Lobster bisque, crispy steak chips, and Maine lobster roll, with lemon aioli. Everything was delicious!

Food was great, the fries were fresh and the lobster bisque was rich and delicious. Lobster roll with the aioli is a perfect pair.

Brilliant! You might be thinking "a lobster and fish food truck? Seems fishy" But this place is a gem. We had to wait in line for a bit because apparently it's quite popular but it was well worth it. The fish was spectacular. I will say that the fries are nothing special but they aren't bad. Just standard french fries. If you're hanging out in town this is a must

The lobster roll was even better than expected for the price. It was fully packed to get your money and your buttered roll's worth. I also had the shrimp po boy which had perfect bread, perfectly cooked shrimp, and some kind of sauce or seasonings for a unique and flavorful taste. My dad loved the clam chowder. They were friendly and helpful as well. A great place for a ton of different seafood options in the area, some parking and picnic tables are available outside.

This little shack offers monster sized lobster rolls along with many other sandwich offerings and entrees. We got the Maine lobster roll and the Connecticut lobster roll as well as the lobster bisque and were very pleased with how tasty and fresh the food was. Service was slow but it was worth the wait!

Coordinated with Goody's Market to cater a luncheon for 20. They provided salad, 2 types of quiche, lobster mac 'n cheese, and strawberry shortcake...it was delicious!! Guests were blown away. Would definitely hire them again. They were on schedule and all the food temps were perfect.

The lobster roll(Connecticut style) was huge and absolutely delicious! The bun was also toasted to perfection. We also enjoyed the shrimp po'boy which was prepared with fresh ingredients and super tasty! The lemon aioli is something special.

Best lobster roll I've ever had! Although serving out of a truck, they will be moving to the building next door. I hope the quality stays the same. Loved their pickle slaw too.

Hoooollllly smokes. I don't think I had a better lobster roll when I was traveling in Boston or Maine. Massively huge chunks of lobster, fresh brioche bun, crisp romaine that pops with every bite. You leave feeling full and refreshed, not lethargic. Not pictured was the Arnold Palmers that were so refreshing or my kid's Mac and cheese that he wolfed down. Service was incredible - very, very, very friendly and they move you through the line quickly. We sat in the shade of their umbrellas stating how lobster rolls will be had for all future 4th of July lunches. Definitely recommend!

This place has a very large menu for being a food truck! The lobster rolls were a little pricey, $32 and the lobster is served cold. Overall, great place to stop for food in downtown Frankfort

Scallops and the tuna. The succotash is so good!!
    Matt N.

I got the scallops and they were amazing. Very large portion as well which I love. The tuna was really good too. I would say it is expensive but the portion size is generous so I would say the pricing is right on. Unfortunately I ate 5/6 of my meal before I took a picture ha ha. I definitely recommend it!

My only complaint was that we arrived between menus and they was some confusion. Other than that it was a great lunch spot!

Leelanau county is home to a plethora of wonderful restaurants with beautiful settings, expert…read moreservice, and outstanding locally sourced food. The Manor is not one of those restaurants. I had dinner at there last night and the experience my family and I had was nothing short of a train wreck. For a restaurant trying to showcase its strengths (it was restaurant weekend) this was a mind boggling experience from beginning to end. First - the service. We were seated. And we waited. After about 20 minutes, and the whole of our table chomping on the ice in our water glasses, our drink order began. The server had no idea if a 'beer list' existed, but assured one of the guests that there were 'a lot of new beers' after a common Michigan IPA was ordered. The rest of the drink order was placed, and we waited. And waited. After about 15 more minutes the 'special' beer that was requested came out. Alone. 5 minutes later, drink #2. After 5 more minutes, drink #3. It is possible that a) the restaurant did not allow trays or b) the server had an injury that prevented them from carrying two things at once - but you get the picture. Service for the rest of the dinner was as expected after waiting an hour to get a table of drinks. Next - the food. I don't next to expand my thoughts on this. I would have rather ate cold pizza from a frat house floor with a side of day old ranch for dipping sauce. Nothing at our table was edible. The pork was dry with rehydrated chutney on top, the duck was effectively shredded cardboard compact into the shape of a duck. And the Parmesan whitefish? Was it even whitefish? I can't think about it anymore. Lobster bisque? You mean lobster bisquick! It was the consistency of pancake batter, lacking that familiar pink hue that has accompanied the dozens of other lobster bisques I've enjoyed. Maybe they mixed it up with seafood chowder? I don't know. The wedge salad. Pretty simple, pretty safe. A solid 'go-to' right? Not at El Manor. The bleu cheese dressing may have been ranch... It was hard to tell - but you know what wasn't hard to tell? That the army of bacon bits at the top were undoubtedly Bac O's ... That all too familiar, spice canister dispensed collection of dehydrated bacon (or maybe fake bacon). I didn't know they even made Bac O's anymore! My dish came with broccoli. 'Is it steamed?' I asked? 'Boiled.' the server said. Boiled? I'm no Julia child's but I've never heard of that particular method of preparation used for broccoli. I got that particular dish (the duck with broccoli) and when it arrived I immediately reached for the salt and pepper, but there were none to be found. No salt and pepper on the table! I was stuck with my corrugated duck and tasteless florets. Sad face. I noticed a previous poster described their desert as 'vanilla pudding with caramelized sugar' - that's a pretty clever and accurate description. Definitively NOT creme brûlée. Even the rolls appeared to have crawled right out of the freezer. Eventually the evening came to an end. Thank god, because this experience was excruciating from beginning to end. It's a good thing my kids had a leftover peanut butter and jelly sandwich waiting in the car.

Honestly, the best home cooked style Mexican food in Traverse City, and it's not even close. Kind of a down and dirty spot, but pleasant enough visually. Sometimes the place is filled with smoke and fryer grease fumes. I won't go in when it's like that. And hopefully they get it worked out. No alcohol served (that I'm aware of) Sadly, staff attitudes, dismissiveness, disrespectful attitudes toward customers, often closed during open hours, with no sign. If you come in within 15 minutes of closing, they will announce to you that "We are closing." We've seen it happen to a number of guests, who are wondering what they did wrong, to get scolded. The staff apparently feels, if the restaurant closes at 7 PM, they should be walking out the door at 7:01 PM. That would be nice, but that's not how it works. What this tells us is, there is a skilled Mexican chef, real home cooking, behind this place. But there is no management skill or discipline. That also makes me worry about cleanliness and sanitation, because if you have no principles and no guidance or leadership, you can't expect a staff of, essentially children, to perform as adult professionals. Probably the hardest review I've ever had to write, and I hope they fix the BS with the staff. Food is absolutely delicious.
