My wife was there with our two little children, trying to explain what I had been wearing, who I was with, and where we had been sitting. She was still ignored and received very little help from the staff. Eventually, I did get my phone back, and I'm thankful for that. But what bothers me is everything surrounding it. I tipped more than 20% that night. I always try to leave my table as clean as possible out of respect for the server and busser. I've been coming here for years. I genuinely love the food and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. I even have memories of getting ice cream with my son from the place next door, which I understand is under the same ownership. That's why this experience hurt more than it probably would have somewhere else. Maybe this was the actions of one server. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. I can't say for certain what every staff member knew. But from my wife's experience, no one seemed willing to help her, and the way the situation was handled felt dishonest, dismissive, and disrespectful. Something as simple as returning someone's lost phone should not have turned into this. I have a lot of good memories at Corrales, and I truly loved coming here. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't see myself coming back. Thanks for the memories, Corrales. I sincerely wish this situation had been handled differently. Very unprofessional and rude he told me to drive back and to stop calling because he was busy so i wasted my money to get complete shit , i use to loved this place and never had an issue but management needs to review this because for me to be pushed away this way without even an apology, ill make sure he learns that a customer shouldnt be treated this way!!! ,i pretty much order 2 times a week, and the proof is on my bank statements, but to be honest its a no more for me... thank god LOS COMALES aint that far from me . I understand that we all have bad days, but it's important not to take them out on others. After a productive day at work, I took my three helpers out to eat. When we arrived at the restaurant, we noticed that some tables had "Reserved" signs. I understood and moved to a table without any signs. Only one side of the table had the sign, so I figured we were fine sitting there. However, the staff member approached us with an unpleasant expression and, to my surprise, began shouting: "Can't you see the signs on the tables? You need to move to the other side; this side is wet!" I was taken aback but remained calm and apologized, explaining that we sat there because no sign was on this part of the table. She rudely responded, "But it's wet--don't you see?" At that point, one of my coworkers said, "You know what? Let's leave." And we did. As a business owner, I know how important it is to treat customers with respect. If you're having a rough day, it's better to talk to someone or take a moment to reset--don't let it impact your interactions with others. And if a mistake happens, a sincere apology goes a long way. read more

Best gorditas in Chicago, period. Drive, walk, take public transportation or run to this place ASAP. It is definitely worth the the visit to Cicero, IL. The gorditas (front and center, in the spotlight, seriously grinding your tastebuds into a greasy horned up frenzy) are the best. It's a total foodgasm when you take your first bite and you get that burst of flavor. OMG HEAVENLY! We are in love. JL's favorite was the beans and cheese gordita - so simple yet so awesome. There was this relish/veggie/ thing on the table...our friend said it was really good. However, we did not give it a try, but we noticed all of the other patrons putting these items on their sandwiches, etc. Everything is freshly made and the salsa rocks. Great find. No frills.
