I haven't really addressed it besides filling it with air at Mavis because (to be honest) it was a headache i've been putting off. I stopped at the Mavis on Transit on my way home back to Rochester for air, and their pump wasn't in service. Their mechanic Burra came outside and told me to pull around to the side and he'd put air in it. Without me even asking, he tightened my valve stem which was loose and offered to patch my tire. Granted, I didn't come here expecting to pay anything, but I knew it needed to be fixed and he got me right into the garage on the spot. Truly some awesome folks that work here, especially Burra, who show they care about the people who stop in. If i'm in Buffalo and need a new tire, I know where i'll stop now!

They have even fixed minor problems, and refused any sort of payment multiple times. My car battery tested unusually low during my inspection, I was asked to come back to double check as it was extremely cold that day. I stopped by a couple weeks later. They are too booked to do, it. Isabella tells me to bring it back Thursday morning. Bring the car back Thursday morning. Patrick clearly annoyed with the fact I was in the shop. Not sure if I wasn't put on the schedule appropriately, or just having a personal bad day. Car battery gets checked. Patrick has battery tested "it's at 56% you're good to go." I inquire if that is normal for a battery I believed to only be a year old? "Yeah new batteries can test as low as 80% in this weather, so 56-80% is acceptable." This was said in front of a full waiting room. I inquire with friends more mechanically inclined than me. I am informed yes l, weather will affect the test but, that's testing at a 2 year old charge. Patrick couldn't be bothered to look up as to when the battery was replaced for me to confirm the date. Didn't discuss how the warranty would be determined. A 24% margin of error seems pretty high for a determining factor on a warranty. Didn't tell me what determines an under performing battery, and what would qualify for replacement. Nor tell me when the warranty expires, to potentially bring it back in warmer weather to test again, before the warranty is null. Very disappointed, this is not reflective of brand and service I have become accustomed to, glad they have a second location. I will be avoiding the Transit location.

I first went to them when one of the car dealerships said that the computer on my car needed to be replaced.. NOw any other place you would go would say oh yea you need that.. 2 hours after I dropped my car off I received a call from Scruggs telling my car was ready.. Said that I only needed an inspection and a new battery... nothing wrong w/ the car.. then i took my newer car to Scruggs on transit for an oil change.. i get a call back that i needed a lot of work done.. head gasket etc.. something you would think that the dealership would've taken care of...once i received the cost i was ready to cry.. they offered me a 3rd party lender.. YAYYYY!! that was awesome.. the people there are the greatest..Henry, Patrick, Carmine (he did the work on my car), Isabella.. I was treated like one of the family.. i will be going there anytime i need to have something done on the car.. you should go too.... THEY ARE THE BEST!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE REST!!

Yes, they are more expensive than other places. But you can drive up without an appointment, get…read moreyour oil changed without having to get out of your car, and drive off in just a few minutes. That's why you're paying extra. Also, they only do a few things. An oil change, an air filter, wiper blades....They don't overhaul engines, they don't do AC repair, they don't sell tires. So when you go there to get an inspection, if something is going to fail, you know it's because it failed and not because they are trying to get more money out of you. (Not that all places do that, but you have piece of mind that it's not being done here.)

Since then every-time i go I'm stuck waiting for an inspection or told the inspector went home so no inspections the rest of the day. Isn't the whole point of valvoline to be able to pull in get your vehicle serviced and be out in a timely manner? Maybe i was just lucky the first few times i went and was able to catch the right time to get an inspection and oil change. I could have just made and appointment somewhere else if i wanted to wait an hour for stuff to get done.

I informed service that it has been inspected in NY eight (8) times and never once was the window tint and issue. I reviewed my paperwork to find that it was inspected by this dealership less than two (2) years prior, without any issues. The service rep told me it never should have passed back then. Was also quoted $83 to clean the battery terminals and that my DEF was getting low. The recall was not really a recall per the service rep either. I would never trust this dealership to be honest with me, and I will never return there.

I was informed that There was a glitch and THEY had written the services up incorrectly so instead of saying oops our fault we screwed up when We informed you of the availible services left on your purchase I was charged for the oil change even though they had written the services up incorrectly and informed there customer of the incorrect information. I feel this was an error on the business and the consumer had to eat this one when they were informed of wrong information. I was also informed that back brakes for a 21 Jeep Compass was going to be like $900... Please that's a price gouge if I ever saw one. Do yourself a favor and just run... Seems like they are all over the place and don't communicate within the company so why would they communicate well with their customers.....

I start calling to get an appointment.first the dealership I bought my car. Three weeks. Second , i won't mention but the guy in on the phone, and I quote, " you're a funny guy"!! Really? The voice on the phone was extremely pleasant and said the best she could do was Monday at 12:30 I said ok. She said if you can come in early sometimes we can get you right away. Monday came. I did as she said. Was welcomed by a very pleasant man. Told where to pull my car. I got out and soon , like 5 mins my car was getting inspected. The mechanics were pleasant and didn't try to upsale anything and just did the inspect . It passed and I was out before my 12:30 time. I paid and I would be recommending their business. So if you want to be treated like a moron, go anyplace but Wielands. Because here you're gonna be treated with respect and know that you vehicle is going to be treated with utmost care. I brought my 2013 Ford Edge to Kolb Family Automotive for multiple electrical issues including…read moreclimate control problems, windshield wipers not working, an airbag light, and service advance trac warnings. Their online scheduling system originally booked my appointment incorrectly for 4/2 instead of 4/3, but they did agree to still look over the vehicle, which I appreciated. After diagnosing the vehicle on 4/3, they contacted me with recommended repairs and I approved the work. My vehicle remained there for over two weeks and I picked it up after hours on Friday, 4/24. Immediately after pickup, I realized several of the original issues were still unresolved. The windshield wipers still did not work, the airbag light was still on, and later I discovered my backup camera no longer worked and the ambient temperature display now only showed dashes instead of a reading. I texted them that same evening regarding the unresolved issues. A few days later, I was told the wipers had essentially been forgotten about after another repair was completed and that the airbag concern was not something they worked on due to liability reasons -- something that was never communicated to me upfront despite being one of the main reasons I brought the vehicle in. The only repair that appears improved are the brakes, however now the vehicle shakes while braking. I can finally turn the heat off, but now my AC no longer works either. What was most disappointing to me was the lack of follow-up afterward. I sent a respectful message explaining my concerns after picking the vehicle up and never received any response. At that point, it stopped feeling like an honest mistake and started feeling like my concerns simply were not important. I understand older vehicles can be difficult to diagnose, but after spending a significant amount of money and being without my vehicle for over two weeks, I expected better communication, more thorough follow-through, and confirmation that the original concerns had actually been resolved before returning the vehicle. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the experience.
