We came here for the first time, excited to experience Gordon Ramsay's HK, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. To begin with, our server never introduced himself, so I don't even know his name. From the moment we were seated, he seemed uninterested and inattentive, making us feel as though our presence didn't matter. We were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary, so we had hoped for a more welcoming and memorable experience. My husband ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes, and I ordered the salmon. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive. While the presentation was beautiful, the salmon skin was so tough that I couldn't cut through it--even with a steak knife. The salmon was served with sushi rice and bok choy, along with what was described as a gluten-free sauce. Even the server assured me that it was gluten-free. Whatever was in the sauce made me feel sick to my stomach, and I spent the rest of the meal trying not to vomit at the table. Unfortunately, I continued to be sick for the rest of the evening. The ambiance also felt a bit stuffy and cold, which only added to our disappointment. Overall, this was not the anniversary dinner we had hoped for. As for the price point, these meals were overpriced and over rated. Sadly, we won't be returning.

I had always wanted to try one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants and we finally got the opportunity to try! we got the lobster risotto, scallops, beef wellington, short rib, and sticky toffee pudding and we were especially blown away by the appetizers. our favorite by far was the lobster risotto. we couldn't get enough! the truffle flavor was truly the cherry on top. such a delicious dish i will be dreaming about. the inside has pictures of all of the winners of each season of hells kitchen and has an interesting red-blue theme. we also especially loved the toffee pudding and totally understand why its a signature dish!
We came here for dinner while in town as we have visited the San Diego location and really enjoyed it. We ordered the flat bread appetizer which was really tasty. Crunchy but also softer on the edges, a good lighter appetizer to snack on before dinner. We couldn't come here and not get the beef Wellington. It was just as delicious as it was before, super tender and excellent flavor. Just as delicious as it looks. The steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on everything was great. I ordered an espresso martini to drink and really enjoyed that. Would for sure recommend as the food, service and drinks were great. We came here with expectations that it would be delicious and we were disappointed.
We were in Tahoe visiting family and decided to have dinner at Hell's Kitchen at Caesar's Republic. It was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. We started with a martini and an Old Fashioned before ordering the Grilled Branzino and the famous Beef Wellington. For sides, we shared the Potato Purée and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with ice cream for a birthday dessert. The Branzino was perfectly cooked, fresh, and flavorful, and the Beef Wellington absolutely lived up to the hype. It was cooked to a perfect medium with a tender filet and flaky pastry. The Potato Purée was rich and creamy. The Brussels Sprouts were good, but they weren't our favorite side. While I usually enjoy anything pickled, chili glaze, and cilantro individually, the combination of those flavors just didn't quite work for my taste. That said, it's more of a personal preference than a criticism of the dish. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner with excellent food and attentive service. If you're visiting Caesar's Republic, the Beef Wellington is definitely worth ordering!
Warmly greeted and seated promptly by the staff. Chef Gordon's 5-Course Prix Fixe menu was simply exquisite. After first seeing the Amuse Bouche, one might presume an evening of tiny, expensive bites -- leaving one hungry afterwards. Please know that couldn't be further from the truth here. Each course was its own little world. The variety of flavors from each course was interesting, yet perfect together -- moving from seafood to lamb to beef. The Lamb Lollipops with Tomato Jam were simply the best lamb I have ever enjoyed in my entire life. It was moist and flavorful even without either of the sauces. I think they may have ruined lamb for me, because wherever I go from now on, their lamb will be compared to HK, and most certainly lose out. I can just hear it now, "Nope, Hell's Kitchen lamb was better." Now, the Mini Beef Wellington was special, as well. Between the puff pastry and the beef is a thin layer of what I can only describe as mushroom purée. It is wonderful and adds something to the puff pastry that is unique. It's another dish that may be tough to beat, as well. Lastly, the Individual Sticky Toffee Pudding was not what I was expecting from the name, but it, too, was a hit with the entire party. Bo Young was a fantastic server -- very attentive and informative regarding each course. The ambiance was a casual elegance, fitting for such a fine meal. We simply can't wait to return.
First off, I would like to say that I was very excited for this dinner. We have been to the one in Vegas, so we had to visit a new location. It was great, but did not meet the expectations after Vegas. We ordered all the staples. Service was decent. The were out of 2 of the particular wines that we had picked out, so that started out frustrating. I ordered the prefixed menu, as it has the best value and line up for food. My wife ordered the filet and lobster risotto. The rest of the table had all of the appetizers. I was highly annoyed the seared scallops were in a pee puree, with peas(which I am not a fan of), but I scraped it off the scallops and ate them anyway. If you read the menu it says nothing about peas and pea puree, it's corn puree and corn relish. We had 2 orders of those(which included my prefixed helping). My wife received her filet. Ordered medium rare. It was purple on the inside. Barely cooked. Highly disappointing that we had to send a steak back at a high end restaurant. Overall, we marked it off the box. When we come back to Tahoe, we probably will skip here. Glad we had it once, but did not want me to come back.
We made reservations for our anniversary and we were very pleased by all of our dishes and drinks. The ambiance was very elegant and staff were extremely friendly. Our waiter was Nas and he was very nice, he asked if it was our first time and if we were celebrating anything special. He was very knowledgeable explained their specials and was very tentative making sure we enjoyed every single thing. Our busser was also very polite and always kept our table clean and water glass full. This is a pricey restaurant but you are definitely paying for what you get and honestly it was definitely worth the experience. We decided to give Hell's Kitchen a try for our anniversary dinner and went with the Prix Fixe menu, which included the scallop appetizer, Beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The scallop appetizer was very good. Unfortunately, the Beef Wellington was a miss for both of us. We thought it had an odd flavor, which I'm pretty sure came from the black truffle. It may simply have been a matter of personal taste, but neither of our palates enjoyed it. The pastry lacked that light, flaky, buttery texture that should make a Wellington shine. We ended up peeling the pastry off and scraping away the truffles. The star of the evening was the sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely delicious and the highlight of the meal. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant itself didn't feel particularly romantic for an anniversary dinner. The vibe was more "upscale cafeteria" than intimate dining experience. That said, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the night. I'd personally choose and recommend Wolf by Vanderpump over Hell's Kitchen when visiting Caesars Republic.
Went for a family member's 30th birthday celebration thinking it would be a one and done experience of a lifetime. I was worried this place would be overhyped but I was WRONG. The food here is absolutely spectacular and personally, I think it's reasonably priced. I had such an amazing time and truly enjoyed my meal that I told my mom about it. She and my dad have, been into cooking shows within the past few years, so we are going to go again this year to celebrate her birthday in September, already made the reservation. Such a spectacular experience with amazing service and amazing food. HIGHLY recommend.
I hadn't been here for a long time, but I was staying in Tahoe and I decided to come back. I tried to make a reservation on OpenTable, but they required two people. I called the hotel's restaurant reservation line, they also went through OpenTable, but they were able to get me a table for one. Go figure. I show up, and my server, Jake, comes to my table. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, he came by every now and then, to make sure everything was going OK, and to see if I had any questions. if all of the servers are as good as him, this place has it made.... They offer a three course prix fixe meal, , but I decided to order off the menu. to drink, I had the Lakeview lemonade mocktail. Lychee, vanilla citrus, sparkling yuzu, lemonade. It was sweet, tangy, and I liked the sparkling. I had never had foie gras before, so I decided to try it. It came with. Dried berries, , strawberry gastrique, scottish shortbread, and candied marcona almonds. Oh my God. It was rich, creamy, and smooth. I can see why they call it "meat butter." It doesn't happen often, but I was making the same faces that Rachael Ray would make every time she took a bite of food on her old show, $40 a day. The perfect bite was. Foie gras, on top of a piece of the shortcake, run through that gastrique. . . My sister told me to try the short rib, and she was right on. It came with a yukon potato cake, sautéed spinach, crispy onions, and beef jus. More funny faces. The Potato cake was excellent, and that short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Somehow, I had room for dessert, so I had what I had last time, the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. It's a house special. Funny faces, take three ...It was ooey,, gooey goodness, and the ice cream was also very good. An absolutely amazing meal. Definitely not cheap, but 100% worth it. Thank you.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary here and our 1st time eating at Hell's Kitchen. Ofcourse we ordered there famous food from the menu, Beef Wellington, Tomahawk, Lobster Risotto, and a bottle of Zinfandel red wine. We devoured our food, it was so good and received a complimentary dessert Sticky Toffee Pudding so yummyyy. Our server Heather was great and very friendly.

We Have A New Champion!! To give you some backstory, Peter Luger's was the best steak that I tried. Thing is, that was in November. I also tried Hell's Kitchen in LV, but I didn't like it that much. Ironically, I really wanted to try it again. So when I got the opportunity to try it again, I was hyped. The restaurant itself is tucked in the middle of a casino, and the decor is very fancy and nice, even if it isn't hell themed. But, the food is what matters. Me (My mom's tween son) and my dad both got the iconic "Beef Wellington", and my mom got the "Pan-Seared Salmon". The Beef Wellington had a wall-to-wall cook of medium-rare (130 degrees F). Also, the filet mignon was ridiculously tender, the mushroom duxelle added a very nice umami kick, and the potatoes and other assorted vegetables tasted pretty good, (remember, I hate veggies) and the puff pastry was flaky, salty, and soft. 10/10 steak, everything was perfect! My mom's salmon had a crunchy and crispy bottom skin, and the fish itself was soft, cooked to perfection, and tasted very high-quality. Then, the desserts came in. The iconic "Sticky Toffee Pudding" was, well, very sticky, insanely sweet, and the ice cream on top added to the flavor, even if it was just vanilla. Oh yeah! I forgot something! My mom ordered a decaf coffee, since it was late at night. It tastes bitter, but not too bitter, so it was just right. Finally, the "Cherry Cheesecake" was super creamy, cheesy, and sugary. And with the whipped cream, oh, so good! The servers too, were very nice, kind, and always acting very cheerful and happy. The bill came out to $275.94. Even if the wait was very long, the food made up for it by being high-quality and overall delicious. Final scores: Beef Wellington, 100/100 Pan-Seared Salmon, 94/100 Sticky Toffee Pudding, 89/100 Cherry Cheesecake, 100/100 Service, 25/25 Wait time, 4/10 Would I go back? Yes! shout out to our server for the night, Wes. He was very attentive and was so accommodating! I told him about my partner's food sensitivity and he was extremely cautious about it. The service was 10/10. * Scallops (4/5): Slightly overcooked, but it was buttery and a good opener to the prefix set. * Lobster Risotto (holy shit/5): amazing. The co risotto was so good, I didn't even give a shit about the lobster. It was buttery, VERY truffle forward, indulgent, and the perfect texture. Extremely well balanced. The lobster on top was perfectly cooked and paired nicely with the risotto. Absolute cinema. * Beef Wellington (5/5): The crust was buttery and flaky. The beef was perfectly cooked, a beautiful medium rare. (Although sometimes the meat did lean a little sandy). It was good with the mashed potatoes and demi-glacé sauce. Every bite was well worth the price point. * Sticky Toffee Pudding (5/5): Extremely indulgent. The pudding was very sweet, but when paired with the vanilla ice cream, it was so delicious. They stacked on a fat amount of caramel as well! Such a good little sweet treat at the end of the night. Me and my girl are not huge sweets people, so one was enough for the both of us. Very well done from the service to the food. Gordon Ramsay lobster risotto was a very good way to start the night. We also did an octopus appetizer, both outstanding. We went with the beef Wellington and filet mignon (Pittsburg style). The service was excellent -- the details, excellent -- to a point that, if someone from our group stepped away, the waiter would sneak in and tidy things up. He even folded the napkin without anyone noticing. This was a very impressive dinner on all fronts and I highly recommend you stop in when you're in Lake Tahoe. read more

We decided to go to Hells Kitchen, Lake Tahoe because were big fans of the show and of Gordon Ramsay in general. (I've been to his Steakhouse in Vegas) and we had family visiting from New York, so we wanted a special dining experience. The restaurant is inside the Caesars casino, so you do enter through the lobby. The room itself is on the small side and was busy at the time we were there but the noise level was still easy to talk and visit. There is no bathroom inside the restaurant so you have to use the one just outside in the lobby area. The décor was nice, with all the past show winners pictures on the wall. I liked the half blue/red kitchen. This restaurant does not have any live tv show going on. It's much more relaxed. The staff and servers were very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and prepared well. My bf had the Prix fixed menu, which included a Caesar salad, Beef Wellington and their famous Toffee Pudding Cake. I had the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato salad and the Braised Short Rib. We enjoyed our meal, as well as the carefully crafted cocktails. Overall it was a fun experience and great meal. $$$$ but still worth it. read more

I've been a HUGE fan of Hell's Kitchen for the last 20 years and I was so excited to finally get the experience of trying the lobster risotto and beef Wellington for myself! From start to finish the service was top notch. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and our water glasses were never empty. The food was spectacular. It was everything I imagined it would be. The lobster risotto with crispy onions was a 10/10 for me. The beef Wellington was also amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, everything. The ONLY thing that left me wanting more was the food portions themselves. For the price point, $71 for Wellington and $36 for risotto, I was a bit let down. Maybe because my only reference is the show itself, and they do say everything is bigger on TV? Maybe! That said, we shelled out $250 for dinner and I was hoping for a slightly more substantial portion. Nonetheless, I would dine here again and I very much look forward to my next visit! read more

On the last night of my work trip, I had dinner at Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay. Let me tell you, this place was incredible! Of course, I had to try the Wellington, as it's the signature dish on the menu. And let me tell you, it was perfectly cooked--the best steak pop tart I've ever had! The restaurant was very busy because there was a golf tournament there, so the service was a bit behind. We didn't eat for almost an hour and a half, but our server, Alan, made up for it with some nice glasses of wine. All of my coworkers ordered steaks, and they were all cooked to the perfect perfection. We also tried some of the appetizers, and my favorite was the tuna tartare, which was a specialty item for the night. The meatballs were delicious, and we ordered all of the sides. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, make sure you stop by Hell's Kitchen at the Caesars Republic Hotel. You won't be disappointed! read more

We visited on a Saturday night in August and had reservations for 8pm. We arrived about 30 minutes early to check-in. The hostess was able to seat us about ten minutes early. The restaurant is constantly busy, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant has a nice vibe but it's not too upscale to the point that wearing jeans and a t-shirt was totally okay. They have a full bar as you walk in with bar stools at the counter. There are also a handful of tables in the bar area. The main dining area has several different table configurations that are sure to cater to most party sizes. There are no bathrooms inside the restaurant. They are located to your right as you exit the restaurant. Our server was pleasant, friendly and attentive. I ordered a Moscow mule and the beef Wellington. I found the mule to be quite tasty and refreshing. The yelp reviews seem to be all over the place regarding the Wellington, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation of the plate was very elegant. I found the Wellington to be very tender and very flavorful. The breading around the meat was a nice touch. I found myself wanting more mashed potatoes, because they were extremely good. I found the price point for the Wellington to be fair considering how good it was. I would say the price point is very comparable to other high end steak houses. My experience here was good and I would visit again. read more

Stopped in to HK before a show at the outdoor amphitheater, but since we had had dinner at another local spot, this review is only based on service and dessert! Even without reservations, my wife and I were easily able to slip into HK and sit at the bar on a Thursday night. We were simply there to try one thing: The Sticky Toffee Pudding. The service here is amazing. Everyone was checking in on us and was very nice. Everything was quick and painless. The vibes here are full on Hell's Kitchen. Everything is branded with the HK logo. You won't forget where you are, that's for sure. We ordered a penicillin cocktail and the sticky toffee pudding. The drink was great- very booze forward. Then came the pudding. If you haven't had it, its an ultra moist cake with toffee flavor and pieces topped with the most amazing caramel sauce. A truly special treat. While we didn't come to HK on this visit to try the actual food, I felt like our short experience here was still worthy of a 5 star review. I'm sure we'll be back soon for a dinner experience. read more

Hell's Kitchen can be a bucket list experience for any foodie or fan of the show, but it's only really something you need to experience once. I've been three times and highly recommend coming in with a reservation. Even with a reservation, service was subpar, and if you go with a group of six or more, you can expect even less as gratuity is automatically included. The menu is standard year round; however, there are always off menu specials that your server will pitch. On my last visit, I decided to stick with the standard menu and ordered the Corn and Crab Chowder as a starter and Braised Beef Short Rib for dinner. The soup had an immaculate presentation with service pouring the broth over the king crab and topping off with oil. The braised beef short rib was decent. I had a bite of my partner's Beef Wellington and preferred that more. For dessert, don't skip out on the Sticky Toffee Pudding. This is a Chef Ramsey classic for a reason! Overall, we had a good meal; however, the guest experience could be improved. For Hell's Kitchen, everyone from wait staff to the kitchen moves at a snail's pace and we spent over 2.5 hours at dinner, which felt ridiculously long and exhausting. There's no sense of urgency or pride from staff and the ambiance inside feels a little dull because of it. Expect lackluster service and small portions. read more

Nice location, easily accessible and love that I can walk right out to play casino games. Food is ok, definitely nothing crazy. The lobster risotto was okay, risotto was amazing, lobster was meh. The short rib was also just ok nothing to brag about. The drink me got (sneak tiki) I believe was super delicious and not overly strong. The desserts- OMG. I will miss that toffee cake. The raspberry sorbet was so refreshing and delicious, not too sweet not too sour. It was perfect. Definitely will miss the desserts. Was looking for a place to eat and was passing by, seen it wasn't busy so decided to give it a try. I came with a party of four and was immediately seated. The setting was dark, but still well lit and had a very upscale vibe to it. Ordered the Beef Wellington with Lobster Tail and really enjoyed it. It's cool how once you're inside the restaurant you can't hear or see much of the casino outside! The food was amazing. My date and I ordered their wagyu special and the waiter thought we had ordered only 1 plate and were going to split it (lol). So they quickly rectified their error and brought another plate right away which was nice, so we could eat together. I'm most definitely returning to try more items! read more

I've been wanting to try this restaurant ever since enjoying the series, and I finally got the chance at their Tahoe location, it didn't disappoint. We went with the tasting menu, which included the scallops, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. On top of that, we also ordered the lobster risotto and their mac and cheese. The scallops were a hit, fresh and perfectly cooked, with flavors that balanced beautifully. The lobster risotto was excellent, though it had a strong garlic flavor. The beef Wellington was cooked perfectly medium-rare and absolutely delicious. For me, the mac and cheese and sticky toffee pudding were the standout dishes, rich, flavorful, and completely satisfying. read more

I've been wanting to go to this place since it opened up several years ago and finally had a chance last night. My husband and I were able to snag a last-minute reservation and we were so excited to try Hell's kitchen. We shared the lobster risotto and the beef Wellington and let me tell you both were fabulous! Good portions on each of them and they were cooked perfectly. Luis was our server and he was friendly funny and very professional. He's an excellent serve! I have zero complaints about the service or the food. I'm deducting two stars from what would've been a five star review because of the ambience. This restaurant is so loud that you almost have to scream to hear each other talk. It's overwhelmingly loud and it feels like you're seated in a cafeteria. There's just no ambience. I can't justify paying what we paid for dinner to sit in a restaurant like this so unfortunately, we won't be coming back. But I am glad that we got to experience the food. read more

I was honestly expecting this place to be overhyped, but it completely lived up to expectations. From the moment we walked in, everything was spotless and clean. Getting a reservation was super easy, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly the entire time. We were a party of 7 celebrating a bachelor party. I passed on the beef Wellington and went for the 32 oz tomahawk instead. Let me tell you it was cooked perfectly! Btw medium rare the only way! But back to the steak, It was juicy, tender, and full of flavor just the way I like it. Our waiter was one of the highlights also. He was super friendly, funny, and genuinely caring. Food and service were excellent! Quick tip is to book in advance on Open Table! Last year we were turned away trying to walk-in same as other people trying to walk in on a Sunday night. Tried a Lakeview Lemonade mocktail that had the right mix as a refreshing drink with the fizz and, yuzu and lychee flavors. We had the golden beet salad and the risotto to start and you can definitely taste the truffle used. The beef wellington which melts in your mouth and a Medium Rare only item. We also got a Tomahawk steak served with mushrooms, roasted tomatoes and garlic, and bearnaise sauce. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Wes our server was very attentive. We had our anniversary dinner at Hell's Kitchen as we are huge fans of Gordon Ramsay. The ambiance in the restaurant was awesome and great little touches that remind you Gordon Ramsay's rage such as the pitchfork like light fixtures above. Inside, it is not too quiet and not too loud. Perfect for people who love to talk and eat, but also not be bothered by other patrons. The service was great as well. Our server was personable and willing to help us with anything we had questions with. Asked about the occasion and was thoughtful. We wrote on our reservation that it was our anniversary and also mentioned it to our server, so we were given a free smaller version of their amazing sticky toffee pudding. The food was great as well and met my expectations of something from Gordon Ramsay's kitchen. Rustic and simple good food. We had an appetizer of a octopus steak, which was great, tasted great, and had a texture similar to steak surprisingly We also had the foie gras, which was okay to me personally, since I've had others that tasted better. But not bad by any means. For our main entrees, I got his famous beef wellington and my partner got the lamb. We both enjoyed our dishes and paired it with a nice red wine. We were seated right next to where the food goes out from the kitchen, which was decorated nicely with red and blue and the chefs standing in the area wore a red team and blue team outfit. It was a nice touch inspired by his Tv show. At the end, we got our own sticky toffee pudding and also our smaller complimentary one, so it was nice of them to still give it to us even though we ordered our own. It used to be so hard to get a reservation here. If we were lucky we'd get a seat outside the restaurant that encompasses the bar. That was always very entertaining as we faced the open kitchen and had the bartenders attention. That being said, since Vanderpumps opened next door there seems to be a bit more competition and reservations are slightly less difficult to come by. I will say, they are very proud of their menu but not necessarily very generous. I always order the lobster risotto and this time I was deeply disappointed. The risotto was broken and a very skimpy serving in my opinion. The rest of the food was just not remarkable. The drinks were wonderful but overall a VERY expensive evening. This was such a treat for my birthday! Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My boyfriend and I opted for the 5 course prix fixe menu so we can try a little of everything. Before I get into the courses, the ambience wasn't what I expected. I thought it would be more intimate, but it was actually pretty open, with tables scattered throughout and people walking past in the casino looking into the windows. Did it bother me? Absolutely not. But just a heads up to anyone who really wanted that intimate, romantic setting. 1st bite: Amuse Bouche - Caviar bite with dill cream (9/10) 1st course: Ahi tuna tartare Soy chili vinaigrette, Asian pears, pickled chili fresnos, lavosh (8/10) 2nd course: Pan Seared Scallops Celery, root purée, braised, bacon Lardon, corn relish (10/10 - PERFECTLY cooked scallops) 3rd course: Lamb lollipops Harissa lamb jus, Fresno chili jam, yogurt cream sauce (10/10 - The jus was salty and rich, the cream kinda cut it, and the Fresno jam was sweet with a TINY kick. I did the pre fix menu, thought about wine pairing but decided not to. First I saw smoking barrel going to the table behind us so I just had to get it, it was a video/picture worth cocktail and taste wasn't bad either. First course was caviar but it was so small I could barely see it, wish there were at least one more piece. And the dish kept on coming, everything was delicious. I had a couple of glasses of wine with the course after smoking barrel. And ended with yummy sticky toffee. Our cute server Walter was great. Very loud!! Not romantic! Food was ok. I do recommend you split the Caesar salad and a side to save money. No French fries at this location either. The wagyu meatballs were ok, they lacked seasoning lucky there was a lot of sauce & cheese to make up for it. My husband loved the beef Wellington, the filet also lacked seasoning and was only like warm. The sauce on the side , skip it a good steak should not need sauce. For our sides we had the corn and the macaroni. The corn would have tasted better on the Cobb and the macaroni he said was good but filling. The free dessert was delicious. Took the tart home it was delicious as well. Our waitress was great and her assistant too. Overall for our 10yr Anniversary I can officially mark this off my bucket list. read more

Needless to say the pricing and portions didn't match. A side of cauliflower for 13$ that had literally 8 pieces Tried their world famous toffee pudding (included biscoff) which was way too sweet (like very very very sweet). We've been to Hell's Kitchen several times and it's my favorite place for a nicer, more upscale meal. The service has always been spot on every time we've gone. It's located inside Caesars Republic and has glass walls so you can see out onto the casino floor, which gives it a cool atmosphere without feeling too loud inside. The food is consistently top notch. My favorite things to order are the filet, the lobster risotto, and the sticky toffee pudding. The steak is always cooked perfectly, the risotto has the ideal texture and flavor, and the dessert is rich and definitely on the heavier side, but really good if you're in the mood for something indulgent. The cocktails are also really good and well balanced. This is such a great spot for a special dinner and one I always recommend. read more

HUGE fan of the HK show, kept me happily distracted for so many years! Ain't going to lie, I stayed the night at the Silver Legacy location in Reno where there was also the GR Fish n Chips as well as another GR location with the beef welly--but I wanted to experience Hell's Kitchen. An inkling of me (and the rest of my crew) thinks this may just be a utilization of the GR and HK name and not necessarily a true GR establishment under his actual and direct guidance. Disappointments/ - so, so, so disappointed it's not an actual open kitchen layout where you see everybody cooking; it's solely a 1 to 2 man show prepping the apps that you can see - this casino location is under construction and so beat down with limited options but obviously this isn't their fault Tips/ - you really don't need to hypothetically waste $25 on OpenTable to make a reservation because there were so many open tables - YES you need to pull a parking ticket but THEY DO VALIDATE PARKING for 4 hours (do not forget to tell them as they put a physical sticker on your parking tab)...otherwise it is $25 - this restaurant and the casino is located on the THIRD floor I ordered: 1) half a dozen oysters $27.95 - THIS IS THE HIGHLIGHT of the night - the meat was so juicy, so clean, and so delicious (do not let the size fool you!.. yes they are extra tiny) - I ordered this solely per the recommendation that you must try the sauce (SO TRUE.) 2) Caesar salad with no additions $17.95 - options of adding chicken or shrimp (I don't eat poultry but I ordered this solely because I wanted vegetables) - croutons were the best croutons I have ever had in my life... they put actual seasoning and herbs on each crouton with a drizzle of oil so it's extra delicious - standard Caesar salad otherwise 3) lobster risotto $35.95 - one person in my party believed the rice to be undercooked - lobster was fresh, delicious and sweet - everything complimented really well together 4) scallops $31.95 - my least favorite dish of the night - lukewarm scallops - everything was just sweet - bacon was flat and didn't add much to the dish - corn was sweet and crisp 5) beef welly $70.95 - I was so surprised there was no crunch to the puff pastry at all - everything on the plate complimented each other truly well - filet was absolutely melt in your mouth - presumably filet only comes as medium rare as the standard per the waiter (however I wouldn't be surprised if you can customize it) 6) Mac n cheese $15.95 - I appreciate the honesty of the waiter... SURPRISINGLY, the noodles/pasta itself is NOT made in house (it is sooo surprising because per the show and multiple other Gordon shows, Gordon always states its ridiculous not to make something so simple by hand...) - BUT, I personally hate Mac n cheese and would never eat Mac n cheese unless I am absolutely starving and I have zero options...and this was possibly the best Mac n cheese I have ever had in my life. It was just right all around. No after tastes. No cheese vomit. Toppings added another welcoming dimension and texture. Service: - super friendly - super aware/alert - super honest - never felt ignored - water always refilled and I never had to ask them - always more than willing to customize to your liking whether that's the dish or the dining experience (I asked them to slow the dishes down and they made it a 3 course meal... much appreciated and thank you!!!) Ambience: - great place for a much deserved treat - dimly and romantically lit - cozy and intimate Will I come back? Nope, but it was a definite once in a lifetime dining experience that I will never forget and something I will forever cherish.
