Went to the Noodle Bar on the casino floor level after midnight one night. The venue is small and about half of it is counter space so expect a line. I sat at the bar and ordered pad thai and starry soda. The service was fast. The food was good. I ordered mild spice and they executed that well. The dishes aren't cheap but they are large - I had an entire takeout container left after eating. You can use food reward certificates here towards the cost of your meal. My brother in law went two different nights when they were there for the duck so consider trying it! read more

We are absolutely in love with Gordon Ramsey's food we get at the Harrah's casino in Cherokee. We've had the pepperoni pizza three times and every time it's been hot, fresh, and full of quality ingredients. Then one night when they started staying open later, we tried the Italian sub. It is also fabulous! Served warm, it comes with a pesto, banana peppers, meats and cheese and the freshest crunchy bread. There's also burgers, fish and chips, sushi, and more but we've not had any of those yet. There is also a grab and go section with cold sandwiches, chips, desserts, and more. Every time but once we've had great service. One night when it was a late the guy making the food was not excited at all to be there. You'll have that!!! My parter and I are both in our late 60's and we are big fans of Gordon Ramsay shows. I think we have seen every episode of every show he has made. We were in North Caralina last week on probably our last vacation we will ever take because we are both in bad health. Anyhow I saw there was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in the Harris Casino in Cherokee, NC. We were staying about 30 min away from Cherokee so we planned the route and made a day of it. Neither one of us gamble so his restaurant was the mail reason we went. We got there about 11am. I was a little shocked that it was more like a fast food place and for lunch they only offered 3 things. Burger with fries, Street pizza and street toco's. You had to order a whole pizza, they didn't sell it by the slice so we choose the burger and fries. They also had fish and chips but that was only for dinner, not lunch. You had to order from a machine. If I asked a question to a person behind the glass counter they wouldn't even make eye contact. This happened 3 times. I went to place out burger order and the price of the burger and fries was $16.99 so we decided to split it. That was a bit price for us. Then we saw the added on's were separate. Cheese I think was $2.00, a tomato was .69 cents and lettuce was .79 cents. They did give us free ketchup so that was nice. It came a little over $20.00 for the one order. The fries were basically regular fries, good but the burger was just OK, it needed seasoning for sure. Once I added salt and pepper it was better. To me it was so so. I do think they should expand it if possible, especially since COVID restricts the seating even more. The food- bland. The ingredients are actually quality. The other girls went to the food court, but I wanted Asian cuisine so we split up but Noodle Bar didn't open until 3 So I played Black Jack and at 3:30 got in line. I waited about 20 minutes but never fear, I heard customers in line state it doesn't usually take this long. Popped in here tonight for a quick bite to have dinner after walking through the Gordon Ramsey food court. At that food court, you could find burgers, fish and chips, and pizzas. Looking for something a little more diverse, we decided to go to this spot since there was more to offer. They're open from 5 PM-2 AM daily, and when we arrived there was a short line but we were sat super quickly as it's mostly "bar" type seating. There was 3 of us, so we ordered a few dishes and got waters immediately from our server. We ordered seafood noodle soup, seafood lo mein, and beef chow fun. We shared dishes (not the soup, obviously) and everything was executed nicely and was delicious. Beef was very tender, and noodles were perfectly cooked, with some bite but not chewy. Server came by with more water since she could tell I drink like a camel. Loved this meal Portions are big enough to share, and splitting a few dishes would give you the chance to try other things without going crazy over ordering from the menu. This was my first time here and the options provided much variety. Pizza, sushi, soups, salads, fish and chips, burgers, and even a bakery/dessert bar. I got a bbq chicken from the pizzeria with a Caesar salad. The pizza was great but the salad a little bland although you get nice portions for both. We ate burgers and fries another night. She got a plan cheeseburger and I opted for the blue cheese burger with a spicy aioli, arugula, and grilled onions. Everything was great. Hostess was not going to seat us in an empty restaurant because it was 15 minutes before 6 and they were 'booked' starting at 6. A member of management stepped in and kindly seated us. We left at 7:15 and the restaurant was still empty. The prime rib was so good. The beef wellington was missing the Parma ham. It was still good. I probably won't order it again. There was 3 people ahead of us so we got seated fast however they don't give you enough time to look at the menu at all., literally not even 10 seconds and the lady was already asking if we know what to order., i just saw what the other was eating and said i lll get the same., it's a seafood Lomein and my husband got the beef belly noodle soup. I got my order so fast so i waited until they have my hubby's order. After a few minutes my hubby said to go ahead and eat. I feel bad but i was starving so i started eating. 5 minutes, 10 minutes later still no order., he's staring to get annoyed and ask the staff., they were so nonchalant and say the lady making the soup messed up the order., no apologies nothing. A few minutes later finally his soup came out. Now about the food., the lomein is so salty i drank a few glasses of water and tea. It's so greasy as well. Please note: please read reviews carefully! One review said they ordered crispy noodles w/ vegetables. They complained of no sauce on the noodles & crunchy and the "lettuce" was wilted. Although we've been to Cherokee several times, we were never able to try this place. It was either closed the days we were there, or packed full. We are earlier at Gordon Ramsay's food court, but got hungry. We were both surprised with both the food quality and flavor. It also arrived in minutes of being ordered. It was very hot, and seemingly fresh. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were impressed. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is the atmosphere. This review is specifically for Truffles Pub. I don't gamble. I'm a local and when I go to the casino, it's to have a drink and do some people watching. Truffles Pub is the best bar in the casino. It's very relaxing and the drinks are good. No draft beers but the cocktails are well made and well priced, even for the casino. On our recent visit, my wife and I had taken my mother out for her 67th birthday. The bartender, Davis, ensured we had an awesome time and she felt special on her birthday. We intended to have one drink before heading home, but Davis and his bar back (who's name escapes me, I'm embarrassed to say) treated us so well, we decided to stay for a couple more rounds than we had planned. I've eaten here twice because there really is nothing else to eat here at the Cherokee Casino. The first time I ordered Mongolian beef with peppers and onions which wasn't bad, maybe a 3.5/5. But the second time I came, I ordered the roasted duck and it was probably one of the worst ducks I've ever had. The reason I ordered it is because I saw a couple who ordered it sitting next to me and it "looked" appetizing. The duck was glistening over the rice and it made me suddenly crave it. Both the couple and I agreed that when the duck came out, it was very lukewarm, full of fat, and had very little meat. Although it was picture worthy, because of the actual taste, I did not opt to take a picture of it since I was that disappointed. Anyway, those are the only two dishes I can talk about since that's what I ate. If this were a restaurant in a city, I would not come back. I could see why this place gets some negative reviews with being inside of casino, possible slow/poor service, highish prices, but honestly the right dishes are good. What I mean is that this place specializes in Cantonese style of Chinese cuisine, thus dishes like the duck or wonton noodle soups are actually quite good (and authentic) while some of the americanized dishes or stir fries in particular may be less solid. I honestly do not know because I did not order these menu items but the Cantonese is great. By far and away best Asian fare that can be had for hour in any direction (gotta get to Ashville of Knoxville to get anything higher quality). Is in casino so no kids. The space is small and service stern, direct, could be taken as mean potentially (especially in the south) but is nothing absurd or different than being in northeast or Midwest in larger metros at authentic Chinese restaurants. In addition, seeing what the employees have to put up with from a customer perspective in a casino open late, I totally get it. The prices are high but that's par for course on corporate casino. The wonton egg noodle soup for example was 18 dollars before any levees/taxes when similar dish at non casino joint would likely be 5 or 6 bucks less. Stir fries largely 15 to 20 dollars when they would normally be 10 to 15 bucks. The portions are solid. They do to go orders as well. Recommend if staying at this hotel or in area as the food is epically poor in the casino otherwise. read more

My husband and I loved this place! The roast duck was juicy and VERY flavorful and we loved the greens with it. I had Kenney's Seafood Lo Mein, and it had a ton of crab meat and scallops, but it was kind of bland. Once I put some sriracha in it, it was delicious. They are located on the casino floor next to the Asian gaming section (where they play Baccarat). It's more expensive than the food court, but less expensive than the sit-down restaurants at the casino. I got the Korean Oxtai soup noodle, and it was alright. They did give a decent amount of oxtail and noodles, but there was nothing else other than the soup and a little bit of scallion garnish. It tasted a little better than I expected, but I wasn't expecting much. For $16, it's a bit overpriced, but then again I don't think the customers, many of whom are gambling away hundreds or even thousands of dollars, would mind a few extra dollars for the meal. read more
