Never had a good experience with this shop. My Yukon was making noise in the front wheel and they looked at it and quoted me over 600 and took it to Elm Chevy and it was only 200. WTF and it wasn't even what Good year said was wrong with it. The part that Good Year quoted wasn't even bad. Never recommended they to anyone. read more

I have been a regular customer of Goodyear, Elmira, NY, for quite awhile. I have always purchased quality tires and the separate package that inc. rotation, balance & alignment. I made it known that I have a mechanic to take care of my vehicle but love to have the Goodyear tires and additional service aforesaid mentioned. Unfortunately they would find something else to try to add on. I did have them inspect my vehicle at one point and they called me to tell me it would not pass inspection and I asked them not to inspect the vehicle in which they said they would not. I came to get the vehicle and the Tech was doing the inspection anyways. I paid for the failed inspection and took vehicle to my mechanic who told me there was no reason for them to fail your inspection. I purchased new tires in May 2025 and came into Goodyear in August 2025 to have them rotated, balanced and aligned. I was told I had a stripped lug nut. My vehicle had not been anywhere else for maintenance so I told them if there was a stripped lug nut that was on them. When I told Ken, front end staff, he agreed to take care of it but Bart, the salesman, came out and let me know this was not covered by warranty and this would not happen again. I let him know that my vehicle had not been worked on by anyone else since purchasing the tires. BART was argumentative and told me, in front of all the customers that they would no longer take care of a stripped lug nut because it is not part of their warrant. I was in the waiting area when he spoke to me from behind the desk, telling me that he wrote on my paperwork that I have another person who works on my vehicle and they would not cover the stripped lug nut if it happens again. I let Bart know that he would not have to worry about that because I would not be back. I filed a complaint with Goodyear over his behavior and excessive sales tactics, claim # 1905884. Goodyear did not get back to me concerning the complaint. I call 10/15/25 to see if BART still worked there because I want to get my tires rotated, balanced and alignment done. I was told he still works there. I let them know, as long as he works there I will not be back. I choose to not be manipulated, coerce, intimidated or bullied into buying into something that is not needed and I will not do business with anyone that does not value the customer. read more

I have been going in for years! I'm done now! I bought a used BMW, it needed an inspection! The manager came out & told me rear rotors all rust & needed brakes! they told me the car must have been sitting!! quote was for $845. I said I cannot do it today! Then before I left he said sorry it's going to be $300. more! I took to another mechanic he said they weren't as bad as they said & did the work for $450. !! way better than $1100.00. also the owner had put 4,000 miles on it since Goid Year inspected it in April! shame on you , just because a girl comes in doesn't mean you can fool her! Have been calling the number Good year gave me when responding to this review and no one answering!!! read more

The technician didn't put my convertible on the mount correctly before its inspection. It caused broken panels in front of both front wheels as well as broken secondary fenders underneath. They will be paying for all of the repair work which includes new parts and a paint job. I'd give them a negative star if I could. read more

I needed new brake pads and rotors .... again. I couldn't understand why I kept needing new rotors, why the brake pads weren't getting caught at oil changes and tire rotating. Mark explained that you're not supposed to top up the brake fluid. They don't at Goodyear. As the pads wear down, the cylinders take more oil, so your brake light is supposed to come on when you need new brake pads. They check brake pads whenever they look at a car. I'm definitely going back to this Goodyear for all my servicing needs. read more

Made an appointment online and received a confirmation email for the time of my appointment. Arrived at the scheduled time and was told I didn't have an appointment. If you don't check online appointments then you should not allow it as an option. What an inconvenience. Will not be using Goodyear in the future. read more

This shop was very accommodating when I needed to swap out two tires due to an unrepairable flat. They went out of their way to track down a pair of tires in Corning that would work for me and got the tires changed pretty quickly on a Saturday morning when I had no appointment. I brought a flat tire in to Goodyear that I thought would definitely have to be replaced. I could tell from the outside that it had a large screw in it. The waiting room here was very comfortable, and the people who staffed the shop were kind and welcoming. They showed me the screw (which was huge), and convinced me that they could patch it effectively for much less money. Several years later, the tire is still doing great. They were right about the patch, and they have a grateful customer: I'm surprised and gratified to know that they'd care more about satisfying a customer than making an extra buck. read more

I have been very happy with this Goodyear and have gone back there for oil changes etc... I bought new tires there and felt I got a good price... when you buy tires there, you get free lifetime tire rotation so that is a great deal....staff is very friendly.... I needed a ride home one time and got one and then a ride back to the place...not every place does this... I would not hesitate to take my vehicle there again... I do not feel that they want to tell you to make unnecessary purchases... they will point things out but it is up to you to decide... have to call them soon to get another oil change... Avoid at all costs... They charged me for 2 hours labor and only did 30 min worth of work. The owner - Steve- is sarcastic and condescending. They do not care about the safety of your vehicle. Go elsewhere and save yourself some grief. I wish I had. read more
