Turkey bacon in spinach wrap! Grade A ... layered and generous ingredients! 60c for ranch, tasted quality. Hubbs got Goody's breakfast burrito.Grade B-...He said he liked it and was good! Salsa had a little kick. Unsweetened tasted like it was freshly brewed. Service good..food came out quickly! Good amount of seating. Right by Denny's, and rather go here vs anywhere too crowded. Bathrooms decent.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this "Goody's". I frequently go to a different Goody's which is in Palm Desert. I always have great food, service and clean everywhere. THIS location is exactly opposite. Maricela has to be one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL and CONDESCENDING server/ cashier I've experienced in along time. First I ordered a simple Number 28. She punched in the wrong food and when I asked for no potatoes, she said "Oh you wanted something different, I thought it was eggs and bacon". Then when I got my order she put in the wrong eggs or the chef made the wrong food. I asked for eggs over medium. So when she brought food it was scrambled eggs. I asked if I could get the over medium that I ordered. And while standing in front of me on her headset said "Did he order scrambled eggs? Then she just walked away. When she brought my eggs she said ( while holding my eggs back) " I need those scramble back first!" In a very attitude of a way. Not to mention the bathrooms were dirty and they talk real loud, and not professionally between them and the cooks. I am VERY disappointed with this location.

Would go to the Dennys right across but finally decided to give this place a shot since family members have recommended it to me. The place inside was clean and a few people, and was able to order right away once we figured out what to get. It was still breakfast time so that's what we got. They do have a good sized menu of different things but wanted to try their French toast. It was about 10-15 min and they bring the food out to your table. Not sure if they do that if it's really busy but it was nice that they did. Especially since at the time of this review I recently had surgery so been on crutches. I finished all my food, except the bacon, which I usually don't finish but it came with the combo I got. The bacon tasted good but like usual salty. But we both enjoyed our food and were satisfied. Definitely would come back to try other things on their menu. Hopefully they are good as what we got for breakfast.

This place was a great spot to eat breakfast! Everything was so so good. The girl at the register was so nice and friendly! We even had a little conversation about my purse she was the sweetest! Wish I got her name so I could shout her out. The inside was also very clean and had AC.

I'm here a few times a week for years. Staff is always cordial and helpful. Food is good and consistent. Best goodies in the Coachella valley. I think I've tried all of them.

We pretty much have tried every location that we pass. It's affordable truck stop style; not up scale expensive resturaunt. *Palm Desert if our favorite. Five stars *Palm Springs IF you eat in, it's great. Drive through I'd pass. *Thousand Palms is okay (photo is from here).

Philly cheesesteak no green peppers. It was good. But the fries were too salty.

Such an awful experience. I ordered a tuna melt with avocado and added tomato and lettuce. They did not want to take my coupon. Then I look in my sandwich, there was a piece of avocado no bigger than my thumb! and barely spread on . I went back to tell them. They said that's the amount they put. For $3.60? That's robbery! The girl gave me attitude and try to argue. She even took the sandwich back into the kitchen after I already opened it and handled my food and showed the cooks. She gave me a rude reply on what did I want them to do about it. Either a refund or they could give me more. Umm you mean give me the amount that's worth almost $4? I should've just gone to the store for it. Honestly I should have asked for the refund because the small sauce cup of what they gave me of avocado was worse! It was going bad and already turning black. I didn't want to argue and just left. The lettuce was so old and inedible and there were hard pieces of bread (?) in my sandwich . Also hard breading on the zucchini that could've chipped a tooth! Definitely not coming back! Almost $30 ( almost $14 for the melt alone, zucchini almost $9, two ranches .60 cents each and $3.59 avocado), definitely not worth it!

    Interior is nice and clean!

Fast food choices nearby, but we wanted breakfast and saw this next to Denny's which had more reviews and less stars. Come here and you won't be sorry. Could see our vehicle through the shades and have a nice clean atmosphere, friendly employees and most importantly the food looked and tasted good for a reasonable price. The toast was the only thing I didn't really like. The "butter" texture and taste was more like a very yellow oil. But the three eggs and steak and hash browns were a nice size to split. (We almost always split our food so it's great when the portions are good.) Hubby said the Mexican food that was being served looked good too, so we will try lunch another time.

Sunday brunch is always a thing we try to maintain…read more Gives us the chance to go someplace new but I tend to return to places that made a lasting impression. This place being one of them. We arrived close to 1 in the afternoon. They open till 3 so we still had some time. Checked in with the hostess which for indoor seating it would be about 25 minutes or so for a table. They did have open tables available on the patio which that was the only option at the moment. Mind you even with the misters going on and the shade covering, I was sticking to my clothes. I do love the heat but, it was too hot and humid and kind of unbearable to enjoy a meal. Instead, went back inside to put our name down for a table inside. Luckily, there was an open one available which we were offered. Made a huge difference with the patio. It was the table by the door so whenever the door opened, you still felt the hot air. Anyways, beats eating outside. Norma was our waitress which she was amazing and very sweet. Friendly which is alway a plus anywhere you go. Menu, they have a good selection for breakfast as well as specialty plates for lunch. Sandwiches, salads and other amazing items. As it was Sunday brunch, I do love a good breakfast. We started off with some mimosas. They offer both the bottle or by the glass. Both selections you would need to add orange juice which is an additional fee. Last time we went with the bottle and a carafe of orange juice. Still decent for 25.00 and additional fee for the juice. But this time we opted for the glass which comes out to 10.00 and it comes with two refills. Additional 2.00 for the orange juice. So basically 3 glass for 10.00 which you can't beat. Food, the hangover omelette. I enjoyed it last time that it was ordered again. 3 egg omelette with ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper, serrano peppers and topped with green onions, sour cream and cheddar cheese. That's come with your choice of toast and a side which their tots are alway good. Also a side order of pancakes, 1 piece. Then the steak caprese omelette. That was a first time trying it and it was great. 3 egg with cubes new your steak, fresh spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, melted mozzarella and their house made pesto. Also comes with your choice of bread and a side. Went with the fruit which was blueberries, a couple of grapes and pineapple chunks. Not the prettiest selection but it'll do. Both omelette was tasty and plentiful. Their food was good and we enjoyed everything. Omelette was flavorful which is a plus. Also can't go wrong with the tater tots. Their other items looked amazing from all the dishes being brought out. Definitely need to try it next time. Plus you can't beat the mimosas deal for 10.00. Service was great and Norma took very good care of us. The place isn't that big. It's probably the same amount of seating inside and outside. Inside also has bar seating that looks into the kitchen. But with the heatwave that's going on. Kind of expected for the summer but outside seating could be a little uncomfortable even with the mister spraying. Inside could be a little wait but I would recommend it as it'll be more comfortable with your meal. Until next time.

Our overall experience was lacking in almost every way. We were seated outside, and this was bad. The only available table was on the side by the street, and we were in full blast range for the wind and the sound of their outdoor AC. I can't put it to words how this impacted our overall meal, and the immediate regret we felt. Their indoor seating was also not going to be possible for us because of just how loud it was. Our server took our food and drink order right away, but she never checked in on us after the drop off. I ordered the Irish iced coffee, looking forward to getting a nice treat drink. I ended up getting just a regular iced coffee, and unfortunately I had no chance to try and flag anyone down to get this sorted out since we were never checked on once the items were delivered. This includes the waters we ordered for the table as well. The only good thing about this was that I was only charged for an iced coffee. The eggs Benedict were simply "ok" and rather unremarkable. They arrived just above room temperature and while they weren't bad, they weren't great either. The sandwich was fine, but the home fries were over seasoned by far and had way too much salt. Overall, this was a disappointing brunch. Unless they really look into the quality of the food, the lack of table service, and their terrible side dining area by their outdoor AC, I can say we have no plans on returning.

I really wanted pancakes and I'm super picky when looking at pics. So, I landed on The Palms Cafe after scouring pall the options in the local Yelp recommendations. Parking was a breeze as there is a large lot with plenty of parking. We were greeted as we walked in by the friendly staff. It seemed to be a hot spot for locals and the place was buzzing on a Sunday morning. There was plenty of table seating and also a fully stocked bar with seating as well. We opted for the bar and were instructed to choose our seats The menu was extensive and offered so many good options. I am a breakfast person and have tried so many restaurants, of course. This is by far now a top favorite of mine and my family. We will definitely be coming back when we visit the area. I ordered: Chicken Fried Steak - really good / pretty standard Soft Scrambled Eggs (add cheese) - The best soft scramble so far at a restaurant. Home fries - good Pancakes - outta sight, among the best!! Good taste, texture. Soft and fluffy. Definitely noteworthy. Visited with the boyfriend, June 2026…read more Ordered eggs, toast, hash browns and a side of onion rings and the BF had a hamburger with potato salad. When my breakfast arrived, the hashbrowns were almost cold and whilst the toast was nice and brown, as I had requested, I wasn't happy with the hashbrowns. My boyfriend said his burger was good. The potato salad was good, but the potatoes were a little hard. Our waitress, after dropping the food off, did not come back to us to check if everything was ok, not once. I was going to make a complaint about my cold hash browns, but there was no one to talk to about it so I gave up. There was also a greasy flavor to the eggs and the hashbrowns, which can happen if the oil is not changed enough. All in all it was a disappointment, I have driven by this place so many times on the way to my library in Rancho Mirage and I had wanted to try it for years. But if you're serving lukewarm hashbrowns with your breakfast, and if your waitress does not come back and check on you one time to ask you how is everything going, that is not good. She literally didn't even come back to top up my coffee. The coffee was not great either. Another server did to up my coffee once and then when someone came to give us the check, they left the wrong one. It was for a different table. All in all the service was not good. Conclusion, if you look at some of the reviews here, many people have said that no one checked on them once their order was delivered to their table so obviously no one's reading these reviews because this is still happening. I mean seriously this is basic service 101. You drop off the food you give them a little bit of time and then you go back to make sure everything's OK. Maybe they know it's not OK so don't want to ask.
