Seriously $15....
Joee L.

The biggest plus to this goodwill is how clean it was. However, I was in complete sticker shock over the prices. I left with two items (boots and a cubs tshirt) and paid $20. They had Christmas apparel out and most of the sweaters were around $20. I get the ugly Xmas sweater is a dying trend but I can buy a new one at Target for $20 rather than spending $10 for one with deodorant stains on it. Cause seriously one had massive deodorant stains on it. If you are looking for a deal I wouldn't hit up this Goodwill. If you want to help out the community then shop here

This goodwill has enough of everything. Their women's section doesn't take up all of the space like i've seen happen at other goodwills. They do not have as many men's shoes as other goodwills. Their electronics section is neat and I ended up picking up a Pentax SLR camera for $7! I don't come here often, but when I do I am always delighted. As far as a goodwill goes, this ones got 5 stars from me.

It's too bad that Goodwill typically exists in the Chicago suburbs (except the one on W. Washington in Near West Side). As a city dweller, it's difficult to get to a location unless I happen to carpool on hubby's work vehicle. This one is located at the same shopping plaza with a newly remodeled Whole Foods on Kingery Hwy. I was impressed by how neatly the items were merchandised, especially the kitchenware/silverware department. Generally, apparel at a Goodwill is worth to take a look. They were many higher-end to luxury brands blouses, wraps, and outerwear for under $10. Items were in pristine conditions as well. Hubby found a pack of floppy discs for $0.50. The last I used one of them was for my term papers in high school back in the 2000's. It's always a pleasure to shop at a Goodwill, and restrooms are available for customers.

Welcomed addition to this strip mall!! This specific location has been an albatross for many years (Elek-Tek, vacant for years, then Murray's for a year or so). I'm glad the Willowbrook Planning/City Commission finally let them in here, maybe not quite the kind of place they really desired, but I think it will do well in the long run. Great selection, seemed to me that staff is real freindly and customer oriented. You can drop your stuff off on the front, west side of the store. They usually will help you unload your items. I love this place, got some good stuff. Goodwill will be opening a new location in Bolingbrook in the coming weeks so be on the lookout!

Today's haul for $12.

$20 spent at my cobbler for re-heeling, and then a little google research - I found them listed on Neiman Marcus Last Call for $395.

They're also reasonable with their prices, they'll meet you in the middle but remember they do have to make a profit so don't expect to come in here, grab 10 things and walk away with everything for $7... everything in the picture I got for $40! Basically you're just playing Pawn Stars haggling with the man at the front (probably without any experts involved.) Don't get me wrong this store got plenty of business and customers throughout our visit here. The store itself is chaos and unorganized. In the men's restroom it's absolutely awful because they have stuff thrown and shoved all over the bathroom and around the corners it seems like it's definitely a fire hazard just walking around. One of the weird things I found was a checkbook from many years ago. Nobody should be selling that that thing needs to be sent to the fire. They do have some decent finds but nothing out of the ordinary.

I didn't know that this was a store until I drove up in front of it. This kind of "bait and switch" tactic is something common for shady businesses to drive foot traffic. (The lesson here is *always* street-view an address even if you're running late.) When I contacted him over FB, he never said it was a business or that this item was actively for sale on the floor. Even when I was running late to pick and messaged him *from my car as I was driving there* with a new estimated time of arrival, he confirmed that it was OK and never said it was a business or that he was still lining up other customers. I got there just in time to watch another person arrive to pick the item (that I had driven nearly an hour out of my way to come pick up) because he also arranged a pick-up with her at the same time. This business claims to be a charity for a supported living facility for recovering addicts, which is laudable and the type of business I would love to support. As far as an internet search tells me, Trinity Sober Living is an LLC, not a non-profit. While I'm sure there are many for-profit recovery centers that help people, they are not charities. It's disappointing to see such deceptive and misleading business practices from this owner.
