I ordered a cauliflower pizza at Gordon Ramsay's food court in Harrah's Cherokee casino around 6:50 pm on 7/16/26 with an outstanding encounter with Mellisa a manager on duty at the time I paid $2.50 more for the cauliflower crust when I bit into it, it tastes chalky to me and tasteless so I went back to let the cashier know that I wanted a regular pizza dough, since I had one before it was so delicious Manager Melissa came out to greet me smiling asked me what would I like to order instead. I mentioned to her that I had the regular crust pizza before Melissa immediately put my order in for a regular pizza and she walked over and gave instructions to the pizza creators I was truly impressed with Mellisa's warm caring disposition given to me with ease I felt with the return and re-ordered Melissa has outstanding customer service skills. That's a rarity today to show compassionate, empathy and going out of her way to make sure my meal was superb quality. Whether it's coffee, a pastry, some bottled drinks, or food, everything here is good quality. Of course, we were paying casino prices, but that is expected. No complaints about the food or drinks. My wife and I went to Harrah's casino for 3 nights from Thursday to Sunday. We came here for lunch on the day of our arrival and most of the restaurants were closed. What kind of food court opens most of the restaurants at 4:00 p.m. like this place? Crazy. We decided to keep wandering around the casino and hotel complex and see what else was available but before we left we stopped at the pub in the food court and ordered a couple of drinks. We had one gin and tonic and one old fashioned for a total of $43 not including the tip. On Saturday for dinner we returned and that was a serious mistake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The crowds were insane. Several people mentioned that they had never seen it this crowded but it was because of Larry the Cable Guy being there that evening for a performance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All ordering is done on a set of self-service kiosks that are in the middle of the food court. That was confusing because everyone had to learn from other people that this is the way you order food. It was especially difficult for some of the more senior citizens and whoever thought about putting this in a casino really needs to be replaced. So after you order at the kiosk you then have to listen for your name to be called at the places you ordered. I ordered from the sushi place and from the burger place so I had to stand between them and wait for my name to be called at one and then the other. It's definitely not user friendly if you're ordering multiple meals from multiple stations. The small few pieces of coconut shrimp with fried rice cost $27. It was worth about 7. My hot dog was $13.95 plus a dollar to upgrade to sweet potato fries. It was a regular hot dog. Each of our small fountain drinks was $3. The drink dispensers were only dispensing foam. Take a look at my photo to see. Grand total of $49. The Chinese dish was ready in 10 minutes but the hot dog took 25 minutes. We visited the casino while staying at a cabin nearby. I thought it would be cool to say I had something Gordon Ramsey. I really wanted to try the pizza but we were eating at the cabin later so I got a slice of strawberry shortcake and peanut butter pie. Both were good but nothing special. Well, now I know why the ratings here are so poor... At first glance, this GR Food Market (inside Harrah's Cherokee Casino) is a really nice food court... I also liked the variety of food options... everything from Burgers, Tacos and Pizza to Sushi and Fish 'n Chips. Sadly, there were several different issues going on. First of all, we stopped into the Food Court for lunch on Monday, and half of the vendors were closed!! WHAT?!? Food Court not open during weekday for lunch??? I do recall them being open for dinner on Sunday night...but not for Monday lunch. Ridiculous! Also, the few vendors that were open, there were hardly any one-on-one service. They wanted us to do everything via their automated screens (or barcode)..which wasn't the friendliest kinds either. In fact, we felt it was bad business because a majority of folks there (LOTS of Senior Citizens!) seemed quite frustrated with the automated ordering system they were forced to use. Anyway, we both opted to scan the barcode, and order our foods that way...and it too had its problems. I, for one, got ripped off ordering 2 sets of Fries. Why? I ordered a burger (Street Burger), and I don't recall seeing that it came with fries, so I ordered a side of Fries. Total tally of $23...which I thought was a bit too expensive...but that was largely due to the fact I ordered an extra set of fries which I didn't need! Burger was fairly substantial, and better than anticipated...and the Fries were really good. I was still ticked because what I really wanted to order were the Pizza...but when we went by there, and I asked the guy if I can order, he just rudely screamed out, "CLOSED"! (I don't think he spoke English too well). Well, they opened about 5 minutes after that fact...and if he had told me, I would have waited. Instead, I had to resort to a Burger...which really isn't my thing. For all of these reasons, I can't rate them any higher than 2. My husband got the Tacos, and he seemed to like it O-Kay, but not quite thrilled. All in all, the food court experience was beyond disappointing... especially given its potential to be great. Again, why closed for lunch during the week? There were plenty of people waiting to be served! I guess finding staff must have been the issue. Wasn't able to get a reservation at any of the sit down restaurants at Harrah's, as expected when trying to get dinner last minute on a Saturday night so went to Gordon Ramsay's Food Market. The market is essentially an upscale food court of course coming with an upscale price. You order at the kiosk which I my mind was easier then going to each booth and you can order from each booth too if everyone in your party wants something different which I did like. I went with the Fish & Chips which came with 3 pieces of Cod, Fries (which I upgraded to Dirty Chips #3 Cheddar Cheese Sauce and Bacon) and 2 sauces going with the Tartar and Curry Mango. The food came out rather quickly which we expected. The fish was fine. Pretty mild but cooked well. For sure needed the sauce and glad they let you get 2. The Curry Mango was my favorite. Had good flavor, maybe to little too sweet in my option but much better then the Tarter which was just your basic Tarter. I will say the fries might have been the stand out. There where a lot of them and they had plenty of toppings too. Was really surprised by the about of bacon and it was actually pretty thick cut bacon too. I also got to try Ashley Farmhouse Burger which I thought was pretty good and you could see them smashing the burgers as they made them. Beware: hours are different for each spot and many are open on different days as well. There is a small Irish pub where you can have a drink/bar food . Located inside the Harrahs Cherokee Resort, this food hall is almost all things Gordon Ramsay. There was definitely a good variety of items for various taste buds but not everything is open all the time. We were torn between the fish and burgers and decided to start with the fish and get the burgers if we were still hungry. The fish was large and tasty while the chips were plentiful and delicious with the chorizo and other toppings. Service was a little slow for the amount of people but the fish and chips were worth it. After we were pretty much full so instead of the burger, we opted to get a little cake from the bakery place. All good except they closed 5 minutes earlier. It was like 2 or 3 pm. I guess no one eats dessert after dinner or for an afternoon snack. The people were still there wrapping up the cakes, that honestly probably by tomorrow would not be as good. They told us we could get a sweet from the grab and go market in the center. However we did not want cupcakes or cookies. There were no slices of the cakes there, which would probably be a better way to use up after they close. So that was a bit disappointing. I guess for next time, dessert first. read more

Was staying at Harrah's Cherokee for a few days and was excited to see they had a Gordon Ramsey Food Market, but then hesitated for a bit because of the low reviews. However, I'm glad that we decided to give it a chance, especially since my 11 year old nephew really wanted to eat there. We ate specifically from only 2 locations - GR Fish & Chips and Street Burger. And, everything we had was delicious and our group all agreed that we would come back for the food we ate. Half us got food from GR Fish & Chips and the other half from Street Burger. We ordered the following: - Regular Fish and Chips - Very crispy and good - Lobster and Chips - My friend really liked it, especially the lobsters - Farmhouse Burger (English cheddar, smoked bacon, fried egg) - My 11 year old nephew said that this was one of the best burgers he had and he is usually not a fan of burgers. - Mushroom Burger - Gruyere cheese, boursin mushrooms, arugula, porcini aioli - As a mushroom lover, this was awesome because it was so full of mushroom flavor. - All of our favorite was the truffle fries with the truffle aioli. Wow! Best truffle fries and that truffle aioli was "chef's kiss!" So, we were surprised by the very low rating on Yelp since everything we had was so good! The only thing we were not a fan of was the ketchup because it tasted more like a cocktail sauce since it seems like they made it from fresh ingredients. We preferred the truffle aioli on everything. Also, maybe because we there on a Monday late afternoon, the wait for the food wasn't too bad as other reviews mentioned. I would say less than 15 minutes? Lastly, about the prices, yes, it was steep, but casino food is always expensive, so we ate here with the expectation of this being a splurge. Unfortunately, it's always hard to find "affordable" food in the casino. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back for the burgers and especially for the truffle fries and the accompanying truffle aioli. If you want a good burger and you're at Harrah's Cherokee, go to Guy Fieri's or Wicked Weed. But that's not the real reason for the low rating. Most people at the poker table told me the pizza wasn't good. One of them even told me I would be better off going to Pizza Hut. I couldn't believe this to be true and had to see for myself. In short, they were right. This pizza is borderline tasteless and the crust is closer to cardboard than quality. I'm sorry, but it really isn't good. Today makes the 3rd time in a row that we waited upwards of 20 minutes or more for our food to be prepared. It's been the same unorganized crew all three times. Missing items that we paid extra for wrong kind of fries that we also paid extra yea for. The cook only cooks one type of food at a time, so why have multiple fryers if you only can cook one thing at a time!! This will be my last time spending that kind of money for horrible customer service. I complained and the cashier told me that I had only been waiting 10 minutes and that wasn't anything to complain about, I told her I had been there at least 20 minutes and I was the only person in line when I ordered so they weren't busy at all. One couple waited 45 minutes for fried lobster that they had to have recooked again cause they ordered without salt and when they got it it was loaded with salt, so they waited longer than I did. read more

After trying the farmhouse burger at your Street Burgers restaurant in Cherokee, I have realized that is nothing but a show. The burger was dry and chewy. Clearly a frozen processed turd. The egg, however, was cooked to perfection. If I was you, I would have taken one bite, spit it out, then proceed to throw it against the nearest window. This is one of the Gordon Ramsey 'food court' venues in the Casino, and basically all fried food with French fries. We opted for the Lobster and Shrimp with Truffle oil parmesan dirty fries. The lobster tail was split in half, and included three large shrimp. The shrimp were large, perfectly cooked, and very crispy with tempura batter. One of the lobster pieces were cooked nicely, while the other piece was on the mushy side, borderline send it back. In retrospect, we should have, since I usually say there's no room to complain when you don't allow the establishment to make it right, but my partner was the one who ate it, and he didn't say anything until we were done with our meal. read more

This thick cookie was far too hard for my taste. I love chocolate, but I didn't finish it. I'd give it a 2/5. While I don't drink a lot of coffee, I found the mocha latte to be good. The cinnamon roll was alright. Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips: The fish combo is good, but the shrimp combo is better. The combo comes with plenty of fries. The truffle fries are worth the additional cost. Customers are generally disappointed with the lobster combo because of too little lobster. I encourage one to confirm the staff gives the right sauces. Street Pizza: The cannolis are amazing. You have to try them. Street Burger: Burgers were good. I had the farmhouse burger. My mom almost got the Hell's Kitchen burger, but then we realized Asadero cheese is a mixture of goat and cow cheese. read more
