My sandwich was very good as was my side of guacamole. i had the Corvallis- turkey with guacamole, cheese and thousand island dressing. After standing in line here (and about everywhere in this neighborhood), I will phone my order in next time. Don't bother trying to eat inside unless you are in one of the tables away from window. I had a less-than-stellar experience here the first time I came, but man, I just have come on a severe off day, because this was way, way better. Basing this review solely on the lunch I'm currently eating, but the Cuban Reuben sandwich on their menu is straight up on point, and I'm already looking forward to the next one I'm going to eat even though I haven't finished my current one. That's how good it is. Pork is perfectly cooked and seasoned, the bread is light on the outside and toasted just right on the bottoms, just a melange of flavors mingling in perfect harmony. It's not cheap -- $12 for a sandwich and a side -- but you do get a ton of food for your money, certainly more than enough to sate a hungry office drone like myself. Talk about great customer service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I always have a very pleasant experience at Goodwins, however, when I got back to my office with my lunch the other day, the shrimp tasted a little off. I emailed them to let them know and the response was nothing like I expected. The executive chef, Mark, responded very quickly to my email and was very nice about the situation. He not only took the time to respond and look into the matter, but he went way out of his way to personally, of his own accord, walk all the way to my office to reimburse me and make the situation right. He went above and beyond what I would have expected and was extremely nice. Along with their great customer service is a great menu. There is a wide selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads. Everything I've had there has been delicious, my favorite being the Tampico. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be back soon! read more

Not a fan after they moved to their new location. The food is not as good as it used to be (consistency issues and the quality doesn't seem as high as previously). Navigating the space when it gets busy is a nightmare and the three times I've done order ahead and pickup were disastrous with waits of 10-15 minutes beyond when they said it would be ready. Great food option! The sandwich I had was great and they have a lot of vegetarian options. Sandwiches and wraps come with fruit, pasta salad or chips and guac and salsa. The guacamole was so good. The pesto mayo on my sandwich was delicious. And the service is really great. Everyone is nice and friendly and they work hard to get your food out to you ASAP. Goodwins isn't a bad place to grab a bite to eat. They have some unique sandwiches and wraps. However, the high price is not justified. Sides are very small and sandwiches are often assembled poorly. Very slow service as well, so if you see a long line, go somewhere else. read more

The Channel Islands breakfast sandwich is a whole wheat toasted, bacon, cheddar, scrambled eggs & grilled tomato goodness made fresh to order with a side of fresh salsa. While I didn't want to add any moisture to an already moisturized sandwich, I didn't taste the salsa. The sandwich itself had enough freshness and flavor all by itself. Everything about this yummy sandwich put the breakfast sandwich competition to shame. At $4.79, the generously filled and freshly made sandwich is worth the price. Love the wheat bread, even though it was a bit on the soggy side from the egg and tomato! The only suggestion I have is to curb the soggy bread, as it's a major highlight of the sandwich. This place has been through a number of changes in the past half-year. As others have mentioned, they increased the prices by quite a bit. A salad will now set you back ~$12-$13, which is ridiculous for lunch. They generally seem disorganized now, making the whole process lengthy and confusing, and today they gave me the wrong side, and the bread was stale. Food is Fair. Online Ordering is Disappointing I ordered lunch to be brought in for an in-office meeting recently. I ordered sandwiches, salads and desserts online. Order came 40 minutes early and the sides for the sandwiches had sloshed all over the sandwiches making eating them a mess. Been to Goodwins twice for breakfast and twice for lunch. Breakfast wraps are SO SOGGY, the wrap is inedible - also very little filling inside the wrap. Soup is a joke - flavorless. BBQ sandwich was the best thing I've had there, but the BBQ sauce they use has an overwhelming tomato taste. This place is way too expensive for the portion sizes. read more

Disappointed that they moved. This used to be a really reasonably priced place with great sandwiches, but now they just have great sandwiches at kind of high prices. Overpriced and bland food is the best way to describe this place. I ordered food twice and both times was disappointed. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich which was just a few veggies slapped on some bread with salad dressing. ...for $8! Then I ordered a mushroom spinach soup the other day. First I ordered a large based on the size of containers they have on the counter, the container I received was probably a small. The soup it self was bland and had a few mushrooms and mostly roasted vegetables, there was no hint of spinach anywhere....so I am not sure what I actually received! With so many other lunch time options available in the area I think I will be going elsewhere from now on! read more

The menu is large, but the sandwiches are for the most part similar to each other. Maybe this wont get filtered out... We have always liked Goodwins but the experience at the new location has been very poor. Pricing is anyone's guess and it has increased substantially, what use to cost $9-10 is now over $13. I've been there 3 times since they opened the new location, ordered exact same thing yet my bill has been different every time, with the latest being over $13. Friend's lunches have also been priced differently even when we order the exact same thing... -overall cost of wraps/sandwiches have increased. -12oz can of soda was $1.89 - this now shows $1.55 on the latest menu but I guess the registers haven't been updated yet... -Chips/Guac are now extra $1 when they were previously included with wraps. -no longer have recycle garbage for soda cans/plastic bottles -eliminated many great wraps like the Tempe, Understand prices go up, but seems to be a bit extreme to go up 30%. Will definitely be limiting number of times we go there for lunch now. very disappointing... read more

I've been here twice so far. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. So far I'm not that impressed. For lunch I had the key west wrap (which was pretty good) with the guacamole and chips (not great). The guacamole was not even really guacamole in my opinion. The avocado was barely mashed and it didn't really have much flavor to it. For breakfast I had the la conchita, Which was a wrap with scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, and pico de gallo. It was pretty basic to me and not very special. I like soup for lunch so have only ordered their soups, but all of my experiences (4-5) have been terrible. Their soups are nothing more than a big cup of broth. Absolute waste of $5. I work in the building and after trying it a few times will NEVER go here again. I foolishly just paid $14.65 for a chicken wrap and a "large" chicken noodle soup. The chicken doesn't even taste like grilled chicken, was diced and cold. Plus the wrap was very small. The soup, was small for a large, was bland and barely had any noodles.
