I dropped my dads car off this morning around 8am and they said it should be done by end of day. 5:20 pm, I never got a call, they closed already and left, and nobody even attempted to make contact with me. Wife took the car in for an oil change that should have cost $40 and ended up costing nearly $70. The worst part was they informed her that the inner side wall of her front tire was "split" and she needed to replace both front tires at a cost of $700!! She brought the car home to me , I pulled the front tires and surprise, no splits. Scam or simple mistake? You decide. Will be going elsewhere. read more

I have used this Goodyear off and on for about 10 years. They have generally been responsive and helpful. My cars have usually not needed more than and oil change or a nail puncture plugged. read more

Had a problem with a tire holding air. Dropped in unannounced and they found the problem, repaired the tire, and got us out of there in 30 minutes. We found everyone to be polite and professional. We'll definitely go to this location when we need tire help. read more

My husband and I made appointments for oil changes for both of our cars at Goodyear on Sunday. His appointment was at 1, and mine was at 2. I showed up with my car at 2PM and my husband was still waiting for them to finish up with his car. We sat together in the waiting area, and within 20 minutes my car was pulled around and my maintenance was done. We asked when my husband's car would be ready and were told "in just a few minutes". We waited, and waited, and waited some more. No one could tell us what the delay was. Finally, at 2:45, after waiting an hour and 45 minutes, I pointedly asked what was taking so long. They couldn't tell us. Several customers had come and gone in the time it took us to wait for my husband's car. At 2:55, after a nearly two hour wait, they FINALLY took my husband's car down and brought it around. When he inquired (again!) as to why it took so long they said they had issues with a latch on his battery (he'd asked them to check that, since there was a loose connector issue). They gave us $20 off his service for the extended wait, which we appreciated for the time we had to wait, but they should have communicated with us about what was taking so long. My husband had only asked them to check the battery latch because he thought it would be just a quick thing, had we known it would take so long, we would have told them not to bother with it. read more

Do not go here!!! I dropped off my car last week, for a one hour oil change at 11:00am, I asked if they could drive me to my house (which was 2 miles away), I waited 20 mins and then when they did drive me to my house, the courtesy van had a cracked windshield and no air conditioner when it was 100 degrees in Charlotte. I (sort of) appreciated the ride, but was told my car would be ready at 2:30, I was a little upset, but after their many of excuses of why it would take so long, I just agreed. My car was ready at 6pm, I was told that they couldn't pick me up, and I have to coordinate a ride there, and to top it off, my car leaked oil for three days. I had to go to Pineville Minekee to have them replace the oil Filter. If you want good service and good work, go to Minekee in Pinville, not GOOD YEAR!!!! read more

My husband and I have had great customer service at this location making us want to bring our vehicles to them more often. The manager that is there often has giving us great deals on tires, brakes, and other services. We just dropped off our truck for an oil change and he gave it to us for free. This is probably the most I have ever paid for an oil change. Told her what kind of car I had and need a basic oil change. Then she says she needs to google what kind of oil my car needs doesn't do that then only offers me two types of oil. That's honestly are quit expensive. It's a bit of an older car and that's all you have to offer. I ask questions and she basically repeats back what I've stated to her. Bad business here. The representative at the desk said my alignment was ok. Or maybe he said my alignment was slightly off. At any rate he said I might not need an alignment, but that I should buy one. It is 85 dollars. l I said no thanks, not today. He said you paid 85 before so I should pay twice that now. My alignment didn't need to be adjusted when I brought it in. However no my rear alignment is damaged. Someone at this service center location caused this damage. I went in for a new tire. Came out with four good tires and badly damaged rear suspension. Bad business. You can tell yourself this is an anomaly and a circumstance particular to me. But it is just bad business. read more

Until my experience today I recommended this location to several people because the service was affordable, never issues afterwards, and good customer service.. I guess Stacey is no longer there and the new guy was pretty bad. I couldn't hear anything he said, didn't tell me the price before starting, couldn't explain anything when I asked questions, and took 5 minutes for him to arrive at the front desk to help me, and the end price was double from past visits. My husband went in with a grinding noise in his rear tires. They inspected it for 45 minutes and informed him that his rear end needed to be replaced. He asked if he could look inside it and they said they did not pull the cover so he left. He did some research online and he had none of the symptoms of a bad rear end so he took things apart himself. His right rear brake was rusted and nonfunctional and his left rear brake was rusted and had broken parts. For $50 in springs and brake shoes he fixed the problem that Goodyear wanted to charge him $1800 for. This is the second bad goodyear experience we have had within the last month. read more

I was a little apprehensive about coming to this location because of the previous review. However as soon as I called the store I received friendly customer service. I arrived at my appointment time and they were ready for me. I was greeted by Michael. The price I was quoted was what I was charged. They took the expected amount of time for an oil change and tire rotation, like an hour. Wi-Fi is a little spotty but other than that I had a favorable experience. And im a magnet for bad customer service experiences so i had to write a review when it's a good one. I also found out the staff had been changed. I would give this location a chance. Great service. Price for a single tire was a little higher than I'd hoped, but I was in and out in under two hours as a walk-in.

I had a near flat with a nail in the tire. They said they could me get right to it. The other place was going to make me wait an hour and a half. They got me in and fixed it up great! Undoubtedly the worst service center I have ever been to. Only go because we bought the tires there and they have lifetime balancing. But we are going to pay for lifetime somewhere else and eat the cost. That's how bad it is. It's not the job the techs do - I really haven't seen issue with that. The technicians I've met seem nice enough. No the problem is the the front staff: most specifically the "manager". He is a straight up jerk. He has been rude every time we go. And he will never give info on this boss to complain to. It's independently owned or something so it's difficult to track down someone to speak to. Which I doubt would matter. He has gotten an attitude for the littlest things with me: like me walking into the storefront. But he was a complete monster to my wife and kids. He treated her as an inferior person not deserving of respect and my kids the same. If I were there for that treatment the police would likely have been involved. Even though we will never return at this point - I want everyone to be aware and try to refrain from giving this man any business. read more

Horrible experience. Had a tire put on my car and my tires rotated. After that I heard and felt a noise coming from my tires. I went back and told them and they said it was just the tread wear and that they were fine (mind you they never even pulled my car in to inspect them). I parked my car for two days while I worked, just to leave in it and find out my tire is nearly flat. The tire ended up tearing because of it. I had my spare put on at Meineke since it was right there and they said there was a leak in the bead. I brought it back to Goodyear and told them and they basically said sorry it's not their problem. Just had a horrible experience at this shop. Brought it in for an alignment and was told I needed new power steering rack bushings. Was then informed bushings were not available anymore and would need a new power steering rack. Was informed they could get one today and installed for 1000.00. Ok. No problem. I can do that repair with my personal mechanic and bring it back for an alignment. The issue: Asked the store manager what size the tie rod was, 14mm or 16mm so I can order the correct one. He said he didn't know, it was his service manager who called me. Asked him to please ask him as he should know due to the fact he told me he could get one in. Store manager said he'd have to get it in and back on the rack. He wouldn't even go ask his Service Manager for me! Was planning on bring my GF's car in also to be aligned also. Customer service has dropped tremendously in lots of ways. No communication with approximately how long you would be waiting or none throughout waiting hours and hours-not courteous at all. I made an appt first thing this morning and yes I was a little bit late. My vehicle did not even go back for an hour and vehicles came after me went back first. Mine was not getting anything major done either. Last time I was here also I was here 4 hours longer than expected due to their fault. I was here until AFTER close and was told I would be done way earlier. They messed up with a part. I live on other side of town now and still drive 30 minutes to continue to come here, thought I would give them a second chance... this will be the absolute last time I go here. Also I am coming here today because of something that was supposed to be looked at from last visit but no time since they messed up. read more

We dropped off our car at 9am and we were told it would take 1 hour for an oil change and to plug one tire. We dropped it off and figured it would be ready when would go back in an hour. At 12pm, they told us they were just taking it back. At 1pm, my car was still sitting in the same spot where I parked it at 9am. The gentleman helping us, just smirked and said they are taking it back now. We just took our keys and left. There are plenty of business around that would treat us better and stick to their word.
