I got my car inspected here. It was the end of the month so naturally I expected to wait a long time but I was first in line! Actually - I went to a different location Goodyear and they were booked for the day- so they called this location and told them to expect me in about 15 mins- great costumer service if you ask me! The waiting room is nice & clean, water and coffee available , tv going on. I'm not very knowledgeable with cars and they asked if they could replace a few things which some may argue that they just want to get a little extra money which could be true but they explained why a certain item should be replaced and since my car is 13 years old I was fine with getting a new air filter for a minimal fee. read more

I have been dreading writing this review. I took my car in for 2 new tires and an oil change. The person who owned the car before me apparently changed all 4 tires at different times, so they said I needed to replace all 4 instead of the 2 I came in for, because the tread needed to be the same on a 4WD. Okay fine, whatever. That was a bill I didn't expect. I told them I was going on a roadtrip to NC the following weekend. I start my 13 hour drive to the NC coast for a 3 day family vacation. Once I get into the bible belt part of NC, which there is NOTHING there...I hear this horrendously loud sound coming from my car. It sounded like I was dragging a garbage can behind me. I pull over in the 105 degree heat and lay on the pavement to look under the car. The plastic guard that covers/protects the underbody of the vehicle was dragging like a snowplow blade. The oil change I had gotten a day or so prior....they did not put the guard back on properly. My vehicle is a 2015, therefore, not falling apart by any means. This was a mechanic error. I had no tools with me, and the pavement was so hot there my tshirt decal melted to the street while I was looking under my car. I had to keep driving, at least until I saw a gas station or something. 15 minutes later into the drive, my AC started STINKING SO BAD and goes warm. I pull over again and get under the car. A rock had flown up from the snowplow blade of plastic, and disconnected a hose, and all of the fluid leaked out. I still had two hours to go in this over 100 degree heat, and now had no AC either. I called, the manager told me they would resolve it when I got back home. I told them I was not driving 13 hours back in the dead of summer with no AC. They told me they could not do anything from NY while I was in NC. I went to the only mechanic on the island we were on, and he fixed the AC tube and refilled it for $40. Great. I had to rip off the plastic piece off at a beach house with my dad and a crowbar. I finally get back home to Buffalo, and go into Goodyear within a day of my return. They admitted that there were bolts missing and the guard was not put back on properly. They wrote down the vin# and part# and told me they would call me when it came in, and install it free of charge. Ok, cool. I get a call a week or so later, and go in there. They ordered the wrong part. they said they were going to try again and order a difference piece, and they would call me again to come back and get it installed. Another two weeks later, I get a call. I go in...and take a guess....IT IS THE WRONG PART AGAIN. At this point, I was pissed. I have been in this place where the wifi doesn't even work, on 4 seperate occassions with no resolution. I contacted corporate. The lady who helped me was fantastic. She also found out that the guy in the first place never offered me a $50 tire rebate on the 4 tires I was strong armed into buying. She also refunded me for my oil change, and reimbursed me the $40 for the repair in NC. So, I get another call from Goodyear a week or so after that. THEY. ORDERED. THE. WRONG. PART. AGAIN. I started laughing and said "you guys really need to get your act together, this is pathetic". That poor manager probably thought I was going to kill someone. He replied on the phone with me "Well, now we have these 3 plastic guards that don't fit your car and we can't return them, so we are losing money too". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Stop buying aftermarket crap to save a dime! I finally told them for the 4th time...go to the dealership. I was NOT going to do this again. Needless to say, 4th time is a charm. The part was correct from the dealership (duhhhhh) and I haven't been back since. I hope this place goes out of business for their lack of compassion and knowledge. What a pain in the ass this was. I had to leave work early for "repair" appointments (where I just found out they ordered the wrong shit AGAIN AND AGAIN), missing pay and losing vacation time to deal with this. I literally do not hate a place in WNY more than I hate the Goodyear on Transit across from Home Depot. read more

First time at this location. They were helpful with fixing my tire. They were also mindful that my time was valuable and when they knew that they needed a tire that they didn't have in stock at the moment they got me on my way in the meantime with suggesting that I keep my rim here and just use the spare in the meantime. Then, they called me back within 3 hrs saying they're now able to repair my flat fully. Came back and was in and out within 20mins. Overall a pleasant experience. read more

This place is a rip-off they charge over $100 an hour for labor more than a Dr charges. I was quoted $388 for pads and rotors but then aftrer they had my vehicle they said I needed calipers and break lines. If I were to pick up ther vehicle and not have ther work done I would have to pay over $100 just for them to look at my breaks and do no work. So over a $1000 dollars later when I pick up my wife's Jeep the paper work said they heard a rod noise coming from the engine. Sure enough the next day I went on a road trip and the engine was making clanking noises that were not present before I had the breaks done and the Jeep stalled twice during my road trip once on the I-90. Rachael who had promised me a refund on the labor costs (for not advising me of the engine noise prior to performing break service) when I returned from my vacation, decided instead she wanted to have me bring the Jeep back for a "free oil change & diagnoses of the problem" (so they could charge us another $1000 I'm sure) Run don't walk from this place and go to a less shady garage to get your work done! read more

Called Friday the 9th of December to order tires. Person told me to go online, buy the tires and schedule an appointment. I did exactly as instructed, received a confirmation email stating the date and time I chose was acceptable on December 12th. I receive a phone call from Depew Goodyear on the 13th saying the day and time is no good and that I need to re-book the appointment. I was told that I should call and make appointments since online doesn't really work properly for a 4 tire installation, explained I did exactly that. Called corporate, who told me that the location confirms that the day and time is good, so they should not have confirmed it. Called the Depew location back (guess what???) and they told me that they don't confirm that, it's done automatically through corporate. poor poor communication... I will wait and see how the installation goes, maybe they can earn a star or two back on Friday. read more
