My daughter picked out my mother's clothes, I picked out her clothes, I picked out her son's clothes, and my daughter picked out mine. It was a bit crazy because the dressing rooms in the Central Indiana Goodwill stores are still closed because of covid. We found a way around that, we found a full-length mirror that was for sale and we set it up on a couch that was for sale and just tried on all of the clothes over our clothes. We had a blast and some of the things we picked out for each other we wouldn't wear but it was crazy trying them all on and we laughed so hard. So we picked out all of our clothes and went in the restroom at Goodwill and put them on and we went to lunch! In our "new" clothes! Actually a couple items were new with tags so that was a bonus. We also picked out shoes. This was an absolutely fun day out and with four generations of family together we could not have had a better time. My mother is 80 so every chance we get we go do something and now we can check this one off the list. It was a pretty nice Goodwill and we found a lot of nice clothes and my daughter even took home a Halston jacket to wear to work. The cashier was friendly and the staff didn't bother us at all as we tried everything on in the aisles and by the couch!

Prices were reasonable and there as even a clearance room of marked down items. The store is well organized and super neat. The changing rooms rival those of an upscale department store. The parking lot is shared with the other stores in the strip mall. There is plenty of parking with accessible spaces available. Worth a visit if you are looking for a bargain or want to consign some clothes.

This is especially true for those with disabilities. However, far too often I've found Goodwill to be lacking in accessibility and questionable in customer service. While the clothing is certainly less than retail, I also often find it to be overpriced, incorrectly sized, and often in disrepair. In short, I often find Goodwill stores to be a good idea poorly implemented. There are exceptions and my visit today to the Danville Goodwill was a definite exception. This is one of the newer Goodwill stores, though I'll admit to being surprised I'm writing the first review. This is located in a free-standing building just inside the Danville limits. It's in the area with the Wal-Mart, Culver's, and Tractor Supply. It's a newer building that's well maintained. Parking is plentiful, accessible parking is nicely done, automatic doors are included, and I found most of the shelving is nicely accessible. I did not check the job kiosk (often a failure in Goodwill stores as they are notoriously inaccessible). There were lots of things nicely done here - aisles were a little bit wider, the store was brightly lit, and the aisle for check-out was clear and obvious with two super friendly cashiers working today. I mean, I was seriously impressed with both employees. The young woman who checked me out, I believe her name was Kaili, was friendly and helpful and even offered help getting the bag to my car (I'm a wheelchair user, I should explain). She served up the usual question about my being a rewards member. She also requested I round up (which I typically do and did today). I found products organized well and prices clearly marked. Having gotten home with several clothing items and one book, I've found nothing incorrectly sized or in disrepair. While I'm not quite willing to call this a 5-star experience, I'll easily give it a 4-star rating and say that this is undeniably one of the more pleasant Goodwill shopping experiences in Central Indiana. While the design is fairly typical for Goodwill, the atmosphere is pleasant, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the entire shopping experience is pleasant, well organized, effective, and efficient. As I'm spending more time in Hendricks County these days, there's no doubt I'll return as I was pleased with selection and the overall experience.

The thrift store is opened to the public and sells mostly clothes (women's, men's and children's ) and shoes, with also a bit of vintage jewelry and women's accessories. I like rummaging through thrift stores and looking for unique vintage items. The volunteer staff is super friendly and helpful. Changing rooms are available to try on clothing. The small shop is well organized. Prices are very reasonable and proceeds benefit the food pantry. Jewelry was marked half price during my visit. I found a stunning artisan necklace, which I regret not buying. The shop is located behind the church and there is plenty of parking. The shop maintains the same hours as the adjacent food pantry, so the hours vary.

I was fortunate to be able to catch the soft opening of Second Treasures, a thrift store opening up…read moreon a part-time schedule as part of Second Presbyterian Church's missions program. Second Treasures will be open about 10 hours a week with a particularly focus on supporting the needs of its Washington Township neighbors. It's patterned after the church's popular Bazaar and Clothing Sale and will support the work of the church's Women's Ministry. A good majority of the items are donated by church members and will be staffed by volunteers from the church. It's located at the North end of Second's Mission Suite (outside the Northside Food Pantry). The thrift store is opening to the public on Tuesday, April 23rd, and will be open on Tuesdays (12-3pm), Wednesdays (3:30-6:30pm), and Saturdays (9:30am-12:30pm). I was pleased with the items available and the prices at which they were marked. Clothing, of course, is quite popular here and there are items for men, women, children, etc. While you won't mistake this non-profit, church-based thrift store for one of the behemoths in terms of selection, this is a really cool idea for a great cause. Today's soft opening/open house was a great chance to get a feel for everything to be offered and how it all will work. Cash and credit cards are accepted. In terms of accessibility, there's plenty of accessible parking and doorways are pretty decent. This is on the first floor and accessibility should not be an issue. 5-stars might be a tad generous given the simplicity of the project, however, I'm always a fan of true non-profit, mission-based efforts and I'm anxious to see this one grow and truly support the Washington Township area.

This is a thrift store with curated items and has some of the best vintage goods you'll find at some of the best prices. I went to the Zionsville location looking for dinner plates and side tables. I was very close to pulling the trigger on some vintage ceramic plates, but decided to keep looking at the last minute. The friendly woman behind the counter said that the merchandise changes very frequently, so I should check back soon. This store has lots of home goods, including frames, flatware, furniture, decorations, mirrors, rugs and light fixtures. There is also a small supply of raw items like kitchen sinks, doors, cabinets and other materials. The prices are very good, but just a tick higher than some of the other Habitat ReStores that I've visited in the Indy area. Still, I'll be back soon to see what new goodies have come in!

They shortened hours on Labor Day. From the outside, the place seems small with bigger items typically outside to grab drivers' attention. They have a variety of (new and used) merchandise including furniture. It is like a Goodwill store but more organized. I was told that the items were donated, and they do not have sales. I bought a lap desktop with folding legs and section holders; it would be so helpful especially when I tend to find writing utensils that have fallen between the couch cushions. Also, a green long-sleeve dress shirt caught my eyes so I had to go look at it, which happened to fit me; how could I resist buying this name-brand, attractive shirt! I used that coupon for the shirt, so I got more savings than for the desktop. There seem to be a couple of spots I would like to try to wash out of the shirt. So both $5 or less. Sold! When I got home, I realized that maybe the shirt was new because there was a spare button attached. I will see if the ink on the sleeve comes out. I think the store changed its name to Noble Cause (but still led by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul) and did change their hours to M, T, Th, and F 9-3 with Wed. and Sat. only to serve from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's food pantry. I would return when and if convenient but definitely if I get a coupon.

They have row after row of almost anything you may want for home décor, some furniture, and outdoor furniture. The store is fairly easy to navigate if you are looking for something specific, or just wonder up and down the aisles window shopping. The store was all decked out for Christmas but wasn't too busy! I am simply amazed at all of the items this store stocks.

There is an entire wall dedicated to canvas and framed wall art, which is one of my personal favorite areas there. You can find something fun to coordinate with almost any style and color scheme. The prices are always very reasonable, and if you sign up for their perks program you can also score extra coupons and special pricing events. Check At Home out, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

The shop is located in the heart of Zionsville on the west side of Main Street. They carry a nice selection of costume jewelry priced reasonable. There were lots of cute mittens and gloves out for the winter season. They carry some lovely woven soft scarves and sweaters. All would make nice gifts if you are looking for something special. There is a room to try-on clothes in the back. They were crowded on our visit so no one helped us and we were left to explore, which is what we wanted. My daughter really liked the jewelry. The shop is decorated with trendy vintage furniture and decor. I was not sure if those items were for sale or just for display. Towards the end of our visit, a clerk asked if we needed help. She was friendly and told us about the shop. They do a nice job of packaging your purchases in colorful tissue paper. There is street parking if you are early or lucky. Parking is a bear downtown Zionsville these days. Worth a visit. I may go back today and get that necklace for my daughter as a surprise.

Hi my name is Jon,…read more I am posting this to help you as a business owner. My goal is to help make Zionsville the most accessible town in America. With everyone's help we can make it happen. I will present an issue that you can fix or leave. I have given you 5 stars for being smart enough to do business in Zionsville. If you fix this issue these stars remain as is. The other day I was using the back street of Main Street businesses. The one where deliveries are made and lots of double parking takes place. Exactly, that street. I was stroling along in my wheelchair when I barely could pass by a green recycling toter. The next day two side by side partially block the sidewalk. Please understand I know you had no idea about this issue. Hence why I am not angry or anything. Just trying to help. The solution to this is free in this case. Just around the corner from these bins is a much wider section of sidewalk. Since the design leaves a vast section of pretty much unused sidewalk that can't be expected to be usable for pedestrians. You can move these bins just around the corner. Maybe adding 5 or 10 extra steps. Zero cost to you. This next part is informational only. The ADA can fine from $75,000 up to $300,000 even on a first time violation. To make things worse if someone was not being nice they could sue you. Typically these end our of court for about $40,000 to $100,000. As if that wasn't enough the town could fine you for misuse of a public sidewalk and fine you per day these bins have been on public property. I used to own my own small businesses before being disabled. I am only sharing information here. Since the bins are for business use, they must remain on business property at all times. But, where does a business place them? Inside for many. Only to be outside on pickup day. Then brought back inside. Why? Because you pay separate business taxes from the public sidewalk taxes. In this case the very nature or shape the buildings naturally make provide a place for these bins. And, while still on public sidewalk it can't reasonably be expected to be used. So, we have a wonderful opportunity to resolve this. I will provide images showing the spot interferes with easy passage. And, one showing the spot you can relocate them to at no cost. If you see me in the village or around don't hesitate to say hi. How you know it is me: I usually where a sun hat shiny on top, and most of the time I have a large bluetooth speaker on my lap. I am very approachable, easy going, and chatty. I am working on that, but nicely being direct helps. ADHD can be both creative and annoying to myself as well as anyone else. So far 100% of all businesses I have shared things like this with have been amazing. Cobblestone, Noah Grant's and yours as well. Not only that the others are also wheelchair accessible.
