    Fried bologna

Great food. Many options but you're at a brewery and you're a captive audience. You can not rate the ambiance because the brewery supplies that but the food is really good.

Brunch here was unreal. Their food is phenomenal. You have to try it!! It's the perfect addition to Jackie O's. I want them to open another location!

Had a great brunch on Jackie O's patio by ordering from Goood Friends. You order using a QR code on their menu, and the food is ready in a very reasonable time (probably about 10 minutes the morning we ordered; we arrived right after they opened at 11). The brunch menu features burgers and similar kinds of sandwiches along with brunch style dishes, like egg sandwiches, French toast with fried chicken, add-ons, loaded fries, and more. Drinks would be ordered inside at the Jackie's bar. We ordered a burger, the chicken sandwich, and the French toast to share. Everything was very well-made and incredibly tasty (and a bit messy-- you pick up the food at their pick up window and it is wrapped up to go, but if you eat on site, you will be eating with plastic forks and knives and paper wrappings as plates). My favorite was the juicy Jackie burger, which features both grilled and crispy onions, pickles, and melted cheese. The chicken sandwich was also pretty good, though the dark meat was a little overly battered for my taste. The French toast was excellent, with touches like miso maple butter, and rosemary, to really elevate it. I'm looking forward to coming back with a bigger group. I'm trying more food.

She is beauty. She is grace. Shove these sandwiches in your face. They were unreal. No matter what they're serving on any given day, you can bet it's going to deliver. Such unique and creative mouth-watering combinations that go perfectly with the Jackie O's vibe which is already so immaculate. The perfect bar food - incredibly filling and reasonably priced. The service is quick and easy - they'll text you when it's ready so there's really no waiting in line. I still dream about the bologna sandwich - one of my favorite sandwiches from my ten year spurt in Columbus. The Warby's Melt and Old Faithful are also some reliable menu options that pack just as much punch. Don't miss it.

Okay. So we came here off Warios being amazing. And let me just say this did not disappoint. I got the special which was birria pot roast tacos with mashed potatoes. They. We're. So. Good. And the consumme. I drank the whole thing. Admittedly, if they sub the mashed for cheese I think that could be a menu staple and was absolutely delicious. We also tried the roast beef sandwich. I wish they would have put the horsy sauce on the top bun because it made the bottom bun soggy. It was delicious though. We asked for extra horsy sauce. 10/10. Loved it. First time a Jackieos too. Loved the beer and the vibes.

The window outside of Jackie O's! There's not much to judge, it blurs between them and Jackie O's, so we will talk about their food. I tried GooodFriends before I tried Wario's. Currently, for me, Wario's dominates this relationship - mainly because they're fast, consistent, and all the sandwiches I have had blew me away. And I can sit down (Clintonville location). My first experience here was the Melt, and I was let down. A nice, soggy bun, and the back half fell out when I picked up the sandwich. It tasted like all meat and a watering of sauce, so it was just meh. And that big, messy sandwich and... one napkin. ONE. NAPKIN. I recently popped back in, tried the Ol Faithful, and it was solid. It definitely won me back - yeah, they have a lot of additions (foie Gra, caviar?) and... why? Maybe someone with more money than myself can explain what they add to a sandwich, but I digress. I haven't had the Spuds at this location, but I am guessing they're as solid here. Basically - they're in a a great partnership with Jackie O's, but when you pick up your food - ASK FOR MORE NAPKINS.

    Ol Faithful

OMG!!!! I've been meaning to come here for a minute now and I totally get the hype now. I got the Ol Faithful, a chicken sandwich on a semolina roll. It was packed with flavor and the hot honey was the perfect touch of sweetness. I also got their fries with a green and a truffle sauce, IN-FREAKING-SANE! It's not 5 stars because I tried my friend's Juicy Jackie burger-- which was absolutely delectable (I should've gotten that!). I'll be coming back to try more things on their menu and their hot dog special on Wednesday's. There was ample amount of indoor/outdoor seating, and it was the perfect place to catch up with friends.

HOLY SH** Absolutely insane. I ordered the Juicy Jackie, she was wild. The Goood sauce on the burger was tangy but not spicy. The burger was cooked perfectly and just a little messy. A friend also ordered the smashed potato fries with the Classy sauce, a white truffle BBQ. As someone 10000% obsessed with truffle, it is ranked probably my fav fry dipping sauce now. Also service was so fast when ordering on the app. Staff was so kind too! Located near the back of Jackie O's, we will definitely be back soon!! I really cannot get over how good this place is, a must try in Columbus.

We have quickly become obsessed with Goood Friends! The sandwiches are well crafted and super unique! The tomato sandwich is my absolute favorite! Everyone working is super friendly- we always get the best service here! Love that it's inside Jackie O's so it's always a fun atmosphere! We've tried all of the sandwiches and our favorites are the burger, the fish and the tomato! Really looking forward to checking out brunch!

I had the opportunity to visit goood Friends for their grand opening this evening at Jackie O's. It's a cloud kitchen inside Jackie Os that serve some smacking burgers and sandwiches. The place was packed at 6 pm on a Friday evening. We found place to sit on the patio but the place was busy for hours. We tried the Juicy Jackie, Ol faithful and the trashy Spuds. The Juicy Jackie burger was juicy and the friend onion gave it great texture. My personal favorite was the Ol Faithful chicken sandwich. It had truffle flavor with a slight heat to it. It's drizzled with some hot honey but not a lot so it balances it out. The loaded spuds were just okay for me. they lacked seasoning and very dry / almost stale and no one likes dry potatoes Overall loved the ambiance for a Friday night where you can grab some great beers and enjoy some burgers on the patio. Definitely recommend the new place

Goood Friends' menu looks like a heart attack... and that's a compliment. After consuming some adult beverages onsite at Jackie O's, the brunch items were a must-get. The biscuit had good texture but lacked a little in flavor. Fortunately the butter and jam were able to pick up the slack. The McGooodGriddle and Sausage breakfast Sandwich were both greasy, meaty, fatty, carby pieces of work... and that's a compliment. Wife liked the Griddle more; I liked the sausage more; we both left happy. And I'm sure we'll return to eat just as unhealthily while exploring their lunch/dinner menu.

    Warby's Sandwich

I'm a huge fan of Wario's, so as soon as I heard about the Goood Friends concept opening up at Jackie-O's (another place I visit frequently), my taste buds started clamoring. The walk up window is in the patio area, and the menu and payment is entirely virtual by scanning a QR code. The current sandwich options include a mushroom beef burger, fried bologna, hot fried chicken, roast beef, fried walleye, and beefsteak. Sides include smashed spuds (Wario's), spuds with a bunch of toppings/sauce, elote and a salad. I tried the 'Warby's Melt' -- roast beef, wario wiz, horsey sauce, warby's sauce, and crispy onions, and a side of elote. It was a bit pricy ($22 total) but the sides are meant to be shared. They shoot you a text when the food is ready, and mine was done in under 5 minutes. My sandwich was alright, but not as good as I expected. It also has a pretty potent horseradish flavor, so if that's not your thing, beware. I think I was hoping for it to be on par with Wario's tried and true steak sandwich, but it didn't live up to that hype. The elote was pepperoni roll flavored which seemed a bit odd. And it was somewhat hard to eat, on the cob but cut into several chunks that left me unable to eat it without digging in with my hands. Overall, I think my expectations were set a bit too high for my first go at Goood Friends. That said, I find myself at Jackie-O's pretty frequently, so I'm bound to give it another shot.

My first time trying the crispy cauliflower and they're a WINNER! Light, crispy and very flavorful.

Kind, personable, and genuinely warm exactly the kind of energy that makes a meal feel like more than just a meal. The burger was everything it needed to be no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just a beautifully made sandwich that delivers on every level. The fries? Equally on point. Honestly, I have no notes. None. The beauty of a Saturday afternoon is there were sports on and TVs hanging on the walls. That made the wait easy. Boy do they know their stuff bc it was pretty much one hour to the minute when they called our name and escorted us to our table. We sat in a booth and took in on the collection of various items around the bar that have been gathered through the years and had some laughs at some of it. It was almost like a fun game of eye spy! They came to take our drink order and by the time they returned we were ready to order. We chatted for a bit and our food came out in what seemed to be a good time. I ordered the Patty Melt with onion straws. My husband got the Thurman Burger. We were surprised by its size when they came carrying it out to our table. Believe it or not he ate every single bite. Said it was delicious. Mine was equally as delicious. Maybe not quite as big but that was fine by me. I actually quite enjoyed that they served the 1000 island on the side. It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. They were actually just as good on their own as they were dipped in any kind of sauce. That's big coming from me bc I love dipping! We got a box for our leftovers and headed out happy with a great first time experience here.

Wanting wings, I ordered the Garlic Parmesan and tots. They offer grilled or fried and I thought I ordered fried but these tasted more like grilled. I was wanting that fried crunch but got more of a well cooked bite with a creamy garlic white sauce, then sprinkled with Parmesan. It was still good but when you're expecting crunch, it's slightly disappointing. Still a good wing but I wouldn't put it in the top 5. The tots, now they made up for the crunch. The Blue Cheese was exactly what I like, sweeter with a little funk. Maybe I should've specified fried. Wings are an indulgence to me. I don't want the healthy version. I want that crunchy-Lipitor sponsored-defibrillator on stand by-I can see my blood flowing-We'll start the diet Monday goodness that only a perfectly fried wing can offer. Still good tho.

No exaggeration, this was one of the best chicken Parmesans I've ever had, and that includes versions from legit Italian restaurants. The chicken cutlet was super crispy and perfectly seasoned, with a coating that was flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. The portion size was just right, not too big, not too small. I appreciated that the mozzarella on top was fresh and sliced, not the usual shredded kind. The sauces (yes, plural!) were rich and full of flavor, tying everything together beautifully. The only thing I think it was missing? Some garlic bread of some sort to go with it. That would've made it perfect. But honestly, it was still a fantastic dish on its own. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're anywhere near East Market. I'm already looking forward to going back and seeing what else is good on their menu.

Arrived approximately 3:30pm - restaurant basically empty (maybe 5 tables total occupied). Went to check in for 2 and the host said he had reservations at 5. Huh? So I asked do you mean you can't seat us until 5? And he said no, that we need to leave by then because other people are coming. I thought that was very weird and unprofessional. I've never had an experience like that before. It's a basic sit down place, why would you think we'd linger for more than an hour and a half? Whatever, weird feeling, but we were seated. Seated in the walkway. Not like in a path but literally blocking the walkway where you step down. Why do I say this? Because people walking by kept banging into me. Not their fault. Why is there a table there? And why were we seated there when at least 80% of the restaurant was empty???? Ok whatever. Ordered food including their signature made in-house tots. Waitress comes back and says they were slammed in the morning and they're out of tots. (Man I feel bad for the people coming at 5. LOL) whatever except the people at the next table appeared to be served tots. Food was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had a weird texture like the roux wasn't cooked properly. My patty melt was mostly bread as the patty was too small for the bread. My husband had the signature chimi burger and it completely lacked any chimichurri flavor. Like at all. We were out by 4ish (plenty of time for them to prepare for their expected onslaught) and needless to say I've unbookmarked this place from my yelp. Maybe we'll try the Mexican place across the street next time. ‍
