Took my EV here for a tire leak. Once the front desk went to the back, they came back and refused service. They said their lifts were not capable of lifting EVs. I look in the bay to a vehicle with a significantly higher vehicle weight. I call back asking to have a new set of tires purchased and installed. They happily agreed to lift the same EV for new tires. Obviously, I will not be doing business with them. Corporate needs to force them to remove the Goodyear signs at this location. read more

I was on a driving trip to DC and blew a tire on a Sunday afternoon. The only tire repair center open was the Goodyear on Powell road. They were FANTASTIC!!!! I so appreciate them fixing my tire!! The manager was Tessa and she was MAGNIFICENT!! She handled everything so professionally. Her team knocked out my tire in record time and I was back on the road! I was so thankful that they were open. I hate to think about driving all the way to DC on a doughnut tire! The fix they did was on the INSIDE of the tire... not the regular drill and plug like in the old days. Very professional, friendly.... the shop was clean and inviting. I had to have a battery replaced as it was dying. My car barely got there. When they were done they said that will be $850. Wait what? Yes, $850. Unbelievable, they will take advantage of you when you need the help the most. Don't go there. I won't be anymore. read more

Excellent customer service! They repaired our tire at no cost over a holiday weekend.

I booked a same-day appointment online and went in at my scheduled time to get a slow leak looked at. The service manager told me I shouldn't have used their online booking system because it doesn't connect well into their system in the store and they really didn't have time for me but would squeeze me in because I was there. He told me to leave my car there and they would call me at the end of the day when they got a chance to look at it. At the end of the day they called me and said there was no issue with my tire. They couldn't find a place where it was leaking at all. I told him this has been an ongoing issue for a few months where I have to put air in the tire every couple of weeks and he said "if I can't see a problem, I can't fix it." When I got to the location to pick up my car, I noticed it was parked in the same spot, in the same crooked way I had backed it in. I started to believe they never even looked at the car. A few weeks later, today, my light came back on, so I took it to a competitor, NTB. They instantly found a leak in the tire and repaired it for me. They also told me there is no way my tire was looked at before because the leak was very obvious. Very annoyed to get this kind of service from Goodyear especially because it is so close to my house. I will definitely go out of my way to go to a different company in the future after this experience. read more

Went there to get my alignment done supposedly talked to the manager who scheduled me an appointment. Once I arrived there I was treated like they were doing me a favor when I'm paying to her my service done for me and as soon as they got my car up there they said oh sorry we don't have enough time we can't do it you have to leave it or come back later another day. My new go-to place to get my car fixed. The people who work here were professional, diligent, honest, and worked quickly. In short, my car had an issue that I thought was going to be a quick fix with a replacement headlight. Upon further inspection, it turns out it was a bigger electrical issue. When the mechanics looked at it and adjusted a few wires, they discovered that it didn't require any invasive repairs. Turns out I had to go back! I went for oil change etc. at another place (review coming) and they broke the lock on one of my tires and then stripped the threads trying to get it off. They told me "those locks just break sometimes" yeah right! Anyway...they couldn't fix it that day so I went to Goodyear. They couldn't fix it at first but the wonderful manager, Aaron, told me to bring it back after the weekend when they would have more techs to work on it. They fixed it!!!! Yes I had to pay but it wasn't that much and I was thrilled to only be out of my car for a day (not a couple days estimate like the joint that busted it in the get go) read more

This has by far been the worst service I have ever received. I took my car here to have the rear passenger tire replaced after getting a flat tire. They "supposedly" replaced the tire and charged me $170.00 for a new one. After leaving I noticed my car developed a shake. I made an appointment to bring the car back in thinking it must not have been balanced after replacing the tire. Upon arrival to my 7 am appointment the service manager, Chuck, was extremely rude to me and told me it wasn't a tire issue and if i wanted the car looked at it would be 104 dollars for a diagnostic test. He never once looked at the car he only made an assumption. I left after receiving the worst customer service. I took my car to another body shop where I found out that the rear passenger tire was never replaced. I was driving on my original patched tire. I had contacted Goodyear to resolve this issue and demanded i be refunded my 170.00 dollars since they never replaced my tire. I have yet to resolve this issue. Went here as it was close to where I live. Had a screw in my tire. They pulled it in and 10 minutes later informed me they had some bad news. The screw was too close to the sidewall, they couldn't fix it. They could however put a new tire on for me and provided me with a quote for one as I asked them to back the car out so that I could leave. The following morning I took the car to Discount Tire on 23 and Powell Road. They took it in, fixed it (at no cost) and everything took about 30 minutes! I told them about what I experienced at Goodyear and they were surprised saying the screw was well within the range of fixing with no issues relative to the sidewall. OK, maybe the guidelines are different by shop but this entire situation has me questioning whether Goodyear was just trying to sell me a tire? Can't be sure but sure seems suspicious to me. My recommendation: go to Discount Tire, great customer service and fair on their repairs. read more

I've had our vehicles into the Powell Rd. location a few times over the last year for both mechanical issues and routine maintenance and have always been impressed. These guys are honest, trustworthy, and most importantly great mechanics. On two occasions they have saved me hundreds of dollars (in one case almost $1000) because they took the time to fully inspect and correctly diagnose the problem instead of trying to soak me for as much as possible. In the case of the $1000 savings, the shop I'd used for years said I needed to replace most of the front end suspension components on my wife's 7 year old vehicle with less than 80K miles. My wife is an infuriatingly cautious driver so I sincerely doubt she's been ramping railroad tracks and fish tailing around corners on her way to dropping the kids off at school. I should actually write a scathing review for that place since apparently their new corporate motto is: "We do work that doesn't need to be done especially if it's expensive." Anyway, enough of the editorializing. I didn't believe them and sought a 2nd opinion at Goodyear. They figured out that the problem was a single bushing that needed replaced. Almost a year later, there have been no further problems with that issue. Can't say enough about their integrity, professionalism, and service - always excellent. I almost never write reviews for anything and I definitely don't do gushing reviews but the Powell Rd location is that good. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

Brought my mini cooper in due to a slight oil leak, i tried Midas across sawmill road first and i was completely disappointed with their service, quality of work and amount of time it took for them to do nothing at all. This was my first time at Goodyear and the lady at the front desk was very nice and explained exactly what the mechanics would do to my car. My car was in the shop and on the lift in just 5 minutes and a worker was already inspecting my car. Soon i went out to watch them work and i saw the mechanic who was working on my car inspecting other parts and making sure everything was sound. i was greeted by another mechanic who was kind and talking to me about my car. Around 10 minutes later the manager said i needed to pay $50.00 for a dye test to see where the oil is leaking from, although Midas said the same thing, Goodyear took care of me better, looked after my car like it was there own car and handed me a detailed packet of what work they did and wanted to do with cost. They won my business and i will be back for sure when needed. Highly recommended. read more
