    Lake views for days

Four times eating here in less than year and each time, chefs kiss! Great service, selection, cocktails, and that view! Kudos to Frank(GM) remembering us and getting our table with a spectacular view. Can't wait to go back in the Fall.

Came here because we had some rewards credits to use, and were craving steak. The service was fantastic. Glad we came before sundown so we could see the beautiful view of the lake as well. The food however was nothing notable and would not pay this price point had we not had dining credits. The mushroom ravioli was a tad salty, flavor was okay. And both of our meat cuts I believe were slightly overcooked.

The most beautiful restaurant in Lake Tahoe. Their food was incredible, steak and lamb cooked perfectly, delicious soups, and amazing drinks. The scenery is breathtaking, you can see all of Lake Tahoe! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Great steaks with a great view of Lake Tahoe! The service and food in this restaurant are superb!

Food, Service, views. Everything here is perfect every time me and my wife come here. Fantastic. Get her to see the sunset. It is not to be missed. Elk steak was amazing.

I have been to the Sage Room several times. The service is always great, but I have had mixed food in the past. I went at the end of November 2025 and the whole experience was excellent. We went for my friend's birthday. Frank the GM was very friendly, helpful, and just delightful. Anthony's waitering was top notch and the banana's Foster delightful. I split the poke and the shrimp and scallops with my friend. The sear on the shrimps and the scallops was perfect making them flavorful. I would eat either of those again. It was dark when we were there, but you could see some of the Christmas lights of Heavenly Village.

Sage room is a wonderful restaurant on the 19th floor of Caesars Republic hotel. Such a great place with super friendly employees, a prestigious vibe from the top of a property, and overall great experience. We did not eat here however, the employees pointed out their best dishes, spent a ton of time with us promoting their brand and great offerings, and made us feel welcomed the entire time. We had drinks here but we'd be hard pressed to not visit the amazing restaurant the next time we're here.

We had an amazing first dining experience here last night. The ambiance is great and I'm sure views are wonderful when it isn't dark out like it was for us. Service was A+ all around. Drinks never went empty. We got complimentary warm bread and butter to start and it was very yummy. We split all dishes. The Caesar salad was huge even split in two. The 20oz bone in NY strip was delicious and plenty big enough to share. My only complaint about the au gratin potatoes is that it needed to be double the size for that price. It wS tasty but not great, seems a little undercooked. The table side bananas foster is $30 for two but worth every penny! So delicious and a special treat for sure, not something you find at restaurants often. We'll be back as we absolutely enjoyed the dinner!

    The view

Went early so we could try to get a table at the window. They seated us immediately, and we had great seat with a beautiful view. Waiter was very attentive. I ordered salmon and it was really good. Also got the mushroom ravioli and they were perfect. the bonin chicken was cooked perfectly. The huckleberry ice cream was the perfect finish. I highly recommend!

Sage, located on the 19th floor in the Cesars hotel, truly made this birthday a memorable one. I wish I came across a Jericho and Tarra every time we went to dine in. My last minute birthday Tahoe trip leads to no reservations lined up, but we called and they were happily able to accommodate our party of 8 one hour before closing time! With the expectation to make dinner brief, they made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, even seating us in the corner next to the window to enjoy what likely was the most exclusive view in the restaurant. From appetizers (Cesar salad, shrimp cocktails and bone marrow), a bottle of the Chappellet cabernet, to the Ribeye, filet mignon and prime rib, and all sides.. ugh! Just a great evening all around! Definitely give them a shot and ask to sit in Jericho and Tarra's sections :) Cheers!

I've heard about place and Wolf was fully booked so I decided to dine here. First, the hostess girl who sit us was very nice and friendly and she sat us at a corner window table and had the spectacular views. We started with half dozen of oysters and 2 glasses of Sauvignon Blanc ( they didn't have a good one by glass but it was ok), but the oysters were good so we ordered another half dozen. Next we both had wedge salad which had candid bacon and it was delicious. For main, I got the Wagyu which was so tender with Japanese steak sauce on top, just like the ones I was having when I was just in Japan a week ago and my date had rib-eye which was also tender and flavorful surprisingly because rib-eye tend to be a bit tough and we also had a side of truffle gnocchi, even though I didn't taste or smell truffle, it was still delicious with some crunch in them. For dessert we had crème brûlée which was as lemony and refreshing. From the servers to the manager everybody was very attentive great service. I love old style classy steak house, we had a fantastic dinner here! We were the last ones to leave and thank you for letting us stay a bit longer than they probably wanted...

First time dining here. Our server Jericho and helper Juan were very attentive and friendly. Hubby and I shared a salmon w/puree sweet potato & broccolini plate. We also had lobster bites. The garlic butter sauce is so good and yummy for dipping your bread. A great meal on the 19th floor of Harvey's. Beautiful view. A nice spot if you just want to have a drink at the bar with great views of the lake. Bon Appetit!

Frank the GC is amazing , professional and lovely with his greeting from the moment you checked in. Jeffrey our server is beyond amazing with absolute on point with the knowledge of the menus. These two gents made my son's birthday so memorable. The food has never failed us. Delicious!

The girls had a great time!

Ask the Community - Sage Room Steak House

Did they take the steak Diane off the menu?

Yep. All tableside dishes except the desserts. Tragic

Are they still serving French Onion soup?

    Yes

    Is there reservation?

Yes you can or call ahead and get seating

Have they moved to the top of Harvey's yet?

19th Floor. Nice view! Go at sunset.

Is parking fee validated for a dinner party of 4 on Sept 8?

There is self parking at the Casino, or Valet parking for a small tip

Anyone know if they have a kids menu, have two older well behaved kids 11 and 13?

    No

Is there a dress code for Sage Room Steak House?

I would say no, but it is a nicer steakhouse. The wait staff is in tuxedos, suits. Most people will dress a little nicer, but it's not required.

They probably use corn starch instead of flour, because they aren't overly breaded. Shoutout to the prep workers there (whatup Zoe!), because the food is like crazy good, hot, and fast. For most of the food, they have this insane rotating grill that you can see from the street. Super cool operation Steak salad is a must as well. It's so refreshing! It's got a balsamic dressing, some bleu cheese, and either raisin or dried cranberry and maybe walnuts. I don't actually know because I shovel it down my throat lol. Burgers are the best in the area. Even their less popular items are very well done. Recently got a sausage and peppers sandwich that was as good as what I routinely make at home. Atmosphere is amazing. All the employees go above and beyond. I usually sit at the bar and play any of their video gambles. You win some, you tip extra, you leave happy. You lose some and get some beers on the house. I'll go there if I go to Nevada beaches, or if I want to catch a game. South Lake resident and I generally avoid stateline for it's crowds but I'll head up to Lucky Beaver just for the food. I'm assuming they do PPV MMA fights which is another excuse to show up going forward Shoutout to Bruno as well. Awesome bartender. There's also a few awesome gals who's names escape me at the moment. It's a super chill place while having a great vibe and energy The other patrons are just fun people, it's easy to have a conversation with the guy sitting next to you. It's a well known place but I think it's still a hidden gem amongst all that chaos lol. For a 24 hour place, it's very chill. Never had a bad experience. It's good for hanging out with friends but I wouldn't hesitate bringing my nieces and nephews and whole family there. Only critique is parking. They don't comp it, but all parking is paid now at the casinos, so it's no surprise, that's just the standard.. I think if you get in and out in less than an hour parking is free, so keep that in mind. You can also park further away at other free parking areas and walk.

Burgers are made to order and take about 15 minutes (stated on their menu). Our royal flush was juicy and had a good beefy taste. The ratio of beef patty:cheese:grilled onions:sautéed mushrooms:fresh veggie:bun was perfect. I couldn't really taste the horseradish aioli but did see it in there. We ordered medium (not the slightest bit pink) and wished we had gone with medium rare but it was still tasty. The tater tots were super crispy! Service was good. No parking validation. All things considered, we had a good experience, and we'd likely return next time we visit the area. The positive? The food was excellent. The negative? The hostesses and the waiter. My wife had the Salmon Oscar and simply loved it. She got the broccoli as a side, and it was a plentiful helping. She also said the broccoli was fresh and nicely cooked. I had the pairing of the NY and grilled shrimp, with a baked potato as a side. The steak was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were a bit small, but the lemon butter was a nice pairing. It's hard to mess up a baked potato, but I've seen it done. This one was perfect and had just the right amount of butter. For dessert, we shared the carrot cake...boy, was this good! We were sorry we didn't order two. We would return for the carrot cake alone. It was very moist, and the frosting was just the right amount of sweet. We loved it! When we arrived, there was a gaggle of folks at the hostess stand. Not one greeted us warmly, nor were we told to enjoy our meal. We had added a "special occasion" during the booking. No one at the restaurant ever mentioned it. It was extremely disappointing! The waitress was tepid. She would warm up at times, but it was definitely not our best experience. The staff left us wanting, especially for a nice dinner and a special occasion. If we decided not to return, it would rest solely on the experience with the staff.

The Seafood Plateau was incredible with King Crab Legs, Jumbo Prawns, Mussels, Lobster Tail, Ahi Tuna Poke, and Salmon Poke. We also had the Crab Cake, two sizeable patties -- a little bit more flavorful and larger than your typical Crab Cake. The Grilled Broccolini was good, but typical. Lastly, for appetizers, the Crispy Pork Belly was also a hit -- although I did not get a taste as it is smaller and not so much shareable. The pièce de résistance was the Tomahawk Steak. Cooked perfectly medium-rare and served with Chimichurri and Au Poivre sauces on the side. The steak was very flavorful without any sauce, IMO. Served with Grilled Asparagus and Lobster Mac & Cheese. Kelsey provided excellent suggestions and service throughout. The ambiance was nice -- not dressy, but not casual. Resort attire, is what they call it, I think. We will definitely be back!

We came two days in a row so first night was no kids.

Find me a better dining view and I'll try it!…read more I had been 11 years since going back to Fridays Station, no fault of the restaurant it just wasn't in the cards during other Tahoe visits. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical that it just wouldn't hold up to my memory or previous visits. Boy, was I wrong. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. The service team,Terius and Ruben, were nothing but amazing. I will say if I could dock .5 stars I may, specifically due to the fact that Fridays Station no longer takes the time to decrumb the table. Thsi is so simple and silly to think of docking stars but it was an exceptional piece to dining there. Now the important part, food. Ah-mazing! No really! So good. We had the Blackened Shrimp App, 3 large prawns in a delicious sauce. House salad in which I added the extra prawns sauce to, because why not. I opted to have the Elk Lion and my husband enjoyed the Rack of Lamb special. Both dishes were phenomenal! I mean it! I was so close to ordering the Seabass because of the previous amazing reviews, boy am I glad I didn't! The lamb was delicious, slightly under cooked for my husbands liking but that is a him problem. It was perfect. Normally, we dont get dessert. This was an exception. Of all our previous dinners and views of the restaurant we chose the Baked Tahoe (enough to share with 4 at least). It was quite the indulgence and I am glad we did it! It will not be 11 years that we come back! A+ rating
