1.93 and donated the change for a total of $25.00. Before leaving the store I saw a picture that caught my eye. I asked the cashier Simone, I think is her name at the first register how much the picture was because it did not have a price. Simone said it was not for sale, that it was decoration. I mentioned to her that almost everything in the store was for sale. She insisted that it was not. I requested a manager be called. She asked why, I stated that I would like to know the price of the picture. She did not want to call the manager and stated that she did not want any trouble. This stems from her previous customer that had a pair of jeans that were $14.99. This customer supposedly did not speak English, so Simone requested a Spanish speaking manager (or worker). This woman came up and spoke to the customer in Spanish to let her know the jeans were $14.99, the lady clearly said no. The manager went on to tell Simone to give the jeans to the lady for $5.99, which she did. Now witnessing this, I would think that getting the manager to come up and price the picture would not be an issue. Simone took the picture to the back area and got a price of $14.99 on the picture. Mind you, another picture right by this one was $8.99 and the same size. The picture I was requesting a price on was colorful and quite cute. The other $8.99 picture - not so much. That should not have mattered anyway, the pictures were the same size. So, Simone brings the picture (that was only decoration according to her) back to me and states it is $14.99. I stated that the other picture was only $8.99 and that one should be also. She stated no it was $14.99. I requested again for the 3rd or 4th time to talk to a manager. Simone picks up the phone and asks me one more time, do I want to talk to a manager. I stated "Yes". I was calm and not upset, I wanted to get the picture but not for $14.99. Some lady supposedly the Manager was leaving for the day and Simone puts the phone down and tells her that I wanted to talk to a manager. I explained about the picture and wanted to know why it was all of a sudden (after being only decoration) was it $14.99? This lady goes on to say that the picture was in the boutique priced at $14.99 but was now on the main floor since it did not sale in there, but the price was still $14.99. Someone keeps taking the price off she stated. That was not my fault. My thought was since it did not sale at $14.99 in the boutique and was out on the main floor perhaps $8.99 (like the other picture) would be better. She did not think so. I put the picture back. The point in writing this mini series is that I would have gladly bought the picture at $8.99 if these two ladies were willing to sale it at that price. I figured since they lowered the price on the jeans for the previous customer that they could do the same for me. Nope! Nothing doing. I have frequented this store many times and consider myself an avid Goodwill shopper. First of all, there was no need for Simone to basically lie to me about the picture being decoration and secondly, in order to sale the picture they would have lower the price and made the sale. It's Goodwill!!! Perhaps I was the wrong color, or the fact that I didn't raise my voice or act crazy with them didn't help my cause to get the picture. I have never been that person, but I am that person that will write a mini series! Overall, I must not have needed the picture - I guess. But more importantly, the customer service and friendliness on their behalf was in the toilet. I will continue to go to this store, but will definitely stir clear of Simone as a cashier. She has been at this Goodwill for quite a while, this supposed manager was a new face that I have not seen before. Prices seemly very random, some shirts were 1.99 up to 7.99, the prices for light weight jackets were also very random from 14.99 to 29.99. The boutique had the same brands and items as the stuff the floor but marked up and was almost only women related. This Goodwill has been here since 2011-2012!! Nearby shops include Chick-Fil-A, AutoZone, Walmart and Dollar Tree. This Goodwill has one of my favorite drop off zones for donations, and it's always been easy. The community service workers are nice and always ready to unload my things. The inside of this location has a tiny department with exclusive name brands that are carefully set aside, because they have some more value than the other discounted merchandise. I come here often to donate, and maybe take a stroll around to look!! I don't consider myself drawn to this location, because I don't often find something I want!! This has been my go to Goodwill location now that I live out east of the airport. While I've only been by to drop off donations I am always impressed with the following: ++ The staff working at the donation drop off area are always so kind and helpful! ++ I always get a receipt and they have never forgotten to give me one! ++ No matter how hectic their day may be, they always make friendly conversation while unloading the car loads of goods I'm leaving. The only reason I can't give them higher than an "A-OK" rating is that I've never actually been inside! I'll def make sure to update my review once I venture in! Thanks, Goodwill! read more

Place sucks... came with a return from another store and said they couldn't do it. Been to several Goodwills never had an issue doing a return from a different store. Told there system won't let them do it even though they all work out of the same system. I'd drive past this store to go to a different one. read more

First time dropping off at any goodwill and will be my last at this location. The guy after drop off must truly hate his job. He was very rude and then proceeded to be picky about what donations he was going to take. He did not greet me upon entering the drive thru, he instead barked "you need to get out and tell me what to take". Sorry, your job is to take the used items. They all worked but apparently to dirty to his liking as he refused to take items. I understand the goal is to resell these thing but I am not going to "clean up" an item that came from storage so someone else can make money off it. You don't want it, fine it'll go to the trash. Keep in mind, it is the generous donations that pay salaries and make the store money. If employees are able to refuse items there should be a detailed listed of acceptable things. At any rate, it certainly could have been handled a little kinder. read more

changing rooms were closed when we visited, but the bathrooms were open and we were able to try on our clothes. plenty of books. though the store layout was confusing, the selection of items was amazing!! one of my favorite thrift stores visited. the staff were very nice and it wasn't too crowded read more

This is honestly my favorite goodwill out of everyone I've been to in Denver (even better than some in California). The deals here are AMAZING. I never go home with less than a car load. Phillip Jenkins and David (unsure of his last name) are beyond helpful when helping us load the crazy amounts of furniture we buy. Yazmin (manager?) Is always super helpful and always super friendly. I love shopping here. I believe out of all the Goodwills they defiently have the best stuff at the best prices. This is always our first stop when coming to Denver as we live 200 miles away. The store is pretty organized and clean considering how busy they always are. Restrooms are usually always stocked and clean. I can't really complain about anything here. Will be returning! My daughter in law & I shop at this Goodwill & we love it...most of the time. Today she saw a children's pink camera in the case up front & she ask a sales clerk to show it to her. She planned to buy it but they said she either had to buy it right then or they would hold it behind the counter so she could get it after we finished our shopping. We went to the same clerk to check out & said we wanted the camera to be rung up as well, & she said I sold it to someone else!!! What...we were so disappointed. We spend between 2 & 300 dollars there every month & they treat us like that. We spoke to the manager & they said yes we need a new system or something!!! The sales girl did not even apologize. This isnt the first time this has happened to her, either. We love this store, but are very disappointed right now. Thanks for listening....April 17th. read more
