Yummy! Goody's is a food truck located outside furnace st distillery (which has GREAT cocktails and a lively and relaxed scene). The lobster roll was warm, buttery and plentiful. Lettuce was crisp and fresh. Their crab cakes were exactly what you want when you're craving one. Our whole family loved this experience. We enjoyed the lobster roll, fish and chips, corn dog, tuna, and soup. The lemonade is freshly made and tart, very refreshing. The food was fresh and well prepared. All of us wanted to come back and visit again. Prices are in-line with the value and quality of the food they are serving. It's not a cheap meal but you are getting fresh seafood and a generous quantity. It was all delicious, too. It did take a little time to get our food, probably about 20 mins. If you are in a hurry you might want to ask when ordering how long it will be before your food is ready. Located right off of Frankfort's Main Street it is easy to find. There are picnic tables with umbrellas right there but you could also go down to the water easily. There are a few parking spaces right next to the ordering window which are accessible from the alley. The afternoon weather was gorgeous and the crowd was mellow which suited us perfectly. OMG this is the best lobster roll I've had since leaving New England. It checked all the boxes! Proper top cut grilled roll, generous amount of lobster lightly sauced, no extraneous celery etc. , a bit of crunchy lettuce and...did I say, generous portion of lobster! Was it pricey? Brilliant! You might be thinking "a lobster and fish food truck? Seems fishy" But this place is a gem. We had to wait in line for a bit because apparently it's quite popular but it was well worth it. OMGOODNESS! I just can't say enough about the deliciousness of Goody's hot-buttered lobster roll! It took me back to my first visit to the Maine coast, where the lobster is fresh and plentiful! There was a TON of lobster meat and melted butter on the roll. This taste treat is served on a roll from Quincy, Massachusetts, as God intended ALL lobster rolls should be served upon. My husband enjoyed the Fried Chicken Spuckie and said it was one of the best sandwiches he'd ever had (and he is fussy!). Kate recommended the French fries (fried in beef tallow for full flavor), and they were incredible. Don't miss the wonderful selections to choose from in their market/deli. Hoooollllly smokes. I don't think I had a better lobster roll when I was traveling in Boston or Maine. Massively huge chunks of lobster, fresh brioche bun, crisp romaine that pops with every bite. You leave feeling full and refreshed, not lethargic. Not pictured was the Arnold Palmers that were so refreshing or my kid's Mac and cheese that he wolfed down. The lobster rolls are stuffed to the brim and the bun toasted to perfection. Bisque is great and cannot leave the window without ordering the street corn! Last night I enjoyed the shrimp salad. I am not a salad girl but damn it was good! Food was good but the prices were pretty high. Will cost around 30 to 35 a person. I got the shrimp po boy which was good even though it was a little soggy with all the garlic butter. The clam chowder was thin for my tastes but tasted good. All seating is outside on picnic tables and there isn't a lot of shade in august. Have visited Maine and had fresh lobster for over 10 years. This gem of a lobster shack was found with a chef with over 27 years experience in Maine. The lobstah roll was excellent and I felt like I was back in Maine on the coast. Lobster bisque was also exceptional Crab cakes were good and not the typical mush you get in restaurants, but you could actually see the crab meat. We had to try this after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint. I had the crab cakes and my partner tried the clam strip sandwich. Both were delicious. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail, which were jumbo shrimp. We loved it so much that we hung around town for over an hour after our motel check-out time the following day, so we could eat here again before heading back home. We decided to eat here after reading the reviews online and we love a good lobster roll. Unfortunately, that was not our experience today. We were quite surprised when our Connecticut style lobster roll was served ice cold with re-hardened butter. Assuming there was a mix up I approached the window to let them know and I was told lobster rolls are always served cold...even the Connecticut style with warmed butter. This really bothered me so I spent sometime reading online confirming that Connecticut style lobster rolls are always served hot and one recipe went as far as explaining why you can't put melted butter on cold lobster. I hope this review helps others know what to expect when ordering here and also provides suggestions to edit the menu description to include "always served ice cold." read more

The lobster bisque is awful. It's all a greasy broth with tiny pieces of I guess, lobster. Couldn't get enough to taste. Followed by the tiny crab cakes for $17. What can you expect from a shack. Don't go is my recommendation. read more
